Cons: - SUPER tight space- HDD LED is too subdued- Sliding HDD cases aren't designed for certain motherboard layouts

Pros: - Super quiet- Great airflow- Built-in fan control- Looks awesome
Comment:
BEWARE: The middle HDD casing will push against your SATA connectors on the motherboard if they're the kind that are oriented outward rather than on the motherboard. (like in http://ncix.com/products/?sku=59607&vpn=785GM-P45&manufacture=Others).Overall, it's a pretty decent case. The space is pretty tight, but it's super quiet, has great airflow and looks really slick. The material feels pretty nice too.The HDD light is a little too hidden for my liking, but it does make the case look a little more sleek.

Cons: large power supply may not fit if you use the bottom drive bays. cannot fit water cooling in this case without some modding.

Pros: Good airflow, cable management, clean look.
Comment:
This is a really good case for a mATX board. I had to gut the front hard drive bays to fit all my water cooling parts in it. It was easy to mod and looks really clean. I would recommend this case to anyone that is looking for a mATX case.

Cons: Huge. This case is as big as most normal ATX cases even though it's a micro-ATX case. On my case, the door is misaligned and doesn't close properly. After looking around, it seem to be a common problem with the P-Series cases.

Pros: Very advanced features. More in common with the later P182/P183 generation than the P180 despite the namesake.
Comment:
Extremely sturdy. Like its bigger cousins, the P180/182/183, this case is built like a tank. The side panels are absolutely solid and will not flex. After you use a P-Series case, every other case you will use afterwards will feel like a tin foil shell. A side effect of the sturdiness is that the case is heavy. You will not want to use this case in your lan-party set up. Good air flow and extremely silent.

Cons: nearly P183 in Size and price

Pros: looks great, nearly silent cooling solution, flexible layout options
Comment:
Set this up with a Corsair VX450, iGP motherboard, 2x 1TB drives, all fans on lowest speed, as an office server and most people have to put their hand over the big 200mm top fan to believe its actually running.

Cons: - It's really heavy considering it's size, and "bends" a little when leaned on.- Fan intakes will get dusty, requires diligent cleaning.- Stock fans rattle and hum a little. Tighten those screws or get new fans.- DVD/CD/BluRay drive may not fit with a larger power supply since they share the same area.- Super Modders may want look to the larger versions if you want to do any custom cooling.

Pros: + Good construction, not overly rigid but a big step up from the budget cases.+ Looks closed in but has excellent ventilation, the front fan intakes amazed me.+ Motherboard back mount has room for cables behind it.+ Accommodates the large Hyper 212 cooler from CoolerMaster just fine + Removable HD Cages which can be taken out to make way for a 120mm fan in either bay. + Great price for the quality.
Comment:
Bought this to support my mini i7 build. The first thing that is really noticeable is the weight! Very hefty. After unpacking saw that it comes with all the necessary mounting hardware and cable ties. The black paint job is present inside the case as well. Looks really nice so be careful with the screwdrivers and other pointy objects! Side panels are hefty and stop case vibration/hum very well. All components went in just fine. Both the fairly large Hyper 212 CPU cooler from CoolerMaster and my old Powercolor Radeon 4870 fit well (with one HD bay removed). Both HD Bays have soft grommets for each drive, and can be taken out and replaced by 120mm fans. Air intake is excellent, and doesn't sound like the case strains the fans at all. (Note: I don't have actively cooled RAM, you may want to look that up if that's something you want to try. The sticks I have from Mushkin fit fine.)Cable management is decent but bear in mind that there is only so much room in a mATX box. For what I could fit in it this case impressed me a great deal. Just be aware that it won't support SLI or Crossfire very well, due to space limitations. If you want to do 2 or more video cards you may want to step up to the mid-size version. There are some other nitpicks, like a cramped space for the BluRay drive when a larger PS is installed.Overall this is a great buy. With a toned down build this case would probably be near silent with great looks to boot.

Pros: Great coolingStylishFan Filters
Comment:
Overall I'm very happy with this case. Beware that if you leave both hard drive bays (Not likely unless you have a very small video card) you will have little room to work with. The cooling in this case though is fantastic, the 200mm top mounted fan is more than ample to give great exhaust. The only problem I had with the fans is that the controls for the top and read fan are mounted for access on the back panel. They're designed to be able to be switched out if you change the fans out; however, the mount holding these in is very cheap and just flimsy soft plastic so I found when I went to switch the fans (Hard to do so you have to push a little hard) the controllers would often just pop out into the case which was a hassle to go in and remount. Other than this little flaw this case is well constructed and has some great features. I'd purchase this again for another small build. Recommended.

