Cons: - Tiny bit wobbly- View angle is quite restrictive. Colors will shift very quickly as view angle increase, becoming brighter if looked at a higher position and darker if looked from a lower position (relatively from the center of the screen).- No HDMI

Pros: - Screen size.- Nice colors.- Bright.
Comment:
I got this monitor knowing I was buying a really good one from Samsung and a nice looking one too. I can't really afford having a bigger one for the price, so this one was perfect in that way. Lots of space, I enjoy very much playing on this screen although I'm not a first-person shooter hardcore player. Haven't had any issue with it so far, no dead pixel, no bright pixel either. The only thing I wish I could have on this screen is an HDMI port so I could plug in my PS3. Nonetheless, I'm very happy with it and would buy again for a computer-only purpose.

Cons: Mine had an EDID from a 17", under Windows 7 max res allowed was 1280x760.

Pros: Good if you get a working one.
Comment:
I bought this monitor 2 years ago and it worked great for the first 8 months on WinXP. When I switched to Windows 7 I could no longer set to native of 1920, it maxed out at 1280.There is a chip in your monitor called an EDID that tells your PC the max res your monitor will support. My monitor came with an EDID from a 17". In XP you could override the EDID, in Vista and 7 you can't. If you google 2443bw + EDID you'll find a bunch of links to this problem. Also a trick if you do have a bad EDID you cant return. You can take a DVI->VGA converter dongle and remove the 2 pins that send the EDID info. It'll come up as "non plug and play monitor" and Win7 will let you go to 1600x1200. At least its usable in this res vs unusable at EDID max of 1280x760. Hope this helps...

Cons: No HDMI. Can't turn it on its side.

Pros: Big screen, high res (1920x1200), has a VESA mount. VGA and DVI. Pretty good viewing angles. Videos and movies have never looked so good. Tilts up and down a litte. Very little wobble to the stand.
Comment:
I bought this monitor locally from Staples for about 50 bucks cheaper (currently $344.65). I went from a 16 inch CRT to a 24 inch LCD so it was a HUGE change for me.Its been very good so far. Only big complaint I have is that it doesn't fit in my desk properly.hehIt would be nice if it had an HDMI connection, though its no big deal cause I don't have anything that needs an HDMI connection.I also wouldn't mind if I could turn it on its side now and then go get the long view for somethings, though again its not actually needed. The buttons are a little annoying as they are touch sensitive and in a dark room it can be a little hard to find the power button, but again not a big deal, not even worth mentioning it as a weakness. If I had the desk space, I would get another 2 of these, or what ever their upgrade versions are.

Cons: Backlight bleeding!!Poor viewing angles.Blacks are really dark grey.Wobbly bobble-head stand.

Pros: High resolution (1920X1200).Good colours (for a TN panel)....once calibrated.Adjustable stand.Fast response time.Reasonable price (when on sale). No dead pixels.
Comment:
Having owned several Samsung monitors, and a Samsung big-screen TV, this monitor has been a bit of a disappointment so far.Sure the colours are pretty decent, after fiddling with the settings for a long time. So games look pretty good, especially with so much screen real estate. What really disappoints, are the blacks that look more like dark grey, no matter how much you muck around with the settings. And the big one.....Backlight Bleeding. I realize all TN panels have this to some extent, but on this one it's REALLY noticable. Like a blue halo all around the outer edge of the screen, which is really irritating in darker games. Well, considering the types of games I play, that would be ALL of them. Strangely, none of the online reviews I came across mentioned the phenomenon being THIS bad on this monitor. Also, this monitor seems to have extremely poor vertical viewing angles. Move your head up and down ever so slightly and dark areas appear at the top of the screen.I'd consider RMA'ing the thing, but since there are no dead pixels, it's technically not defective. So I'll live with it for now, but I think I WILL be trading up to something better, sooner rather than later. And next time, something other than a Samsung. DONT' BUY THI MONITOR. it's not worth the money you will spend. I paid 300$ for a monitor that I can't return. I own an IPS at home and far better than this monitor. This monitor is for my office and the quality is very poor.If NCIX can authorize me to exchange for another model, it will be fine but I think it's not possible even if I paid for Express Coverage. Cons: Touch sensitive buttonsSlightly overheatsAuto source function

