appears good for the time I have been able to boot it up. couldn't get it to boot pass the express gate screen, which is the initially screen u get, but figured the trick to it. wouldn't boot. to get it boot i had to turn it on with out a tough drive plugged in to it to get to the bios, the get in the bios and turn off the express gate. Immediately after I did that it seems to operate fine.

Good Appear.Incredibly Spacious. None. I appreciate this tower. It looks excellent below my new desk in my office area at house. I loved how easy it was to match all the parts and connect them together. It has lots of space for future expansion and uncomplicated to get to the stuff.

- Unlocked 4th core!- DDR3 1800 running fine- Lots of possibilities- Exceptional value - I guess it's not a full atx? I truly have no cons for this board except i'm not a big fan of the blue. Fantastic, great motherboard for the price tag. I've been in a position to unlock the 4th core on my amd phenom II x3 and the board has lots of possibilities.I worry the user who down rated this board due to it being doa forgot to plug in his 4pin power connector.

Had an okay box dead on arrival, just like a lot of other folks had pointed out. Are they just sending the identical dead boards to whomever orders them? bought the M4A78LT-M (not the LE) and it operates fine. Also it's at the moment the exact same price tag and has an HMDI output.

Nice board for the money, but... NewEgg bundled this board (DIY combo) with the six-core AMD 1055T two.eight, a 125W processor. This board maxes at 95W. Even with the most up-to-date BIOS you get a "This CPU is not supported, please hit F1 to resume" and the boot up halts. You can disable the halt on error in the BIOS, so the factor will boot. But come on NewEgg ... bundling a CPU with a motherboard that doesn't assistance it? Terrible.

Simply OC'd my Phenom II x2 555, and unlocked all 4 cores. Overclocking my memory was a cinch as nicely. Anything worked fine out of the box. none Haven't attempted the express gate instant on linux however, but I don't seriously want it considering the boot time of my program as it is already. I very suggest this board to anyone on a price range. Even for gaming I am finding incredibly decent frame prices.

-Has fantastic onboard video-good placement of ports-straightforward to set up-ran windows 7 fine-ddr3-low-cost -onboard sound fried it's self in five days The on board sound quit in 5 days. I could have applied a sound card but you anticipate this issues to work on a new board you get. I attempted each issue to get it functioning but no can do. Either a quite undesirable driver issue of bad sound chip on the board. I had to return this board and continue making use of my older board which is less expensive but's sound functions to this incredibly day.All round? If you're okay with the sound going out, this is otherwise a good board.

Just about each OC'ing choice you would ever want in the BIOS, (including unlocking hidden cores in Phenom II Processors.) Effortless to use controls, comes with some beneficial software, - low price. Can not raise the Reference Clock above 216 or it will not previous BIOS check, can not raise it above 210 and have it load into Win 7 x64 without having freezing. Will run Orthos fine at 210, but at 211 ~ game more than. Having recognized this, I would have sported an additional ten dollars for a board that I knew would OC effectively, or pitched the further 30 for the Phenom II Calisto BE with the Unlocked Multiplier, for more than clocking. ~ - I have no complaints about this board other than this. If you want to more than clock, get a slightly greater finish Asus board. (about 10 bucks more) or sport the Phenom, ... You will not be in a position to push the Athlon II anyplace with a reference of 210... ;( Even with the ram chimed down, along with the HT multiplier and NB, (stressing the limits of the board only, and not the CPU or the RAM) it will not pass the above described statistics. There would be no explanation to have to raise voltages at this low of a multiplier. I have never ever noticed a board that I couldn't simply get to at LEAST 240 with out obtaining to even assume about touching voltages. I need to be able to get it to 250 or greater. ~ Unfortunately for me in this case, I bought a Athlon II x2 Regor 250 (locked CPU multiplier of 15x.) As a result, with the inability to raise the reference clock above 210. I get to run at a whopping 3.125ghz (versus the stock of three.000) ~ I run idle at 18c and 24c beneath full load. There is naturally a ton of space left for over clocking. Ram operating at 840x2 (DDR3 12800) and HT operating at 2100mhz no challenge.

unlocked my Ph II 555 BE to a Quad, OCs quite nicely, DDR3 1800, quite excellent board layout, stays cool even when all slots are complete. Exellent board for the budget or mini builder on board video is useless for something except web browsing (expected), could have a lot more DIMMS and PCI two. slots (well it is a mATX, right after all), cant truly push OCs as higher as I would like. When i purchased this board, i was most worried about fitting almost everything on it. Effectively, it is larger than it appears. I got a GTS 250 vid card, wireless card, and sound card to fit nicely on it Ƒ PCI, 1 PCI-e, and 1 PCI two.). You can install "tall" RAM on this board if you use a "tower" kind heat sink.

