Make went good. I used Gskill ripjaws with the tall heatfins for ram and they fit excellent and did not get in the way of the heatsink or cpu fan. The express gate function is nice if you need to have to get on the internet speedily. With express gate you can be on the web inside two-three seconds immediately after pushing the power button. The manual could have been a lot far better. This was my initial construct and I wasnt confident where to plug everything, the manual didnt have newbies in mind.I also lost power even though installing win7 and this brought on the BIOS to modify where it booted from for some cause. I was obtaining the "BOOTMGR MISSING press CTRL+ALT+DEL" message. I referred to as Asus C.S. for assist and waited for 30 minutes only to be transfered and put back on hold. I gave up on C.S. and identified the fix myself on youtube in five minutes..... So minus one particular egg for sitting on hold for so long for absolutely nothing.

Good layoutAll the O.C. capabilities and "Turbo Key" that the owner (of the Computer) will Never ever use, or recognize what they're for. Up to 16 gigs of memory (seems like overkill, but do as you like)Mem OK function is Super good, I just hope I under no circumstances have to use it. EXPRESS GATE!! This feature is LAME, and when I disabled it in the Bios, the pc wouldn't boot. I initially thought it was a hard put on problem. Following a few hours of messing with the computer system....TADA...I HAVE TO HAVE THE EXPRESS GATE ENABLED....so now each time that I start out the computer I have to appear at the E.G. screen!! DUMB! (I set it to show for 1 second, comes set at ten seconds). The E.G. difficulty really just got me all wound up! E.G. give you Internet access prior to O.S. loading, but you have to be Hardwired to your router/modem. I don't know how effectively it functions, or not, due to the fact I was hooked up wireless. It appears that "features" like EG ought to be able to be turned off W/O turning your MOBO into garbage!

Everything about it, Amazing battery life, fantastic efficiency core i3 is ideal for me, appear is amazing brushed aluminum look is cool. All about excellent, ASUS did it again. Bloatware was kinda undesirable, But I place in a 7200Rpm HD appropriate off the bat so it was excellent for me

I usually use msi boards but this asus board impressed me and fit the bill. Has a BIOs setup similar to that of higher finish boards. Want additional fan headers. Adore the profile saving function.

Excellent board, really user friendly. Great interface and easy to understand. I like the core unlocker tool, and the built in GPU is excellent for the cost I will most likely upgrade the GPU in the future, but this will do for now. I bought this board to ultimately upgrade to the AMD 6 core proc in the future and I like the 4 memory slots. Wonderful board for a wonderful price tag, but I don't know why I did not find an ASUS board that also had USB3! As I replaced my old board, which served me properly, I see it was also an ASUS!

anything started out fine but then blue screened.it would reboot run for 3 min and blue screen .and now it want do anything but beep it died following 5 hrs of use

the usual Asus top quality, lots of attributes for a low finish MB.bought for a consumers construct, and didnt even contemplate worrying about it not operating. running for about 2 1ǘ months now with no complaints. Does everything you can want for an onboard video sort technique! umm....lemme believe! NONE I construct custom systems and give a 1 year warranty on my builds. Working with excellent parts by Asus and other companies I have no worries about having alot of service calls from my prospects.......it pays to get excellent high quality components mainly because I win and so do my customers

none genuinely grat board function wonderful has a core unlocker and its simple to unlock processor just keep tapping four on commence up hold 16gb of ram how can i caomplane i had a lil challenge with it if multiplier is going beneath and bottle necking ur processor like mine was 1 min i have 3.2ghz multiplier x17 than next min to 800mhz an multiplier x4 than the only point i discovered out that function is turn of ur cool and rather for some reason i never had the issue agane and also im operating a 550 psu with 32v on the 12v rail i even known as asus and thay didnt even knwo what was careing that thay couldnt help me at all how can u have tech assistance for motherboard when thay dont even knwo what thay are carrying out i tell u what are thay just picking ppl off the side of the street hears a job and talk to them and act stupied but point job i have been useing asus evey since i been constructing computer system and thats has been 13 years know so a lil information hear tehre and evey eware get u seriously far it couldent be easer than it all ready isthats for shere asus requirements to get soem real tech assistance and commence performing there job

This is a fantastic motherboard with many characteristics. Mine has two USB-3 ports on the back like on the picture but the documentation only talks about USB-two. Anything worked appropriate away. The CPU and case fan manage options could be much better. The BIOS menus are not as fantastic as other but it works. The little heatsink on the northbridge gets actually hot.

