Every thing included - USB 3, WiFi, eSATA, Bluetooth. Good onboard audio. Excellent layout. AMD. Runs rapid. Good BIOS choices, such as lots for keeping the fans quiet. Onboard video is solid with a excellent image. IO shield has added "shielding" for the WiFi. Very best Mini-ITX mobo I have owned (previously: Zotac and Intel). No firewire :-P, but that genuinely isn't necessary with this board. Uncommon mounting program for the SO-DIMMs, but it operates fine as soon as you figure out the right "feel" when the memory is adequately in location. Seriously nothing at all to complain about at all. I have been attempting to get a decent Mini-ITX setup to operate appropriately for a whilst now - quiet, low-power, and so on. Lastly I have discovered the best mobo. Paired with an x2 255 and Critical PC3-8500 memory, it has been a satisfying construct. Incredibly low-noise and the performance is great. No issues at all! Not at the moment utilizing the WiFi so cannot comment on that. I am getting a 2nd right after finishing this overview.

Strong mini-itx motherboard with a lot of characteristics. Creates a strong little computer. None identified. Naturally does not have the similar functionality as full sized motherboards, but offers the most flexibility and power for this size. If hunting to overclock or unlock cores; contemplate total voltage.

All the bells and whistles you believe you'd require on a compact package, you get with this. WiFi, Bluetooth, USB3., eSATA, HDMI-out... how about overclocking possibilities? This board has all of the ASUS overclocking features. It's fairly sick, really. It runs my Phenom II X6 1055t ࿿W TDP) at three.5GHz on stock voltages, steady soon after ㅆ hours of Prime95. How about a PCI-e x16 slot? Not generally identified on an itx platform. Some men and women have listed SO-DIMM has a con - why? The only thing that would make me feel of it as a con is availability, full size DIMMs are obtainable at some larger freqs. This is a fully featured mini-itx board. On the other hand, we aren't very there yet; some sacrifices had to be made... A couple of complaints that compounded to 1 egg docked:- The major 1 is only 3 SATA ports. Genuinely? There are some H55ን boards with up to SIX! Enough stated.- Some people are reporting this board to be operating hot. I'm not working with the on-board video and I'm sure that's portion of it. Nonetheless, some individuals are using 125W TDP processors with this motherboard. There's a 95W TDP limit on this point folks, no wonder you're receiving hot! You can alleviate some of the concerns about it running hot by working with some MOSFET coolers. Absolutely get some if you'll OC. I did and I haven't run into any difficulties. This is a good motherboard. If you believe you can live with the two deficiencies I listed above, I would seriously propose this board to anybody hunting at this smaller type issue.

All the functions you could want on a motherboard in a tiny package. Enabled me to put together a super small pc without possessing to go to an Atom or Neo processor. Anything went together super uncomplicated and fired correct up the very first time. None so far Some reviewers listed the fact that you have to use So-Dimm memory as a con but I was capable to pickup 4 gigs of Gskill memory for less than what regular DDR3 sdram would have cost. Will try to unlock the cores as soon as I am confident the energy supply in the case is going to deal with every little thing in stock configuration. Using the 45watt 240 E Regor CPU.

This is the board that ultimately convinced me to ditch Shuttle barebones kits for typical Mini-ITX. Combine this with a Silverstone SG05 or SG06 case, and you have a method that is roughly the size and aesthetics of the Shuttle G chassis, but with more capabilities, better upgradeability and significantly significantly less noise. For anybody wanting to run a quiet, highly effective personal computer in a modest space, this board provides a number of attributes:- Uncomplicated undervolting of CPU to lower power consumption devoid of sacrificing speed.- Fan manage in the BIOS for both CPU and case fan. CPU fan is controlled by PWM Ɣ-pin) and case fan is controlled by voltage Ɠ-pin).- Central CPU placement for far better compatibility with numerous aftermarket CPU coolers. For example, the quite wide Scythe Huge Shuriken will match with no exceeding the board dimensions and with no blocking the PCIe slot. This is not truly a fault with the board, but: The CPU socket in this board faces a different direction than some other AMD boards (although all of the AMD ITX boards appear to use this orientation). If you want to use a CoolerMaster Geminii cooler (old massive version), note that the Geminii will not mount in the appropriate direction with the stock mounting bracket. You can repair this by taking a drill to the stock bracket, or by acquiring a newer bracket. I only mention this because the Geminii is an exceptional fanless cooler for a Silverstone SG05ቢ construct. Very suggest this board for anybody seeking to see what an ITX SFF can do.

Dram voltage, cpu voltage, clock speeds and so forth.2x4gb gskill worked right away.Wireless card is amazingly fast, functions without drivers with windows 7. The space provided to place a heatsink is a bit tight, be very confident the heatsink you are hunting to use will match. The space involving the ram and gpu heatsink is about 90mm. If you want a mini-itx board for gaming, this 1 is wonderful.

This board is an superb option for any person looking to make a teeny computer system with state-of-the art tech and no compromise on features. The board features onboard Wi-Fi, bluetooth, USB 3., PCI-Express x16, a Radeon 4250 w/ HDMI, and support for the most recent AM3 CPU's. It's an incredible quantity of features and to throw on a board of this size, and items operate wonderful. The a single con of this board, whilst unavoidable with all the stuff packed on it, is that it makes use of SODIMM (laptop) memory instead of typical memory. Normally, SODIMM is a tiny additional expensive, and you can't swap back and forth between that and desktops. It's understandable on a board of this size with this several characteristics, but the truth remains. I am making use of this board in an Antec ISK-300 Mini-ITX case. It was a bit of a discomfort to set up in this case simply because the power cable inside of the case didn't really attain the ATX power connector on the motherboard. Soon after flipping about the power board inside the case, I was capable to get it to perform, but the cables are broken every single time I open/close the case (electrical tape is my friend, now). Just retain that in thoughts if that's what you determine to get as a case for the issue. Also, I did not have any luck with the CORE UNLOCKER feature of the board with my Sempron 140 - the machine did not POST right after enabling it. Could just be that my Sempron 140 was certainly a single of the negative ones, though.