N/A N/A I was hesitant to give this motherboard a poor score after receiving a DOA a single, but I imagined that these things occur and it wouldn't be fair for me to give a bad critique. Regrettably, I was sent an additional DOA board immediately after I returned the very first. I tried just about almost everything to make the board perform in a new office personal computer, but to no avail. Receiving two dead motherboards shows me that this is a bad board or I am just incredibly unlucky. Either way, it deserves only one particular star.

This is a fantastic motherboard. Installation was painless. It was very uncomplicated to unlock my AMD x2 555 into a quad core. As a solution, it served its job as adequately as a single could expect. Even so. Dealing with the rebate is yet another matter completely. Soon after a painful trial of filling out menial forms, I was greeted to a bug in the web page that won't let me enter a valid obtain date. I attempted the D/M/Y format, but nothing. I attempted unique browsers. I even attempted this on multiple computer systems to no avail. It's surely a fault on ASUS' end. I'm largely pleased with my buy. Quality and affordability are every little thing, and even though it is nonetheless a fantastic deal, it's the principle of the matter that leaves a sour taste in my mouth like digging into a hamburger and obtaining a thick strand of hair. I most certainly will not let a rebate influence my acquire of an ASUS product once again (otherwise I would have ended up with a diverse motherboard). Ater this practical experience I am less prepared to obtain ASUS goods in the future.

Worked excellent, didn't have any concerns installing, or loading drivers. Seemed slower than the computers I make with Gigabyte motherboards. Did not take the time to run actual speed tests. I no longer purchase gigabyte motherboards as they have only one PSǘ port, so I am nevertheless hunting for a good rapid motherboard that has two PSǘ ports. Possibly I will attempt MSI.

This is a good motherboard, worked perfectly and easy to overclock. It also has the Asus core unlocker which is truly simple to use and a rapid search on the web permitted me to unlock two cores on my Phenom II x2 BE. The motherboard is nicely labeled and quickly fits into a mid-ATX tower case. There could be much more memory slots as there are only two and only a handful of pci slots. The memory actually limits your upgrade as there are only two slots. That's pretty significantly it even though, this board is excellent for common, low finish gaming computer. Extremely great overclock alternatives for an individual who does not have a excellent deal of know-how about person settings. Popped the board into an old case, added an AMD Athlon II X4 630 Propus two.8GHz, some CORSAIR XMS3 DHX 4GB ƒ x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800), plugged in a new energy provide, HDD, and a new XFX HD-489X-ZSFC Radeon HD 4890 1GB, and the machine took off operating. I could not find a better low-price solution to building a rapid gaming machine. The manual was really detailed, and proper, and I had no unanswered questions when I assembled my rig. (If you know Asus, they've at times had difficulty with manuals - not this time :-) The locations of all the elements and plugs gave me no troubles, and there seems to be lots of space for an expanded heat sink if I ever went that path. Minor, "you get what you pay for": Only 1 PCI-E slot, only two Memory slots. For a low-cost board, this is pretty significantly expected. I've only built 4 other computer systems, and I don't hold up with all the strategies and signifies of overclocking. But I assembled this machine, installed Win7, and immediately after a brief test period, set the 'automatic' overclock to ten%, and my Sandra benchmarks showed a nice, clean, across-the-board 10% speed up. The board seemed to have every single detailed O.C. setting I could want if I did choose to dive deeper in and O.C. larger.Note: Asus might have corrected this by now, but it took as well considerably of digging at Asus' web website to uncover the compatability list for this board. I assume because it was new, and was not but added to the search function of the website. It's always wise to check these lists just before deciding on other elements.

All good, decent board for a decent price. Nice space for future upgrades. I only required a 2GB DDR3 single module for now so I can continue to upgrade later to max out at 8GB. Quite decent onboard video, excellent for day to day anything. I don't game and don't ever strategy on it, but Youtube vids and streaming vid from network Television sites look fabulous over DVI to my HD monitor Board is a tiny tight, that's what you get with a micro-ATX. Largest items you ought to know - alot of men and women are prob getting problems due to the fact they don't know what they're executing. I've built myself 3 computers total in ten years and had a component in constructing a dozen additional for others, and even with that, I was stuck on why it wouldn't boot for hours. MAKE Confident YOU HOOK UP THE 24-PIN Power AND ALSO ATX12V - if you only do one particular or the other, IT WILL NOT BE Fully FUNCTIONAL. I could get it to energy on, but none of my LED lights would come on, and I couldn't energy the tower off without having unplugging it (power switch was a dead stick) - simple overlook of ATX12V that sits up near the mouse/keyboard ports. Just a heads up

If you ever obtain a item with a rebate from newegg, print out all rebate info and retain it in a safe spot, if you attempt to access it on the web a few days later, and you're in a various month, you'll get a diverse code and you're out of luck.
