Comment:
This is a fantastic monitor, despite the high price I still find it to be good value. A lot of people have had some issues with the 3D ghosting in certain games, I've tried most of the same games and have found no issues yet. Clarity of the screen is great, and my panel pretty much has no bleed although that seems to be luck of the draw. The only downside is my panel does sag a bit on the left, I was afraid that was going to happen with the design. Despite that the hinge does seem sturdy, so it's a shame they didn't count for that to happen. While the design is really nice, I still would have bought it and maybe preferred if it had a more traditional base. Would buy another one though, great monitor.

Cons: -No native Nvidia 3D support, and none will ever be developed (there is a workaround but like all workarounds it is less than ideal/optimal)-Stupid, stupid, stupid base plate design. Whoever came up with this should be fired: all inputs are to the back of the bottom of the 7.5" wide base. This means that the MINIMUM distance the panel will be from the edge of your desk is 10.5 inches. In order to prevent severe wire bend this places it almost smack dab in the middle of my 26" wide desk. This was completely avoidable with proper design and if not for NCIX's restocking fee I'd be taking it back because of this.-TV (in my case Panasonic) glasses do not work with this monitor. Manufacturers need to work on standardizing the emitters IMO.

Pros: -Great delta e for most colors-Excellent black levels-Good bright levels-Out of box setup for colors is impressive-2D-3D scaling is typically a gimmick-with this monitor it is not. Very good 2D-3D scaling.-Overall the image is clear, crisp, bright and vibrant.-True 120 Hz panel-Tested some Blue-ray video and it looked good.-3D glasses are much nicer than the Panasonic ones that I purchased for my TV.-3D renders well from my Panasonic 3D Blue-ray player-No noticeable artifacts when panning

If you have the desk space for this monitor I highly recommend it. At the time of my purchase 1/12/2012 it was on sale at NCIX.If desktop space is an issue, specifically if your desk is pushed up close to, or against a wall I suggest looking at other options.

Cons: thought the controls down in the lower right corner could use a bit more thought in there operation, seems to me that one has to push on em' a bit harder than is needed.

Pros: WOW!!! Awsome!!!!Not sure about the 3D thing yet, don't have anything that's 3D, but it sure is a great monitor, this is my second Samsung monitor, I also have a 24" LCD. One thing I do know, Google Earth sure looks great on this monitor :-)

All in all, I think it is a pretty nice monitor, besides got a bit of a deal on it on Boxing Day when I was reading about while logged into my account, the price droped right in front of my eyes :-), so I said to myself "self, hell ye" :-).Thanks NCIX & Happy New Year

Cons: ergonmics are limited

Pros: Amazing colour, 120hz, 3d engine built into the monitor, very light and thin
Comment:
Bought this monitor primarily to play games and it fulfills this role very well. At first I thought 27" might be too big, not so, its the perfect size IMO. The 1920x1080 res on the 27" looks great and won't overwhelm your video card. Glare hasn't been an issue for me. The 3d works and is cool but I didn't buy this monitor for the 3d so it was purely a bonus. The 120hz defenitely makes a noticeable difference in games especially shooters. BF3 and SC2 look amazing on this montor. Yes this monitor costs more but you get what you pay for and if your looking for one of the best gaming TN displays, this is it. Cons: HAHAHHAHAH !

Pros: Dont know where to start , i was looking for a monitor bigger than 24 inches 120hz and 3d as soon as i stumbled upon this i purchased within 5 min. i didn't care about the price , i assumed this was normal pricing for what i was looking for . if i can afford to pay 500 for a gtx 580 i can invest 700 for a monitor to take advantage of my graphic cards. anyways , to my point ! ITS AMAZING !!! as soon as you see the box and open it u will drool. and dont get me started with the image E.V.E.R.Y. worth every dollar. i didnt know it was a series 9 until i saw it on a sticker on the base of the screen. top of the line stuff !

Cons: Price, text a little blurry

Pros: Excellent colors, Good viewing angles, no input lag in gaming, stylish
Comment:
I purchased this monitor a few weeks ago from a local computer chain, the first had a dead pixel and terrible visible backlighting so it was exchanged for a defect free monitor. The difference between the two was phenomenal so keep that in mind should yours have backlighting issues; it's not meant to be like that! 120hz Gaming is fantastic there's no bones about it. Colors are excellent and this is the first monitor I could watch a Blu-ray on and not be disappointed with the image quality. I was unable to get the software to play 3D Blu-rays but I did test 3D Gaming out a few times and I was quite happy with it. I already have a 3D HDTV but I found the experience on the monitor to be better. I am still continuously amazed at the picture quality when gaming on BF3 Beta or even Rage I don't have any doubts going for this over a Dell 27". The only con I have found on this monitor is that text isn't quite as crisp as a 24" 1920x1080 monitor. Since every other aspect is excellent I find this very easy to overlook.

