Cons: - For the price... none

Pros: - Nice Picture Quality- Low Price- Good performance- Front Facing Camera for Skype
Comment:
So far this has proved to be a great tablet for my daughter. We live two provinces apart and thus use our handhelds and tablets in order to communicate via Skype. Would definitely purchase again.

Pros: GREAT PRODUCT

This is my first tablet and I love it. It is very responsive and the screen is bright. The battery lasts a long time doing every day tasks. The memory slot is a big plus and you can't beat the price. I find the tablet very easy to hold.

Cons: Cheap, glossy plastic build. LCD blooming around edges.

Pros: Affordable. Sharp display. Good performance for price. MicroSD expandable. Useful Android customizations.
Comment:
There's nothing all that remarkable about the Asus MeMO Pad HD 7, aside from its $149.99 (list) price. But when you combine that with what is essentially a first-gen Google Nexus 7 and throw in a rear-facing camera and microSD card slot, you're left with a fairly compelling package. Like any budget tablet, the MeMO Pad HD 7 is about compromise, but it makes the right compromises at the right price.

Cons: -A little heavy (mainly notice while using in bed)-Screen is hard to read books (like Kindle/Kobo) even when dimmed all the way and with black background/white text option if reading with no ambient light (in the dark in bed, for example)

Pros: -Feels solid-Beautiful Screen-Handles everything I throw at it-OS operates nicely, well thought out-Speakers are more than adequate for use-Power saving options add nice auto or custom management of your power use

Never thought I would enjoy a tablet as much as I have with this one! My original reason for purchase is I am taking two long plane trips soon so I wanted something to keep me entertained. I was originally looking at getting a full windows 8 tablet because I didn't think the android games could keep me entertained, but I was wrong there.Worried about the processing power but so far it has taken everything I throw at it, including a town simulation game where it's running lots of AI and animation. I watch a lot of AMV (Anime Music Videos) and it plays them beautifully (mp4, mpg, avi, xvid, wmv)with a sound that I'm quite happy with (beats my phone out of the water). WARNING: Plays videos so well you'll be up all night watching "just one more episode" of your favourite series! There is no cheap plastic like I read in some reviews online and the unit feels solid, if a little heavy to hold up in bed while gaming (nothing a pillow can't help). The power saving options let you pick performance or power saving modes, and gives you the opportunity to prioritize some functions over others if you want a more custom running machine. Battery will go down quickly on full brightness while playing a complicated game, but has more than enough juice to watch a few hours of shows or read an entire book (or it seems that way, I haven't done this myself yet). I didn't think I'd be this satisfied with an android tablet, and I really didn't expect to be this blown away with the hardware in this price point. If this tablet is as well made as my ASUS laptop then it's more than worth it's price. I don't know if I'll buy a tablet again, for now this fits the bill (and I won't be out too much cash if I drop  and wreck this one, or forget it in a foreign country as I expect I'll do in the short future). If you're thinking about a tablet, but aren't sure if you'll really use it, if you'll wreck it or if you'll even like it, start with this one. Games I've tried (all with no performance issues so far):Plants vs ZombiesTownsmenAdventure BarDumb Ways to DieMy Little PonyHave yet to try a high graphic MMORPG.

Cons: * Back not textured, can feel a bit 'slippy' at times* Annoyingly, the home screen does not automatically flip horizontal!

Pros: * Excellent wireless streaming of video even with a weakened signal away from my AP.* Very quick and smooth browsing.* I like the heft and (comparative) thickness, it's light enough for extended holding but unlike the new Nexus does not feel as if a strong breeze would blow it out of my hand.* Fits neatly in my jeans' back pocket or in my suit jacket's inside pocket.* Conveniently charges via USB!* Pops up quickly as a drive when connected to PC* The screen is best-in-class and better than many more expensive tablets. For video and images I find it simply crisply wonderful.* Performance is smooth and speedy. I don't play games so I guess it's the gamers who are whining about this tablet being a slow one.* Screen is bright enough to read on a sunny day outdoors once you keep it in shadow and turn up the brightness.* 16 GB is good storage, but if you consume lots of video it fills fast. Another 32GB in the microSD slot is perfect!* Supernote - Finally I can diagram anywhere.
Comment:
I've had it for 3 days, but in that time I've traveled with it, read PDFs and watched video in various lighting conditions, and stress tested it for movie streaming. No complaints and for the price I'd buy again and highly recommend it to anyone else. And if you never thought you'd need a tablet, this sweet device is such an great value, you can't go wrong.

Cons: not nexus tablet

Pros: Pricing, basic feature.
Comment:
Nothing beats this unit in terms of value. Those that want faster and more powerful tablet, Nexus is still the better unit.but for 159, hard to beat.

Cons: Lock button too close to volume button. I often lock instead of increasing the volume. Hopefully I'll get used to this soon. Charging through either USB 2.0 or USB 3.0 takes quite a while. 3% increase in battery charge after 20 minutes compared to plug which gave %14 after 20 minutes. More issues in summary.

Pros: Decent screen and fairly fast.
Comment:
Hardware design could have been better. Also charging using USB is slow, plug it in to a wall for faster charging.Despite the amount of customization available, there are several minor issues and lack of features that I found to be incredibly annoying.-Status bar clock and drop  down menu clock occasionally does not update  properly, so most of the time, you'll have to exit your app to view the time unless your app includes a clock.-No back to top option at all. Tapping the status bar in iOS returns you back to the top of the page.-Not enough levels of backlight. The lowest backlight level is still too bright.-Fixed levels of volume control.-Uninstallable bloatware unless you root your device.-Slow responsiveness to switching orientations. Both going from landscape to portrait and vice-versa. This review was modfied by poster b 09-13-13 04:15 PM This review was modfied by poster @ 09-13-13 04:40 PM
