It was a good price on sale so I got 8x GigE ports for less than some of the 5 port 10/100 switches.So far speeds has been totally stable so no complaints.Transfer speed is definitely higher than the replaced 10/100 Linksys switch from mid-90s but I don't have a second GigE device to test max sustained speed. |
$15 for an 8 port switch is pretty hard to beat, but its definitly not a speedy switch. I wouldnt recommend it if performance is really important to you, but if you just need to split your network, its an amazing value.
