extremely accurate, 5 buttons, smooth scroll, quite long battery life, bigger desktop size, quite durable. NOT meant for gaming, scroll wheel is really tempermental when click by click is needed(for some purpose microsoft went with an optical sensor for the wheel rather than a mechanical 1(that Actually confused me)), side buttons tend to drop out sometimes for some cause. obtaining the hex essential screws beneath the pads makes it Actually tough to clean. The bluetrack is possibly the very best issue microsoft has come up with (though, I don't know why it took so long). If you game and just use the three primary buttons, performs just dandy, side buttons give me a lot of difficulty in games, even though. They work just fine in windows applications, on the other hand, so don't let that turn you away. I've had the mouse for just about a year know and I've replaced the batteries only three-four instances below heavy use, and I need to have dropped this issue at least 40-50 instances from three-5 feet up, and it still operates the very same as the day i got it. The potential to remap all buttons is a nice function and the application is simple to use. overall, more than i expected. get this or the 6000 over the overheating 4000, though.

BlueTrak works well. Doesn't skip a beat. Programmable buttons and quickly scroll. Wireless performs effectively Middle wheel button challenging to click - doesn't press so nicely. You have to press tougher than all the rest of the buttons, and down to a "second" click to essentially trigger it. Not a huge deal, but I generally program this button to be a double click for moving about applications and games and such. Can't do that with this mouse - WAS in a position to system it to a straightforward gaming macro although, which was nice Light years ahead of my previouse optical mouse. The logitech that I had just tried felt like the buttons were oging to fall off, so this microsoft one had a fantastic firm feel to it. Also, the size is best for an individual like me that has larger hands (work masonry) and is nonetheless smaller enough for a notebook use. Also to note, it only turns off when you put the USB stick in the mouse, unless i've missed something.

I have massive hands and I bought this due to the fact I saw it suggest on a forum for people with substantial hands. It's ok, but it's nonetheless on the smaller side for me (keep in mind, XL gloves either don't match me or are super tight). I'm going to give it a try for awhile to see if I can get accustomed to it. Install was easy and the reception is fantastic (receiver is 3-4 feet away). It's a bit loud on the clicky-clicky, but no eggs lost for that. As other reviewers pointed out, the place of the side buttons is not perfect - you have to move your hand to use them comfortably. As I mentioned, I have substantial hands, but my thumb can not attain the left-side button, I have to move my hand up to attain it - about 1ǘ inch back would've been a much much more organic location. Very first mouse I've had that didn't have the little clicks when scrolling (smooth scroll). I didn't realize that I would in fact have to get use to those clicks not becoming there.

Bluetrack is very precise up to about 15 feet with no lag on a lot of different surfaces even without the use of a mouse pad. The mouse fits snugly into medium/large size hands and is better suited for wrist handle as opposed to pushing with fingertips. Appears to have a decent battery life so far Ɠ months) specially considering that you can turn off the mouse by inserting the receiver into the bottom of the mouse when not in use. Back/forward buttons (for internet browsing) on either side of the mouse are within comfy attain but not intrusive and easy to accidentally press. The wireless receiver is a bit huge and protrudes from the usb slot when plugged in. It also doesn't sit flush into the slot on the bottom of the mouse. The scroll wheel action is smooth generating it difficult for precision use for particular tasks such as zooming in/out when viewing photographs and changing weapons throughout games.

*Normal size mouse for once. Tired of these tiny mouses.*Perfect for laptops and computer systems*Very fantastic for gaming*Comes with two side buttons that can be utilized as hotkeys*Blue laser tends to make it appear far more sensitive with a larger mouse threshold. I've user a lot of other wireless mouses and it appears this is the most sensitive.*Looks good with a glossy paint.*Very far connection (Tested this by going 2 rooms away from my pc)*Long battery life *The mouse is incredibly glossy, making it incredibly dirty.*The scroll wheel is a bit also uncomplicated to move, but it's not a significant flaw.*Mouse wheel seems hard to click*I didn't purchase it from newegg. I do not comprehend tw3kr's critique.

What a great mouse. Enjoy at initial sight when I very first tried out the demo dummy at a regional office retailer. Kind fits my hand just fine, buttons are crisp and not mushy... it's just wonderful. No nano receiver. If I had the scratch for this, I'm letting you know right now that I would totally go for this.

