This is a great router for 3G stick owners, provided your stick is supported. Only a handful of sticks are supported (the Netgr site doesn't list any supported CDN providers, this is incorrect), most keys sold in 2009 are supported, but newer models are not!! Ex. Rgrs MF668, Tls E182E, etc. Make SURE your key is supported before you buy, although this company is also good with returns. Some older keys (MF636) have new firmware. DO NOT FLASH YOUR SUPPORTED KEY WITH NEW FIRMWARE!! IT will likely not work with this router anymore.

I really glad that I made this purchase. I am able to have more than one system logged into the internet wireless card.

No support for Canadian Providers. Doesn't make sense to sell this product in Canada for Canadians.

Overall I think the idea of this card is amazing and was thrilled when it arrived. It felt like Christmas morning when the package arrived. But then if felt like no stores were open and the batteries were not included. I was very disappointed to learn that my new 3G card (AT&T USBConnect Quicksilver) is not supported. You need to verify (at dot netgear dot com slash 3g) to verify if your 3G card is supported.

I have owned this for almost a year now with flawless results. I love this router. I used to loose my 3g connection constantly while plugged into my laptop. With this I never loose my connection. I use it every day in my work truck. I love it.

Bought one of these and it worked good for a few weeks. The it began to drop the connection. Tech support is useless with the problem. Even if you can understand what they are saying, they don't have a clue how to correct the problem. They had it where no computer would connect even if it was working. Netgear would not work to correct the problem and basically said it's my problem and they stopped responding to my requests for assistance. Finally refused to stand behind their product and do the right thing. I cannot recommend anyone buy this product.

it was working good for a while, until after a few months, internet was getting slower and slower. and I can't really download because it cuts off.

For the price this is a very good unit! So many folks have 3G cards and this is really a great way to use your card to supply internet and networking. I originally purchased it to put up in a cabin to provide wired and wireless networking but purchased another and mounted it in my work vehicle to provide wireless access any time I'm in the vehicle. A nine-dollar adapter works great, mount the unit and just plug in the card. You now have a very nice internet access point that you can show up on a jobsite with and have full access for everyone. Also the router is pretty basic not too bad. Range is not too bad either but for around $100 bucks, you just can't complain. Works fine for PS3 and VPN connectons also. You just can't go wrong for the cost. Easy to set up and brainless to operate. Uh, plug in the modem and press the button, even my granny can do it. I'm using a Sierra Wireless Compass 597 with it. If it works with your laptop, it works with this router!

Had wireless at home; a data card for my laptop; wife had built in data card; have apple tv; wanted wireless at second home; was paying too much for internet. What could I do? Saw ad so I thought if this works at home with my apple tv etc. I could cancel one internet provider. It worked so well that I bought one for second home. Now I have the convenience of wireless at 2 homes and on the road with one provider.

I was disappointed that this was sold on the Canadian website but does not have support for the Canadian service providers. Support on Netgear website is for USA and Australia only.

Works great. Can't believe the AT&T's of the world don't have a problem with this. We travel a lot and have 2 computers and now both of us can be on internet at once. Only problem I had was installing password but eliminated that by using their default feature...

Router works as advertised for broadband internet. It takes about 15 min. to setup. Fairly easy to use. Still has some known issues. I have a PS3 and it works great, except when I download games and updates, they are corrupt. Also has trouble with wireless brother printer HL4070CDW. You can set up the printer with some degree of difficulty, but then it starts printing intermittently. Everything else seem to works fine. If these issues are resolved it's a five star item.

This wireless router was incredibly easy to install. I was up and running in 10 minutes. The switch is very fast compared to my old 'B'. I am very happy with the remote usb connector for the aircard, it helps prevent static noise heard over the computer speakers.