Great Board. IDE, 6 sata, USB 3., core unlocker. Amazing price tag No devoted memory for the video. Doesnt truly matter mainly because I purchased a separate video card. Asus is my favorite MB manufacturer

none I had to RMA it for it was not reading my cpu pins immediately after 3 months. I RMA it I sent it they did not cover it for minor I mean Minor burnt traces. They had been actually little. They have horrible support they didn't even care to spell my name appropriate. ASUS sucks

Everything functions wonderful on the board. Just look at the specs, it's all there...Price tag is appropriate too. SATA connectors are on the bottom proper where there is no standoff/screw to help the board when pushing them in. I guess this is fairly prevalent with mATX boards , but nonetheless a bad style IMHO.. I may well be receiving a different a single of these to develop a HTPC...

The board has been quite stable, I haven't encountered any stability difficulties. The core unlocker worked perfectly for my 3.three ghz athlon 3 core. I just pushed the quantity four on startup and every thing was taken care of with a speedy restart, it was genuinely effortless. The power and IDE ports are in awkward locations in my case but some tight fits are to be expected in a micro atx case I suppose. I believed the onboard graphics could be able to tide me more than for a even though for gaming... I was wrong. It worked fine for hd video but left for dead on quite low settings nonetheless couldn't break 40 fps. I now have a 5770 which has worked out nicely.

Got this for an HTPC setup. Almost everything functions wonderful except what I say in the "cons" section. I have this paired up with Win7x64, 8GB memory, and a Phenom 555. If you require a simple and stable MB this would be a excellent selection. I could not watch Netflix or Hulu with no tons of stutter. I could watch HD Tv just fine with a tuner card. I have tried every thing to fix the Netflix and Hulu, I even bought an Nvidia GT430 thinking it may well be the video card. That wasn't a fix either. The only thing that fixed the problem was turning off all power saving setting in the BIOS. So now I get much more fan noise since the MB will not power down the CPU. I have tried almost everything else I could assume of and this was the only fix. Well, besides swapping CPUS. So I have narrowed it down to either the MB or CPU. Your luck may well be greater.Could not unlock the Phenom 555 at all without having vibrant pixelation in Netflix and Hulu, once again HD Television was fine. So I am not downgrading for that at all, mainly because we all know it seriously is a roll of the dice.

Purchased with AMD Phenom II X6 1090T three.2 and G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB. Simply overclocked processor to 3.5. BIOS is straightforward to realize and has quite a few fantastic possibilities. My memory was recognized as 1333 instead of 1600 and the timings required a little modification, but nothing too difficult. Not a major deal but the original case fan I have needs a energy connection from the motherboard, but this board has only the one for the CPU fan. A lot more the instances fault in my opinion. Wish it had USB 3.. BTW the picture is incorrect! but the specs didn't say something about it so I didn't think it had it. Would advise this board for any individual seeking for a great micro ATX.

Employing this for a budget HTPC and it has handled every little thing I've thrown at it. Uncomplicated to setup; haven't attempted the overclocking/unlock attributes yet. With a X2 3.1GHZ, 2GB of 1333 and the on-board HD4250 it plays streaming media without having troubles. Runs cool. Don't plan on working with any USB accessories, so the lack of USB3 isn't an concern. Only messed around for an hour or so but I haven't been in a position to get the optical audio to function though utilizing the HDMI for video. I just unplugged the optical and am working with the HDMI for audio at the moment, but I won't subtract an egg for my laziness and impatience. Enjoy ASUS. Not certain I'll ever buy another brand of motherboard.