Worked fantastic out of box, smooth fast scrolling and side buttons are excellent for added adds for knives etc on games. says it has a what, eight month battery span? what if the actual mouse only operates for much less then a month then what?It had randomly stopped working on me for no purpose, attempted updating, putting in, reinstalling all drivers and so forth. and nevertheless nothing seems to perform. Not joyful "obviously"

Tracks just about everywhere. Significantly greater than my old mouse. Like the rapidly and smooth scroll wheel The scroll when has tin on each sides of it and lint seems to get trapped in there and makes the smooth scroll miss a scroll from time to time..weird style. good mouse, bought from officemax for much less.

Works fairly a lot anywhere.Lengthy battery life.Side buttons. All buttons reprogrammable employing software, even with macro's!!! Glossy finish gets dirty/sticky very easily. I play Starcraft two a LOT, and the side buttons work excellent for it. However, sometimes it appears there is just a bit of lag on the buttons. Not something to take note of, it's probably just my Pc. I tied this in with a sidewinder x4 keyboard, and they have the exact same software program. Remember to name your macro's some thing you'll recall, or you may well end up putting keyboard macro's on your mouse, and vice versa.

Fits my hand perfectly and is comfortable. Click is sort of loud but works wonderful. If you like scrolling, this is your mouse! Not for me, though. I am a gamer who uses the scroll wheel often, and it scrolls too quick even with the computer software on the lowest setting. Not seriously a con, although. Just a preference. Get this mouse!

Wonderful Mouse. Initial off. I enjoy the size. I'm tired of attempting to discover a mouse that fits my hand rather of feeling like I'm pushing around a infant toy.. This 1 does just that.. The design/look is really special (IMO). The glossy black and rubberized grip in some locations is incredibly really cool. General quite sleek and nicely created.. Much more of a matter of preference than a con.. but I like the actual receivers with a cord a lot more than the tiny usb plug in receivers.. I discover these simple to misplace.. However the mouse accomadates the receiver "on-board" during transport so as to prevent this possibility.. The back/forward buttons are as well high on the mouse for my taste. They are not exactly where the thumb and ring finger rest so you need to readjust your hand placement to go back/forward. Obviously not a huge deal to move your thumb a millimeter or two - just a slight annoyance. The back/forward buttons are unlike other individuals I've used. The hepatic feedback is nearly non-existant. So you really don't know if you've pressed the button or not.. But it's starting to grow on me.. I also favor the back/forward to be on the exact same side, but that hasn't been an challenge either. So far this is effortlessly the finest mouse I've ever owned and I would probably have been equally as content for twice the funds.

A fantastic simple wireless mouse for each and every day use. I can't stand these mini laptop mouses. This fits in the palm of your hand perfectly. A lot of men and women say a widespread con of wireless mouses are the lag times, this proves those people incorrect. The pointer scrolls clean and smooth just about every time with this mouse. Can use on several surfaces, bye bye mouse pad Purchased this at a well-known electronic retailer and paid additional :( should have checked newegg initially, but I'm glad to see the product I purchased has a constant five stars.

Blue Track performs wonderful, shape fits my hand effectively, I'm picky about the side button layout (has to be a single on every single side) Scroll wheel and wheel center click problems!!This mouse does not play effectively with MS Intellipoint 8., I use a number of various CAD and pdf programs that use the scroll wheel to zoom the view in and out. This mouse with Intellipoint 8. acts like a hyper zoom, barely move the wheel and the zoom is all the way in or all the way out. You have no control.I uninstalled 8. & installed Intellipoint 7. then lied to the computer software about which mouse I was employing and it assisted a lot, but the zoom is nevertheless quite sensitive, but I'll get use to it.Also the center click (wheel click) is extremely stiff and if you want to use a double center click it is somewhat inconsistent. From reading blogs on Microsoft sites it seems that this is a identified dilemma to them. I hope they can work this out.

Smooth wheel on the 5 button mouse. Fantastic energy saving approaches (strobe of the blue led and so forth.). Movement gets extremely choppy if something (including a human body) is between the mouse and the receiver.

