Cons: Pricey.!

Pros: Very fast,2GB ram, can handle pretty much everything, run very cold, lots of potential to OC.
Comment:
I bought this to replace my old HD4870 512MB, and let me tel you this card is a BEAST, video rendering 3X faster than my previous card. Games, SC2 everything Ultra + AA at 1920 X 1080 average fps 94, ofcourse it goes down to 25 when 200-300 or more unit are up, the other games absolutely flawles 130+ fps. Love how it does run cold and quiet, also it has so much tweaking OC potential (NO NEED FOR NOW).Absolutely I higly reccomend it.CheersMarco

I want to replace my Gigabyte HD4870x2, and its looks like the best quality/price choice in the 2GO rang cards.

Cons: Power hog when overclocked, and even then a single card isn't fast enough to play most games at max settings. Fan is loud at max speed. Price premium is not well justified.

Pros: Solidly built, enough RAM to run Eyefinity setups, and definite room for overclocking past stock speeds due to voltage tweaking.
Comment:
I purchased this card as a replacement for another 5870 that I had RMA'd and had been backordered. I mainly wanted to get this because of the 2GB of RAM and the overclocking potential as claimed by reviews found online. The card certainly works solidly at reference speeds and has the potential to overclock very well with the ASUS iTracker2 software. I found the software to be quite buggy, however, as it created flickering on screens after it was installed. Still waiting on ASUS to fix this up before I will go back to using the software as opposed to Catalyst. Unfortunately, without the software, the voltage cannot be tweaked, which takes away one of the huge selling points of this card.Overall, a very good card, but not really sure if it's worth the premium you're paying as other 5870's can be had for $100 less with no appreciable drop  in performance. However, if you have eyefinity and am willing to crossfire (VERY expensive), the extra 1GB of RAM will help a lot.
