Cons:
doesn't impress the girls
Pros: small, quiet, works great, set up in seconds right out of the box |

Cons:
Lil tick in my opinion.
Pros: lots of mounting option. Comment:
Swiftech dont provide any GTX460 plate yet ( 2-3 weeks ETA ). But i modded the GT200 plate and now its cooling my SLI GTX460. Keeping these cards under 45°c event at 1.2v flashed bios and 950mhz. |

Cons:
might have to modd you ram heat sinks if you use larger tubing... (as they are often found right infornt of the chip too..).. or just buy low profile coolers for those ones
Pros: nice design, compatible with alot of video cards.. (just measure distance in core mounting screws: on the PCB of your GPU) Comment:
backward compatible with all my gpu's great addition to my wc loopmight not appeal to those who want to see the water run through the block. all in all good deal for for PM and no need to fetter or galvanic corrosion as the MAIN cooling component is clearly listed as copper |
alright, I bought this because NCIX never has any EK water blocks for the gtx 480 anymore. I paired it with the swiftech gtx480-hs, the 480-HS comes with a mountin plate, that converts the mcw-80 to fit the gtx 480, I didn't have to change anything, just opened the package, screwed it to the mounting plate and put it on the video card, very simple straight forward, not only did it make my pc a lot more quiet, but it brought the idle temps down to 32c, my cpu sits at 30c, I have six yate loon 120mm 1350rpm fans in push pull config on my swiftech mcr320 radiator, and while playing games or running heaven bench mark 2.1 the gtx480 doesn't go above 40c, a lot better then the stock cooler that went up to 70+ while playing mw2... I would recommend it no matter what, whether it be price matched or reg price, at $54.99 its a bargain, and the swiftech gtx480-hs is only $49, it's $15 cheaper then the EK water block, that they never have in stock.
