I got theses for my buddy for xmas they where easy to hook up and they sound great they are alot better then the 2.1 speakers he had.no troubles with them yet other then his wife wanting to kill me for getting them for him. |

Cons: -Subwoofer is not very powerful but works great in small areas.
Pros: -Speakers sound amazing, quality is unmatched-Price is really cheap for a 5.1 system-Subwoofer is good, quality wise, not so much a good subwoofer though (look at cons)-Cords are good lengths Comment:
I bought these as a spare set to keep around and ending up replacing me Logitech G51 set with these, which I paid a lot more for, but I did keep the G51 subwoofer.I had bought these as opposed to some other sets because I bought a USB powered 2.0 set by Edifier and they were very similar to these speakers and I was always impressed by them.I saw these on the website and figured I may as well write this.Anyway, it is a great buy. 5 Stars. i bought this thinking it was OK, i mean i was replacing ordinary 2.1 speakers, i brought it home um packed it set it up wired it all and lined it well and turns out the thing is nit even working i call the manufacturer and all they told me was to plug it in and check for the power light on the remote. when i said it wasn't going on they said I have to return it the thing is dead. very unsatisfying to open a BRAND NEW item and have it not working. Poor sound, they're made from GARBAGE. Yes, the reason they're $50 must be because they're made from garbage - open up one of the satellites, and you'll see what I mean. The sound coming out of these is just horrible by any standards, and cannot even compare with any other 5.1 system I've ever seen. The satellites are extremely weak and can barely produce any kind of tones. That's no surprise when you see what they're made of. Also most of the sound seems to be directed to the center speaker, and no amount of adjustments in the sound card driver could correct that in a satisfactory way. Out of the box, the wired control volume did not work at all. In the end, it was a big waste of time, installing these and then repackaging them for a return. I got them because I had heard good things about Edifier. However, after this experience and a closer look at this product, I have to revise my view of this brand. I do realize that these are some of their cheapest speakers, but even so, the quality was so sub-par that I will just not consider buying anything from them anytime soon. This is really a 1 STAR rating for this product (I had to select 3 cause otherwise it would not post.)
