4 ddr2 memory slot, on board graphic with HDMI/DVI/VGA output. Nevertheless have PSǘ keyboard port and internal IDE port. Also support AM3 CPU. A excellent transitional board. Possibly not be a con but a tiny bit noisy even turn on the "cool and really function" in BIOS. Not positive if it is fan's difficulty. Shouldn't be blamed for not supporting ddr3 ram mainly because for people personal ddr2, they don't require to acquire ddr3 as there are not too much difference in terms of overall performance.Not confident if it operates for six core amd cpu. |

Asus high excellent and stability. nice and easily customizable tweak choices for these that use them. Organized layout and cool colors. largely solid capacitors, am3 support. Super quick booting (night and day compared to some horrendous foxconn boards), HDMI...I mean I could go on and on. No complaints, highly advised. I'm nitpicking at this point--> only 2 pci slots and no floppy connector Went via a utter nightmare with an attempt to build a super low-cost technique with a comparable spec'd foxconn board. I will under no circumstances deviate from Asus again. They genuinely do make high high quality, stable, super fast and skilled motherboards. |

Build quality, layout, surge protection, 6 USB slots on the back panel! The metal cover board for the back panel could be created much more user-friendly for installation. 1 of the pins was bent and another was inserted into a USB slot whilst I was moving the MB to align the screw holes. It's an ASUS and performs like an ASUS. Good energy regulator and board setup. Simple replacement and upgrade from an OEM motherboard constructed with sub-par elements that has a short time until failure. The chipset even passes as a replacement OEM motherboard for most AMD OEM operating program installations with no the telephone contact to re-activate provided your dead motherboard has an AMD chipset. It's an ASUS, come on. No Cons right here. Asus has been about a lengthy time. Easy installation. ASUS reputation. Failed after about 30 days. Tech help was reluctant to repair. They wanted to blame anything but the mobo. Even hung up on me when. They ultimately repaired. Failed once more various months later with different challenge. As soon as I get it repaired once again it is going on a popular auction web-site.Also, I could under no circumstances get far more than 2 channels from the digital sound output. I purchased this in a package from NewEgg. It was my initially buy from NewEgg and the first time I built a devoted HTPC. Decent Graphics for common use, Gbit LAN, 6 SATA, compatibility, reliability, 6 core help. None. Even though, occasionally the LAN is a bit finicky soon after too quite a few successive reboots or hibernate cycles. Occasionally the audio will cut out as effectively. Straightforward repair by shutting down and turning off the power supply (or unplugging it) for 10-20 seconds for a hardware reset. -Easy to use BIOS-Constructed in surge protection (sort of)-Good expandability -Not certain if this is the board's fault, but it seems that it only permits the CPU fan to run full tilt. Thankfully, on my machine, this isn't very loud, but it is a tad annoying. I got this board as a replacement for my old board (which was fried by a surge in Snowpocalypse 2011), and it has been excellent in each and every aspect. |

much more bios selection then ive ever noticed just before! i was capable to run a 7850 blackedtion at 3.4ghz steady when no one particular says thay can get previous 3.1ghz in 32bit os! all i upgraded was my mombo and cpu, framerates went up by at least 20 to 25 and im using my same old video card!! Really like the truth the pcix1 slot is above the 16 slot now i can use it!! its a very first for me 1: my memory is listed in the book BUT i only have the 2x1gb set of kingston hyper x memory.... the board will run NOT it in dual channel UNLESS you have 4 sticks to populate all slots! this drove me nuts?!@?#!@ for a week ahead of i put both sticks on channel a and now run it in singal channel mode. it would run 800mghz stable in dual mode but trying to get it to 1066 it was never ever steady. IF YOU Already HAVE MEMORY check to make confident it will run 2 sticks of what you have! 2: the turbo increase application crashed it every single time even with stock speeds on every thing! three: IDE plug is right behind the energy and is tough to get each in right. four:THERE IS ONLY 1 PS2 PORT i have a stainless steal laser mouse and keyboard set that was 200 bucks eight years ago. had to get a adaptor to place a single of them on usb ports. 5:cmos battery is under any excellent size videocard generating for issues down the road. asus just keeps finding much better. this board is good for all kinds of points. would make a great house server with all the sata ports and gb lan! makes a seriously great crisis playing rig! |

Has all the fantastic attributes for the price. The motherboard stated that it had a hardware/software dilemma when i attempted to boot from the SATA or IDE really hard drive disk or install an operating technique.I attempted to verify if my challenging drive disks, ram, and cpu were causing the problem. They all worked properly.So in the finish, some thing was just wrong with the motherboard to exactly where I could not boot from my hard drive disks. Tried to call Asus Tech Support, but no answer.I looked for troubleshooting assist, but no luck. I seriously just want it up and running quickly, and I would appreciate any helpful replies. :)Undertaking RMA in hopes that obtaining another motherboard will operate appropriately. |

Built-in ATI 4200 is quite great once you have LCD Television setup correctly for HDMI Pc input. For 1080p, HDMI Pc input setting is various from HDMI blu-ray player input. VGA port is a little flimpsy This is an update for a 1-egg critique posted earlier. It turned out my dilemma was the LCD Television screen, not the board. Me negative. If you use HDMI to connect to Television in 1080p, you need to set the Tv's HDMI port differently from normal say PS3 HDMI input - study the Tv manual. Otherwise you get fuzzy text and jerky video. |

Soon after sending back the original a single i ordered (DOA) the second 1 performs like a charm, no issues at all. the first a single I got was DOA, hooked anything up and hit the energy button and no screen show or beeps.. But a replacement fixed that issue :). I have had this board for two months now, waited until now to write a review to see if it would last, and it did.
