Cons: None found so far

Pros: BrightWide Viewing AngleMotion Sensor
Comment:
I bought this as replacement for my Samsung SyncMaster 244T which died due to a power supply failure (bad caps). The screen is bright and has a very wide angle of view. It has a motion senor which can be used to power-down the monitor when you leave your desk.I did not find any dead/stuck pixels, and no noticeable bleed.

Good monitor overall but with an unacceptable backlight bleeding issue. Check the review before purchasing and make sure this does not bother you.

Cons: external power supply

Pros: Great Viewing angle and lighting
Comment:
excellent monitor with no dead pixels default settings are extremely bright and had to be toned down a little bit, only problem I have is the powersupply not being built into the monitor, it does however have a nice bracket for holding the external one.

Cons: Silly power-up sequence required to avoid having the monitor or PC appear dead. The monitor will ignore video signals if you first power on the monitor then connect the video cable afterwards. Instead, you must first connect all the cables, then power on the monitor with the switch at the inline power supply. The inline power supply is a bit awkward, although it does snap into the back of the monitor.

Pros: Great colour, viewing angles, thin bezel, matte black frame & base, nice buttons.
Comment:
Bought this for an all-around system that includes a fair bit of photo and scanner work. The matte black brushed-aluminum-like finish on the frame is nice & subtle (and even matches the finish on the black Shuttle enclosure). Overall very happy with the monitor. Haven't had a chance to check black levels or calibration results.

Cons: No HDMI

Pros: Excellent image quality, great ergonomics
Comment:
This is the best monitor I have ever owned. Image quality is excellent, very natural and lifelike. Viewing angles are superb, exactly as stated on the product description. Ergonomy is excellent. You can rotate the screen to either an horizontal or vertical position, upward, downward, forward, backward. There is a 4 ports USB 3.0 hub on the back of the screen and a microphone/headphones audio input, which are very useful too. My only complaint is the lack of an HDMI port, but this is no big deal. I am very satisfied and would highly recommend to anyone.

Cons: stand a bit wobbly

Pros: Sharp text, bright natural colours, non-obtrusive anti-glare coating, very wide viewing angles, usb 3 ports, , low power consumption, 16:10 ratio
Comment:
Excellent monitor, am very happy with the performance. Colours are bright, and natural without being over-saturated. Photos from my D7000 Nikon DSLR look excellent. Text is crisp and well defined. Viewing angles are very good. Anti-glare coating isn't even noticeable at all. Power consumption is 25 watts at 75% brightness, as measured by kill-o-watt device. Eco sensor dims monitor when no one is nearby. Only drawback is the stand wobbles a bit wobbly when adjusted, but not a big deal at all really compared to all the advantages of this monitor. Excellent for every day use as well as photo editing in the sRGB colour space. Good job Samsung.
