Cons: -Terrible fan clips

Pros: -Great mounting system, very sturdy-Great performance-Includes high-end thermal paste
Comment:
The included fan clips are very poor quality imo and they don't flex enough to fit snugly onto the side of the cooler where the ridges are. I wish they would have included better fan clips on this, my only gripe about it.Installing the cooler itself wasn't so bad and was pretty simple. The mounting system for the heatsink is very nice and makes me feel confident that it's in place and not going anywhere.

Cons: Fans not included

Pros: Much smaller than Noctua D14. High cooling efficiency
Comment:
Replace the Noctua D14 installed on ASROCK Z68 Extreme. The D14 covers the PCIex1 and the 4 DIMM slots. With this CPU heatsink, I can use the PCIex1 slot and the ram cooler. This cooler perform slightly better than D14 and takes less space. i2500K OC to 46 multiplier and still under 60 degree with prime95.Highly recommend this CPU heatsink.

Cons: - None really

Pros: - Looks good- Mounting system- Performs well
Comment:
Got one of these cooling a 2600K. Bought it to compare to my Corsair H70. The temps are only a couple degrees warmer at full load, and basically the same at idle or under light work load. So far very happy with it. The mounting system is simple but very effective! Would buy again without a doubt. Great value when you get it on sale for $40 that's for sure!!

Cons: Heavier than recommended

Pros: Good packagingIncluded thermal paste (PK-1?)Nifty fan clips
Comment:
Installed on 1155 socket. Easy installation. Slapped on 2 Arctic Cooling F12 PWM fans. Clips fit perfectly. Used my remaining Arctic Silver 5 instead of the included stuff. There is no labelling on the thermal compound to tell you what it is exactly. I can only assume it's their PK-1.

Cons: No fans included

Pros: Looks good, great price:performance ratio
Comment:
Mounting the cooler was easy, except for the part where the mounting system is actually quite loose until you install the heatsink. It would also be nice if this included two sets of fan clips. Regardless, performance is great, and if you have a windowed case, this comes with a cool design on the top.

Cons: Not the bestDoesn't come with fans

Pros: LooksCooling
Comment:
This thing looks as good as it cools, while it won't give you the lowest possible temperatures of all the coolers, it still with 1 or 2 degrees. It doesn't come with fans though so you'll have to buy your own.

Cons: None?

Pros: Easy installation, good cooling performance
Comment:
I think I may have messed up when applying my thermal grease on my CPU because my idle temps on the stock core i7 930 is about 30 degrees, and other reviews have shown you can get it down to about 25 degrees or even less on idle (I'm using 2 Scythe S-Flex 1200rpm fans in a push pull configuration). I'm using the thermal grease that came with this cooler because it's allegedly better than arctic silver 5, so I'm not sure if it's because of the type of thermal compound used or because I just used too much of it. Actually I reapplied it once, the first time I was idling at 34 degrees by just drawing a single line of grease down the middle of the CPU and then 'tinting' the heatsink itself. On my reapplication I spread the compound in a thin layer over the CPU and then drew a line down the center for the cores, this worked better but apparently it's still not ideal. If I would do it all over again I might just wear a glove or something (because I find the credit card method tends to scrape stuff away) and smudge a really thin layer of compound on the heatsink and the cpu cover, that might work best). With that said, the installation for this thing is incredibly easy, in fact it's easier than installing the stock intel heatsink in my opinion (though it has more steps). At no point did anything require a lot of work to fit, everything just felt like they clicked into place like the way they're supposed to. Most importantly it comes with 2 sets of fan clips (the older revisions only comes with 1) and does not come with any fans.

Cons: - No fan included.

Pros: - Great cooling performance.- Excellent mounting system.
Comment:
The NCIX product description on this seems to have been revised at some point. It was originally said to have included a fan, but that was removed recently. The one I received did not include a fan so I used a Scythe S-FLEX 1600rpm fan on it.The mounting system and cooling performance on this is fantastic. It is heavy so I'm a little concerned that I might warp my motherboard over time, but I'm keep an eye on it and so far it seems fine. The heatsink large enough that it may overhang the RAM slots on some motherboards, but RAM with ordinary heatspreaders will fit underneath. Tall heatspreaders like the Corsair DHX could be a problem, however. The version I received included two sets of fan clips which as also nice. As mentioned above the NCIX product description with regards to the accessories included seems to change from time to time, so the experience of others may vary.

Cons: did not come with anti vibration strips

Pros: hefty, looks cool, performs, good price
Comment:
I would've expected this to have anti vibration strips, but I didn't check to see if it did. NCIX description on the product is completely wrong, but most people ordering this should already know that. A good performer despite all that, just like in the reviews.