Pros: Sharp, clear textAwesome for movies and gamesBright and vividAdjustable standPowered USB hub
Comment:
I bought this monitor with a price match of $315, which is not bad considering the price drop. It is a little pricey compared to other monitors, but with added features like the adjustable stand, the usb hub, and magic rotation, it makes up for it. Its great for movies and games, with a huge screen and a clear and bright picture quality.Only things I don't particularly like with this monitor are the touch buttons and the auto source function. The touch buttons are temperamental. They sometimes work and sometimes they don't. As for the auto source function, it takes too long to find the proper connection but you can turn it off.All in all, its still a pretty good monitor. I'd definitely get another one if my current one dies on me. This review was modfied by poster @ 02-04-10 07:04 PM

Cons: None from my viewpoint

Pros: IT Can PivotIt is HUGEResolution is HUGEStand is very secureCan adjust to many heights
Comment:
I bought this monitor because I wanted a monitor that would pivot into the Portait Position. Yes, and Tallest monitor in the world! 1200x1920, WOW. The software that I want to use benifits from having all the information on the screen at once, no scrolling to see it all, and having a 1920 vertical resolution. WOW. Viewable from many angles is great too. The only thing I had to get used to is actually looking when I turn on and off the monitor. it is touch sensitive (feeling the heat from your finger?) and the on/off button is on the front bottom right, (actually bottom left when rotated), and you don't know where that button is exactly, so you end up swiping your finger along the bezal. The blue light comes on immediately to give you confirmation that you have turned it on, but my other monitor had a button that your finger feels and by pushing it I can have my eyes closed and I know I have turned it on. But it is still cool to turn it on this new way. This is the second one of these monitors that I have setup and am using. Both are GREAT!. I have setup and used and LG pivotting 24" monitor, but it was 16:9, so rotated it was 9:16. It was too skinny.Beware, this samsung comes in an amazingly HUGE BOX, with everything all attached. just pull the pin and rotate!

Cons: Not usable in portrait orientation.

Pros: Great value: sharp text, fast response, low price.
Comment:
I love the monitor and plan to buy another when I upgrade to 3 monitors. The limited gaming I do looks awesome with excellent response.Compared to other TN panels the color is great.Even though the HAS stand (very nice) supports rotating the display, when in portrait orientation the display is only viewable when you are DIRECTLY in front of it. Even looking from just a few inches to one side makes it very difficult to view.I also wish the HAS stand would raise up another inch or two.Another big plus is it looks great. Simple black rectangle and no glossy or colored surfaces.

I currently have 2 of these in a dual monitor setup and am considering buying a 3rd. Great monitor and the price is coming down on them very nicely. The height adjustable stand is key and i love the simplicity of the screen bezel. Also I have just purchased dual-link DVI cables as I read they will help with the picture on videos. Cons: If you like background pics, they look terrible if they aren't high enough resolution to fit this screen.

Pros: Great upgrade in viewing and no problems with gaming
Comment:
Finally bopped the old CRT as this LCD is fast enough to play anyone of over a hundred plus games at max resolution. This monitor really shows its stuff when you view multiple windows. You may not want to do verything in full screen as there is a lot of real estate to cover. Excellent viewing from any angle I'm gonna be playing from. Colors were good as you can get in this range. NCIX even price matched it when it was on sale to a lower-priced sale that was online at another site. Now I just have to convince my wife she doesn't need one as she's bugging me to get one for her too.

Pros: Very brightGreat for games and moviesMuch clearer than my dellNice adjustable stand
Comment:
I bought this monitor after I read a review on overclock.net, one of the mods were raving about it so I decided to give it a try. It's a very good monitor. I love the 1920x1200, it's awesome for gaming, I really don't like the 1920x1080 monitors, they are too stretched. Although the first time around I got a dud with broken touch sensitve buttons, but NCIX quickly replaced it and so far so good. Neither the dud nor the replacement had any dead pixels, which was excellent. Not that it mattered since I bought the zero dead pixel thing from NCIX.

Just purchased this product not long ago as a replacement for the monitor (ACER) that finally gave up on my husband. This is very similar to mine (245B) and works great. It came ready to use, arrived quickly...and the price wasn't bad at all either. Would recommend this product.

I bought two of these LCD monitors. I connected those to a XFX GeForce 9600 GSO Video Card - 768MB DDR2, PCI Express 2.0, Dual Link DVI, SLI Ready. These LCD pannels works perfect with my configuration. The price is right; now I am waiting for the price to come down a little bit more to get 2 more.
