These are really small, but they can be perfect for some Vreg cooling or 2 side by side on memory. Mine are on a VREG plate. |

I have cleaned my vrm's properly , the mosfets seat very well with the stock thermal pad they came with, I have no problem with them. I am gonna get another couple sets soon. |

As soon as you get these remove the pads and apply your own TIM like Artic Silver Thermal Adhesive. The pads aren't very strong. |

While these seem to be great coolers, the fact that the do not stick to the MOSEFSTS are a huge draw back. If the thermal tape was better these would have gotten a 5/5 from me. |

I put theses on my mosfets since vregs on my motherboard can get hot.. It is worth getting them if your mobo does not have vreg heatsinks and you plan on overclocking. |

I put theses on my moobo mosfets.. since I ve read that the ds3 vregs can get hot while watercooling sinces its discoloured behind the vregs on some guys board... nice to use if your mobo does not have vreg heatsinks and you plan on overclocking. |

These are rather nicely machined and they seem to do a decent job with heat removal.The tape used on these is useless and I had to use superglue to make them stay. The poor thermal tape is a long known issue at Swiftech and they should just scrap the tape and include a small tube of Arctic Silver Adhesive. I thin 5 bucks would be a better price for these and if a little Arctic silver was included about 8 bucks. But I needed these so whatcha going to do? |

Quite happy with these heatsinks, they fit nicely on my 8800GTS, though you could use them on mobo mosfets as well. They designed nicely for tight fits, and the fins on them are quite thin (yet plentiful) so they offer good heat dissapation. ;-) |
I have purchased many of these, and although on the expensive side they really do reduce the temperatures. My mosfets went from 55c on the surface to 40c. Adding a little fan like the kaze 40mm drop s the temperatures even lower to 35c (19 ambient). I like a 20c drop in temps, keeps things running a lot cooler.
