Cons: mATX/ max 8GB DDR3 RAM/ 256MB onboard GFX *no Hybrid SLI

Pros: Lots of options/ Cheap
Comment:
Bought this for a tiny bugdet build and was surprised at home many options, ports and abilities this thing has. RAID, ol' PATA, overclocking and multiple USB expansion onboard. Paid $65 and thought buying the second cheapest motherboard would be a mistake but this ASUS mATX is a stealth winner! The board is clean and pleasing to look at if using a window, also, graphics upgrades won't be hindered by poor component placement, which are usually SATA connectors. Running this with an AMD 260 Athlon II, x1 600GB PATA HDD, x1 4GB Corsair DDR3 and a PATA DVD burner on a 300watt PSU; it's not too tasked yet but adding a graphics card may tip the scale!

Cons: Lacks features

Pros: Good cheap choice for an economy board
Comment:
It works flawless. But lacks HDMI or any digital outputs so if you are planning to use this as a Home Theater PC you will need to add a soundcard and videocard. By the time you add thise items I would suggest stepping up to a better motherboard. But for a basic pc it's a great choice. Can't be beat for the price. It also has a low power supply need. Works with G.SKILL Ripjaws X F3-10666CL9D-8GBXL 8GB 2X4GB DDR3-1333 CL9-9-9-24 Memory. Looks pretty good and has decent features for the its low price. Comes with 2 black sata cables and 1 IDE cable. The sata cables do not have a locking mechanism. Very good cheap board if you don't need all the bells and whistles This review was modfied by poster @ 07-10-11 09:55 PM
