Cons: DOA

Pros: Works. sort of.was pretty cheap.
Comment:
Right speaker doesn't work, appears to be AUX out on the sub woofer. I didn't pay enough to RMA it. Probably going to see if I can fix it when I get time. Headphones in the mean time. or 1 speaker if absolutely need be.

Cons: Sounds like hollow tin can at default. Can be corrected with equalizer.

Pros: Sleek design. Cheap. Compact woofer size.
Comment:
Looks much better in person than photo. I don't use high volume on woofer so can't comment no bass performance. Had to fiddle with equalizer to get satellite to sound the way I want.

Pros: good sounding 2.1 speakers
Comment:
small, clear sounding satellite speakers and an adjustable subwoofer with great bass

Cons: -No power button on the additional satellite volume/mute control between the speakers, which just means you have to reach down and flip off the sub to turn it off. This is really the only valid complaint for the entire thing to be honest.

Pros: -30 bucks-solid build quality for that price-Good rounded out sound for 2.1-Sub level is adjustable
Comment:
There's no real bad points at 30 bucks, I mean if you were paying 60 or something then maybe, but at 30 bucks that price point for a 2.1 set you're getting more than your moneys worth. This review was modfied by poster @ 07-09-13 03:31 PM

Cons: Higher and medium

Pros: Great bass, good power. Price!
Comment:
I am very impressed with the kit so far. It's loud, have killer bass and I like the design. The remote is useful, maybe a bit plastic but it works really well.I gave it 4 star because of the price mostly.. but still I compared the kit to the Creative T40 which I also own, which cost 5 times more, and the M1380 are not that far behind. T40 have richer medium and high, but M1380 is pretty decent on medium and high, and have better bass (T40 have no subwoofer but have Creative BasXPort technology built-in).I also own the Logitech X230, which I would put just almost head to head with the M1380.If you are looking for a TV upgrade or a PC setup, this kit have the best bang for the buck you can find.

Cons: Sub working at max

Pros: PriceGood sound
Comment:
Those speakers are great if you only need for surfing and a little bit music. For a price match at 35$ you cant go wrong. The only con is you have to put the sub to max level to hear it. Sound is very good.

Cons: Satellites are a bit shouty for my taste, not a system that sounds good "cranked".

Pros: Wired remote with sub level and mute, Quality sub construction. Decent sound.
Comment:
Great value. I'm finding more and more speakers at this pricepoint doing well for what they are and Edifier is no exception. One of the better built sub-$40 systems I've seen, and it's nice to see a Bandpass enclosure instead of the usual ported design. The remote is a nice feel and weight, and has rubber slip pads to keep it from sliding. The Mains are a nice size and shape, and look higher end, like a Bose design. Decent blend and range at normal levels, but gets shouty once turned up.The sub has a decent wide range and reflects the same issue at higher levels: shouty, and undefined.Nothing that isn't expected at this price though.A definite winner at $40.