One particular of the most comfortable mouses identified to man-sort. Its' size if perfect, not to major-not to small. Conforms to your hand perfectly. It looks like and feels like the mouse was engineered with top quality place in thoughts for the moment. The lovely look and really feel is genuinely stunning. The leading is glossy black that doesn't appear to do what most glossy black things do which is leave annoying smudges and smears. Along the edges is a great dotted rubber grip for thumbs and pinky's and then smooths out and wraps about the rest of the mouse where the wrist would land. It's black with small white accents make it look!! I use my right hand, but this mouse will operate just the similar for someone who could use their left. Lots of macro attributes with two side buttons that are can also be programed to do something else. Capability to scroll incredibly rapidly if you set it to do so. Comes with great computer software with ease of use and added capabilities. I bought this mouse as a set with the MS keyboard 3000 v2. which is a fantastic combo. Middle scroll button is a bit challenging to push, but this could soften up after use (most probably), but it is not a huge deal. I needed a new keyboard and mouse for school and this will be excellent, but I also play games like StarCraft two which I am not positive if it's the best gaming mouse. I haven't had it long enough to confirm this. I could just will need to get use to the new feel and all, but you can set the side keys to do basic macros that you would use in a game on a standard bases, like shift, manage, and so on. So on that side it can be valuable for games. The mouse seemed to be a tad slower than my prior OEM mouse that I had, even even though the settings are set to max sensitivity (only in-game do I notice this; Windows seems to be fine). Uh yea, this mouse doesn't have a lot of bad points to say about it. Purchase the combo mouse/keyboard set. It's a greater deal. I feel it's referred to as the MS Keyboard 3000 v2.. Hope that helps. The capacity to snap in the receiver to turn the mouse off appears like a good feature, but how generally will I essentially take that out of my desktop and place it in my mouse? Most likely never. But for a laptop this feature is in all probability a sweet one particular indeed. I can not vouch for the 8 month battery life, I just have got the mouse so I can not say it does or doesn't. Following acquiring the mouse, I was curious on how typically I will be recharging batteries for both keyboard and mouse. I will up date later date if this becomes a issue. All in all, and as picky as I am, I believe this is one particular of the ideal mice out their.

Looks good. Have been utilizing it for a couple of hours a night for 2+ months and battery indicator still reads green. Comfortable, superior Lefty/Righty layout. Middle click and side buttons are a bit inconsistent. Frustrating for gaming. Scroll wheel utterly useless -- manageable in, say, Web Explorer, but moot elsewhere. I get a lot of wireless lag in games when the adapter is additional than about a foot away from the mouse. This could be interference, or it could be a poor wireless adapter -- I have no notion. I have a USB extension cable with the adapter up on the desk, quite near the mouse, and this has cured the difficulty. I was lured in by the resemblance to the old IntelliMouse Explorer. This mouse doesn't come close in terms of performance or reliability, but if you're seeking for the ambidextrous layout, it's here. I expected to adapt to the scroll wheel; I haven't. It's been a couple months now, and nonetheless no very good. The Microsoft Mouse utility is a ought to-have. It allows you to adjust what programs recognize the added buttons as -- required for older games that don't support Mouse four or Mouse five. If you're just organizing to use this for casual desktop use -- world wide web, music -- this will be a great mouse. If you're a gamer (especially rapidly-paced shooters), go elsewhere.

Great mouse, good response time and fast wakeup time. Nice smooth really feel and rubber ergonomic grip for either left or suitable hand. Multi button and the wheel spins genuinely smooth (doesn't click click click when you turn it.)Bluetrack technologies is awesome, this mouse functions on practically any surface and the response is 90% flawless with very small jumping or twitching (due to textures or reflection) The USB adapter doesn't fit all the way in to the mouse, weird? USB adapter is a small larger than I like my mice. This mouse isn't exactally the most portable wireless mouse out there, it's a massive bulky and the adapter sticks out rather far. The adapter also falls out from time to time which then turns the mouse on and you begin loosing battery life. Generally, this mouse is basically remarkable and is a ought to buy.As a different side note, I didn't acquire it from Newegg, but from Target for 5 bones more affordable. I don't know how lengthy Targets price will last, maybe only a week or so,Buy it!

Got it OEM for ฤ bucks. Download the newest software program from Microsoft. It has some really cool features for Windows 7. Can set custom functions for the five buttons. The middle scroll buttom is default as a "magnifying" feature. Actually cool for bad eyes or presentations. Proper side defaults to bring up all open withdow. I love this feature. Scrolling not as smooth as my Logitech mouse. I love Newegg and their assessment sorting. Even so, items that get off to couple of bad or mediocre reviews can be domed! This mouse is really superior for the funds.

I believe it's superior searching, individuals complain about it getting dirty. That's what ArmorAll is all about. Has a good feel in the hand. Has good range, at least 20' with no walls. At times the cursor gets lost racing across the screen, maybe there's an adjustment I overlooked. Would be good if you could change the scroll wheel to click mode, if you know what I mean. Also the receiver doesn't stow away extremely properly as it sticks out of the housing. I still feel it's a quite nice mouse for what I paid (ำ.00)
