my other sammy gave out after 5 years, so price wise, this was a great price! Nice monitor easy setup. you can use HDMI or VGA on this unit. I found this out because they, NCIX split up the order (monitor and HDMI cable sent seperate) The HDMI cable showed up 2 days later! Still NCIX Rocks! The only thing I noticed at night, its not completely dark |

Cons: Perpendicular ports on the back can cause cables to shift and damage the connection.

I got this monitor as a part of a new build on the sale price, but I soon noticed that if the desk shook sometimes or my HDMI cable was disturbed, that the screen would briefly lose connection. It would go black for just a moment before going back to normal. I likely just have a faulty monitor, but sideways facing inputs seem quite unintuitive as a design choice in the first place. |

I've had several monitors but my last 2 have been Samsung's and I have not been disappointed. This new one is no exception so far. I use it 50/50 gaming/work. Great, vivid picture quality with many easy-to-use settings to choose from. Stand and monitor bezel is very nice. Stand doesn't shake much. I was a bit worried about the "Translucent Red Gradation" and how bright/distracting it would be. I wanted pure black. Rest assured, it is not. The screen looks gloss black until light is shined on the bezel. I actually think it's a nice touch now. Don hesitate to pick this monitor up if; especially if it's on sale. |

Fantastic monitor when on sale price. I nearly did not buy it because of no DVI, but I would think HDMI is mostly going to replace DVI anyway. If you don't have HDMI, check if your video card may have come with a DVI to HDMI adapter. The onscreen menu works well and the touch sensitive buttons are responsive.Has only RGB cable included but this is pretty standard for now at least. |

This monitor is great for $139 but, I would have been disappointed for the full $239 price. It has a picture about the same as a previous Samsung (P2370) and Dell I have and both of them were $150 full price. The lack of display port or DVI could be a problem, make sure you have an RGB or HDMI port free on your vid card. The bezel is about 2cm wide. I am using it as the centre monitor in 3 monitor surround and it's not bad. |
This LCD monitor has been working very well since I bought it two month ago as a gaming monitor. Build quality is good and it has bright, vivid color. The utility is useful too.