This board rocks!!! It has an amazing spec sheet for a board this small: USB 3., core unlocking and overclocking alternatives, PCI-e x16 slot, DDR3, bluetooth, integrated wireless and on and on. But most of all, mini-ITX signifies smaller ... less than 7" x 7" !But really, size is why you obtain this board. It's the most potent, most fully featured AMD board you'll come across in a mini-ITX board. Don't listen to the hater who can only overclock his AMD X4 620 from 2.6 to 3. GHz. He OC'ed a 95W CPU 15% past its rating on a 95W motherboard. And he's crying simply because ASUS prevented a meltdown. Poor child. With my 5830 sticking precariously off the board and a western digital 500gb blue drive and 350w antec 80+ flex atx PSU all hot glued to a micro atx removable motherboard tray im a satisfied dude. My Lenovo mini wireless keyboard mouse is a nice addition. Getting in a position to get to the spot and plug in just energy and hdmi, priceless!!!! And i can bluetooth the audio output to my stereo if the tv is not loud sufficient. This point rocks. ummm, ahhh, not sufficient sata's? How a lot of drives can you cram into an itx case.? I've utilised 3 tops without having possessing an optical drive which, lets be truthful, is not required anymore. You can constantly get a dual 2.five" to single 3.5" raid enclosure, or a 4x2.5" to single five.25" raid enclosure if your gonna go nutty on ssd's. Sick of individuals on here complaining about points they know about, instead of getting complaints about items that actually don't work adequately like my m3a78-t motherboard. Now that's garbage! I've been waiting for this for over two years. A AMD itx with a pci-e 16x slot. I was put off by AM3 and so-dimm, but its sooooo significantly far better and much more effective as well. Had an Atom 330, *B S* northbridge and no h.264 offload with PCI, settled for Zotac AM2 geforce 6100 itx for awhile but nonetheless couldn't playback 1080p video appropriately. This does and its brilliant and i love it. Get a single, buy two, they are great!

Wow. basically awesome. Got this board for a CarPC with a 250 watt M4-ATX energy supply and a Sempron 140 CPU. Got to unlock the second Core in the CPU with this board. Incredibly steady. The bluetooth drivers beneath Windows 7 Property Premium 32 bit are type of unstable. Occasionally the bluetooth shows up. occasionally it does not in device manager.Wifi variety is not as great as other devices. And I have the antenas high up. The antenna cables are incredibly quick (about two feet only) All round for the cost I would have anticipated for the wifi and bluetooth to operate a little much better. Provided the CPU I utilized and the capability to unlock the extra core I was satisfied and particularly satisfied. The bluetooth is helpful for me to techter to my blackberry for online access on the go. But for the wifi range. sort of sucks. See if you can get a pair of longer cables for the wifi antennas and use to extend the range. May support.

Havn't owned it terribly extended, but so far it's really steady. I really like when a person tries to pack lots of characteristics into a tiny device, and it functions! the wireless operates better than most of my other wireless choices. Has bluetooth, usb three., PCI-e x16, good chipsets. aesthetically not the prettiest of motherboards due to the cramped capabilities but it's nevertheless got a lot of black and blue which is what I appreciate about ASUSIn other words, it has many uses, and would makes a great residence theater method or possibly even a test bench create. My northbridge runs a wee bit hot, antennas are quick, but not sufficient to whine about. Great feature set for such a smaller board. I haven't even begun to use all of the capability. I use it with a Foxconn RS233 case and seems to work properly. I purchased it to use as an HTPC platform. There appears to be an concern getting audio out of the HDMI port whilst playing a movie. When playing a movie making use of a DVD player, audio is stereo. When playing a film off of the HD, there is no audio at all. I assume this is SW, and I'm still trying to repair. Seems to be a pretty properly identified bug with the HD4250 chip set. If the audio difficulty can be fixed it will make a excellent HTPC platform.

If you are searching for an ITX board to home a low-wattage multicore AMD processor, there is not a lot of option, and I had no difficulty picking this board. It comes with a lot of features, and also with a lot of control switches, each on the board and in the BIOS (somewhat confusing), but setting it up with Athlon II X3 400e was no difficulty at all, and housing in Antec ISK 310-150 was difficult but doable. On prolonged use with HDTV, the internal CPU and system temperatures hover around 50 C. The integrated graphics delivers for a incredibly sharp and bright image with bold colors, both on digital panel and HDTV, even though some color tweaking might be essential. With Win7 Home running off a small SSD, the program is incredibly responsive general and has no sleep problems. This board is capable of a lot far more than it does in my method, but so far I am pleased. With socket AM3 it is also open to future processor upgrades. Not seriously a con, but the unconventional placement of the 24-pin power and the 4-pin power sockets make it hard to attach the energy connectors in the Antec ISK series instances. An extension in turn complicates the cable management, which is already difficult due to modest space. Also, when the processor is overclocked, the POST time increases to practically two minutes. These are, nonetheless, minor caveats. Encouraged! I also welcome the notion of making use of laptop style memory in ITX boards.
