I really like this keyboard so far...I feel like it could take a few punches from a frustrated user and keep on ticking.I wish the arrow keys weren't squashed into the layout like they are, but the tradeoff is a lot less desk space used. Overall, a really nice feel to the MX Black's, not too loud, but nice and responsive. Very happy with it.

This thing is build like a tank and feels like it will never break. Also looks decent with the small red highlights. To fit the numbers on the right on this, they squished the arrow keys , so hitting the question mark button is really odd. It becomes a nuisance a lot of the times. Although this gets the job done, i'd recommend a different keyboard

The Cherry MX black switches are great, but there's a reason this keyboard's so cheap -- its layout is way less usable than most keyboard these days. No windows key, moved home block, squished together directional keys. These things really ruins an otherwise very satisfying typing experience. I'd just pay $20 or so more for a Steelseries 6GV2.

This is a no frills mechanical keyboard. I love it because of its compact size. If you are looking for a compact keyboard with number pad, this may be the one for you. However, some things that you should be aware.- Backspace is one key size instead of two in other keyboards.- Some key placement may be annoying for some but doesn't bother me, as I'll get used to them.However, overall this is a solid keyboard. Its heavy and feels very solid. I love the cherry black switches, but just wish the backspace key was a bit bigger.

This is a GREAT little keyboard, but it's not everyone. With a keyboard like this it's really important to do your research before buying, because a lot of the "features" of this keyboard are things that might turn others off.- This is a *COMPACT* keyboard (~38.5cm across)Personally, I was looking for a small keyboard because I keep my keyboard and mouse on a sliding keyboard tray under my desk. My old keyboard wasn't leaving much room for my mouse. The keyboard turned out to be the perfect size, and now my keyboard and mouse have plenty of room and my desk is clear!- This keyboard does NOT have backlightingPersonally, I can't stand gratuitous lighting on computers. While it might be helpful at night to see the keys, I think most computer users know where the keys are. I'd much rather not have my computer room lit up like Christmas 24/7.- This keyboard has a somewhat non-standard key layoutThis is a biggie. Make sure you review the key layout before buying this an decide if it works for you. I personally love the fact that this keyboard doesn't have a "windows key". After many years of confusion my pinky can again comfortably find the alt key and there is no danger of exiting to the desktop during games. Hallelujah!*BEWARE* there are other changes beyond the removal of the windows key. The backspace key is TINY, and the Right Shift Key is in a bit of weird location relative to the forward slash. - Mechanical buttons are GREAT (Cherry MX Black)If you grew up with old IBM keyboards, you know what I'm talking about. This keyboard has Cherry MX Black switches which are particularly good for gaming. The press is smooth all the way down, so it doesn't provide feedback letting you know the key has been pressed. The keyboard is less loud than some other mechanical keyboards, but is definitely still loud for those used to non-mechanical keyboards.ISSUESThere are a few nitpicky issues I've had with this keyboard.- The bumps on the F and J home keys are a little hard to feel. I assume most people position their fingers on the keyboard by feeling for the bumps, so more prominent bumps would be helpful- I was a bit disappointed that the keyboard did not come with tool to remove keys, and replacement/customization keys.- The keyboard did not come with a USB-PS2 converter. With a mechanical keyboard you want to be using PS2.
