Cons: Does not work with 3.3V drives, 5V only! This should be in the product title!

Pros: Might work. I don't have a 5V drive to test it on.
Comment:
Make sure your SSD is a 5V part before ordering this product. It does not work with 3.3V parts. Hopefully I didn't damage my drive See the tech specs on startech's website: http://ca.startech.com/Cables/Drive/Micro-SATA/12in-Micro-SATA-to-SATA-with-LP4-Power-Adapter-Cable~MCSATAF20