Cons: Price, man it's expensiveUse displayport for 120hz

Pros: High Contrast RatioSuperb quality viewing Eye catching shape2D to 3D conversion is a lifesavercomes with wireless glasses for free!free tri-def!
Comment:
I really don't know where to begin with this monitor. I've never spent this much on a monitor , especially a 27" monitor. But I've gotta tell you, it's worth it. The 3d is superb! comes with 3d glasses so you can enjoy the thing right out of the box. I played Killzone 3 in 3D and it looked Amazing! For PC gaming it includes Tri-def 3d ( about 35$ value for free) that converts ANY game into 3D. The only draw-back is that I haven't been able to get good FPS using a 6970 and Phenom II 955be so make sure your specs kick-az. It goes to 120hz using DVI and Displayport only, not HDMI for me though. If not, you can "STILL" enjoy 3D gaming by using the 2D to 3D conversion built-into the monitor. All in all, this is an extremely good product, if you can afford it! No complains other than price. Im so happy I never wanna turn this thing off. Oh , and did I mention its display is only over 1 cm thick ? #ell yeah!

Cons: Base does not swivel

Pros: 120hz, Colors that rival IPS monitors
Comment:
I spent a couple of weeks looking for the right monitor. I tried the HP 2509b and Samsung BX2450 out. Both are decent but I kept thinking there was something better. My wallet cried out for help as I ordered this monitor and I stressed whether this would be the one since I live in NB and can't return it without more shipping costs. Luckily, this is it. Samsung promises 100% color accuracy and they get darn close. 120hz delivers smoothness that you can't get in scrolling webpages not to mention gaming. Is this monitor worth the money? To me, yeah. When I sit down to look at it, I'm happy with my purchase.

Cons: - TN panel - Backlight bleeding- Viewing angles- Color uniformity- 27" is too large for 1080p

Pros: - 120Hz- Fast response time
Comment:
I wanted a 120Hz monitor for gaming, mainly to get rid of screen tearing. I couldn't care less about 3D. I also wanted a monitor with a better response time/input lag than my Dell 2407.On that side, it works very well. Simply by moving the mouse cursor you can feel the difference. 120Hz for gaming is awesome.But.The picture quality leaves a lot to be desired. First, the viewing angles and color uniformity are pretty bad. Which I guess is to be expected for a TN panel. The one I bought had a lot of backlight bleeding too.Don't get me wrong. It's not a terrible monitor and sure has redeeming qualities but it's too expensive for the image quality you get.I give it 3 stars because as usual, NCIX customer service has been top notch.

Cons: -so glossy if you have an open window behind you, you will see it in the monitor, placement in room is important as well as time of day use. doesnt bother us but worth mentioning-a bit lower contrast ratio compared to some other monitors in lower price range-not ergonomic, no swivel, no tilt down, only tilt back-touch response buttons built into monitor(lower right bezel) could be better ie a row of buttons along top of the base of monitor stand would be preferred. I'm being really picky on this one, I rarely use the menus now that its set perfectly

Pros: -120hz in 2d-excellent colour reproduction for this type of panel-vibrant colours(gloss finish more vibrant) LED lit-1920x1080(hi def, but not so high it puts strain on gpu)-120hz in 3d, plus 2d to 3d conversion on the fly done inside monitor base, no strain on pc-27 inches-good connectivity to all devices-2ms response time-comes with 3d shutter glasses (nice ones too)
Comment:
This is all my own opinion.Ive owned this monitor pretty close to the release date back in June 2011 I believe it was. Best monitor Ive ever owned. I compare it to an Apple Cinema Display which I have a lot of experience with, of the same size (27"), this just has lower resolution and this has better connectivity and far more features. (cinema display is still a great buy as is this monitor, just saying)if your into trying 3d without the hassle of specific gpu's and kits, this is perfect, just plug and turn on 3d and it converts it, and its very good. Glasses don't darken screen as much as some other kits do. Comes with free tri def software to customize 3d experience for certain games. If your looking for good old fashioned 2d 120hz with a super nice display this is it.Biggest downside, no swivel. It bothers my wife and I, wish it would swivel so we could show each other stuff while using it at the desk and the other is on the couch. Could purchase a lazy susan but they add height and as I mentioned in cons it won't tilt down past 90 degrees. viewing angle is still very good so no problems as of now at this height. Highly recommend this monitor, if you have the cash. I love it and enjoy it immensely. The look is outstanding in the room, has a beautiful display. Everything I wanted for the price. Even the most satisfied monitor owner will be a bit envious of the features and look.