This is a nice case, looks and functionality. I bought the granddaddy of the Antec's Performance series, P160, way back in ~2004? I've actually used it up till now, this case is the replacement for it. The P160 lasted through many changes in internal components, and, after setting up my new build, I feel that P180 mini will last too.My build:Asus M4785-MAMD Athlon II x4 620Kingston Hyper X (4x2gb DDR2-800, 2 kits)Seagate 1TB SATA (bottom of middle cage)Vantec 5.25" Media card reader (Top bay)Corsair TX850I will be adding more HDs. Running everything at stock speed, the chassis fans at low, and cpu fan motherboard controlled, gives decent temps and low noise - just a slight hum. I'll have to find a way to pump more air by the HDs as thats the only concern I have, boot drive is 36c according to HWMonitor. CPU is just under 30c w/ stock cooler, I still have to transfer a zalman over. (Room should be ~23c, because of computer is on 24/7).Quick list:-Case is well built - Aluminum/plastic combo-Quiet - theres padding to minimize vibration transfer to side panel, hd cages have something similar-Hardware - enough hardware to mount your junk (Antec: Why no black screws?)-Small storage space attached to middle cage - interesting feature, I could put HD screws there or something small-accessories - extra 120mm tri-cool fan included, and some reusable rubber cable straps-built-in cable management; behind motherboard has room for cables and anchor points for the above mentioned straps - I ran the 4pin motherboard connector back here, and a 4 pin molex for the top fan (Antec: please include a longer cable for next rev)-psu compartment + bottom bays - theres an opening (variable with a sliding panel) to feed your cables through to the motherboard compartment (Antec: I feel fan cables would benefit from another opening closer to the rear panel/psu, even pre-wired)-5x 3.5"/3x 5.25" spaces is good - matx boards usually have 6 sata + 1 ide = 8 devices-power button is covered by door - I don't understand this design choice: you can't accidentally shutoff your comp, but there is a OS control setting for this! or for preventing someone from shutting down, you can hit the psu switch or open the door (no locking feature), [or, gasp, yank the cord, flick the fuse, etc... maybe the switch isn't pretty enough?]-door - I personally hate doors (the features on this case > hate for doors), the mounts on the front bezel could be moved to the front bezel so the door would fit almost flush against the case when h 270degBottom line: Great case, might sound like I hate this case but I really like it.

I once owned an Antec Sonata 2 and I prefer this case for a lot of reasons. The P180 mini is very quiet considering it has a 120mm and a huge 255mm fan on top (set on low)When you remove the sides you really that they are built for sound dampeningThe overall build quality is far superior to so many cases that I have seen for up 200$There are some great features like the fan speed can be changed with a little switch on the back, it is very well built for cable management and the power supply is separated by a sliding trap. So the overall airflow is greatThe hard drive cases are also really well designed and one of them has a small box to put extra screws or anything else you might want to hide :)I really recommend this case for a Micro Atx Build

Cons: Kinda big for MicroATX (but fits quite a few drives). Large add in cards may not fit with lower HD cage installed.

Pros: Kinda small, very quiet, nice looking, well built, fits many drives in a small space, great airflow, dust filters...
Comment:
Had a HUGE OLD case I was using for a storage machine: Intel DQ45CB MB, Xeon E3110, a couple Gigs o RAM, and a Promise IDE RAID controller w 4x320GB HDs in RAID 5 and a 5th HD as a system drive. It was funny having that lil MB in that huge case, anyway... I moved all that hardware into this Antec case and am SO glad I did! It is almost dead quiet (have to look at power LED to tell if the machine is on or not) and stays very cool due to excellent airflow. I did have to chop a chunk out of the lower HD cage to be able to use it and my RAID card at the dame time (a must). Yup, I`m a crazy modder... Overall an excellent case.

Bought this and built it for a friend of mine. He was so excited to use his PC because of how awesome his new case looked, inside and out.I definitely enjoyed building a gaming rig in this case. Antec put a lot of thought into engineering such cool concepts like the seperate cage for the HDDs, seperated PSU on the bottom, carefully placed intake dust filters, optical drive placements, sound dampened doors, and a pretty solid front door too. The whole case is solid! This review was modfied by poster @ 02-04-09 09:44 PM

I'm very impressed with this case. Even though 'mini' doesn't mean small, it indeed is mini compared to its big brother, the Antec P180 (which I own as well). Excellent case, purchased at an excellent price. I would definitely buy again.

Cons: - Its specs indicates that you can install two intake fans on the front panel, but to do that you need to remove the HDD cages due to limited space.- The stock case fans (top and back) only come with 2pin connectors so you have no choice but to use the built-in 3-way speed controller. I was trying to connect them to a fan speed controller with RPM display but found that it's impossible.

Pros: - Excellent airflow and cooling- Nice cable management- Washable dust filter- Sold build quality
Comment:
I'm very impressed by this case. Its excellent airflow keeps your CPU and other components very cool. My CPU temperature decreased 10C after I replaced my old case with this one. Cable management is another highlight. You can run all the cables under the mobo tray so the front side looks very clean and keeps good airflow.Compared to its big brother P180 and P182, this case is much smaller and takes less space. But it brings some small issues too. For example, there is not enough space for a standard 120mm fan in front of the HDD cages. You can install them but need to remove the cages first. In another word, you can't use a fan to cool your HDDs. Another problem I had was that I can't connect the stock case fans to a fan controller with RPM display. They only have 2pin connectors. I ended up with replacing the back fan with a Scythe 120mm fan which has a 3pin connector. Overall this is a very good mATX case and I like it.

Cons: Get a modular PSU for this case. I tried putting a Corsair TX750W in this thing, and it was just a mess. I went back to my Enermax Liberty 500W and it's much MUCH cleaner.

Pros: Fantastic case. The build quality is even better than my Antec P182. The fans are extremely quiet and push a lot of air. The cable routing in the back of the case is excellent and compared to the P182, which has maybe 1cm of thickness behind the motherboard for routing cables, on this case it's more like 1.5-2cm, and its VERY helpful when routing cables back there to have some extra breathing room.
Comment:
This is one of the best cases on the market right now, if micro ATX boards are your thing. I was able to run an overclocked Q9300 with a Thermalright Ultra-120 passively (no CPU fan) due to the excellent case cooling. The build quality is superb - the front door opens and closes effortlessly and the magnet holds it into place. It looks great and is even quieter than the P182 due to the quiet but efficient 200mm case fan on top.

Has always, antec, when they put effort into it, can make good case. They came with an Matx model with their now typical huge top mounted fan. I really like this case overll for the hardrive mount, front door and good cable managment option. But beware, the case is big for an Matx, if you really want small form factor you should maybe look elsewhere.
