It's Fast, Ideal upgrade for your Computer. Read/Writes as specified by Manufacturer. Operating Win 7 64Bit. I need to get yet another for Raid ! C'mon Mushkin authorize a enormous price reduce for Black Friday. There are none at this time, except the price. We require it below 贄. Read setup parameters just before installing, Do not format, do not ever defrag, turn off super fetch, caching, search indexing, disable web page file or location it on another drive, and so forth...........Speed Kills, Get pleasure from!

Rapidly really Fast. I was play Arma two Arrowhead with a regular Hd and each time i move up trees rocks and everything pops up in lag. But as quickly as i drop in this Terrible BOY it's like getting the world at my finger guidelines. Now items are moving smoothly. i'm running 480 Gtx on the exact same machine so even with the greatest V Card this is a should have. The V Card is for the FPS The SSD is for how considerably of the map it can hold in real time devoid of browsing for what comes next. Remember theirs no moving components that suggests every thing is method on time. None It's practically nothing like possessing your SSD for paging files. that yet another way to say do i really want to upgrade my memory. No feel about if your SSD have no moving parts and paging is another way of memory. Then the SSD is an upgrade of memory to. I test HD paging files then i test the SSD paging file and SSD wins hand up. I want i can talk a lot more about it but it's to significantly to be mentioned.

This point is rapidly.....operates just as described. Benched with atto and its quickest read was 283, create was 278. It loads win7 Ultimate in about 20 seconds or less. like everyone else....wish i had gone larger on the GB's but its alright.....ill just obtain one more and run them in raid.Also......i disabled hibernate and it freed up 8 gigs.....nice!!! So instead of only 35 gigs soon after win7 install, i now have 43! Make certain you do all the tweaks that ought to be accomplished with ssd's.....theres a good thread at corsair, verify it out if you want support with the tweaks.

Its really genuinely quickly! it comes in a good package. The two.5 to three.5 bracket just doesn't operate for me in my tool-less case. I havent utilized mushkin before but the testimonials have been great and I took a likelihood, this drive is fantastic! I previously had an SSD from gskill that was possessing problems and I decided to switch to mushkin, fantastic so far! This drive is rapidly! You have to make certain you have the newest sata drivers

Wow...let me give you an idea of the speed boost in a actual-planet scenario. I have a Pentium 4 HT, three.8 GHz, 1 GB RAM. Time from hitting energy button to entirely up at Windows 7 desktop, all startup apps loading like widgets and launch of XBMC (XBOX Media Center) interface on the stock Seagate SATA tough drive, 1ᚮ. Cloned the HDD to this SSD, then timed the exact same test once again, ᛂ. That is a really serious boost, people. Ummm...a small pricey, but study the Pros once more. Every thing is more rapidly, just launching apps or browsing is noticeably snappier, the machine is quieter, consumes less power.

Extremely quickly when it worked! SF1200. Excellent boot device. Low-cost. Overall performance and strartup for all apps and os installed on drive elevated substantially. Distinction editing massive photos is like night and day when making use of a laptop. It in fact becomes tolerable. I did not want to rate this drive as well poorly, but it did fail in much less than two weeks. Just recording here, but I haven't seen a lot of other failures recorded. Hope this is an isolated occurrence. rma'd, and look forward to getting new drive. benchmarks have been saved to drive...so no posting, but scored highly, even amongst ssds. Nearly doubled all round sandra score for an affordable laptop (core 2 duo t6500, integrated graphics, 3GB pc8500 (but slow controller and cas latency) ram)--was among leading drives in sandra's database. Win7 practical experience was 7.7.

Extremely fast! None! This is my first SSD and also a initially time Mushkin Consumer. The set up and installation was painless. Speeds are very close to advertised and just a really very good experience all round. I will absolutely be looking up Mushkin once more in the future.I knew SSDs were rapid but I'm nonetheless surprised right after experiencing it for myself. I feel it's funny I'm getting connection errors from startup applications due to the fact they're loading also rapidly!Hunting forward to the day SSDs turn into cost-effective sufficient to replace all my mechanical difficult drives.

-> TRIM assistance (great with Linux or Windows 7)-> Assembled in the USA-> Consumes very tiny energy and emits practically no heatPlaced slightly above the 270mb/sec mark in ATTO benchmark (reading).Windows 7 boot time went from 30 seconds on a 7200 rpm hdd to just under 5 (after POST). None Mushkin tends to make great RAM, so it is no surprise that their SSDs are equally excellent.

Effectively I had purchased my first a single of these back in late July of 2010 and it ran about 272mbs study 260mbs write which to me was great for a single SSD. I then got my 2nd drive for Xmas and setup my RAID0 configuration. After undertaking the fundamental SSD tweaking in windows I am now acquiring 550mbs study 510mbs create speeds which is ideal for a dual setup. The 120gb storage space now is substantially nicer for getting a handful of games installed. Not huge on storage but SSD makers appreciate to take advantage of us. i7 920 @ 4.2ghzMushkin Redline 12GB @ 6-8-six-18 1600mhzEVGA X58 Classified MoBoCorsair H70 CPU CoolerCorsair HX1000EVGA GTX470EVGA GTX2753 - WD Black 1TB2 - WD Black 500gbCM HAF932 with ten-120mm RED LED Fans

This is by far one of the finest upgrades I have performed for my computer. I use this as the OS disk and another drive as the documents disk. Anything runs more rapidly, smoother, and additional stable now. When you have a key disk and a scratch disk, in particular if the principal disk is this SSD, you can't go wrong. All round value. The value for this item is Very affordable compared to other SSD offerings on the market place now, and I would rather they kept it at this price and didn't compromise the hardware, but SSD are still incredibly expensive. SILENT :D

SPEED! Not undesirable looking either Not SATA III, Firmware upgrades are not for the faint-of-heart All round an outstanding little drive. Utilizing as boot drive in normal configuration (no RAID). Boots from off to idle desktop in ㅖsec (and thats with BIOS fast boot OFF!). Provides a WEI of 7.7 on the drive. In no way a stutter loading a plan off this drive. Firmware upgrading is a small tougher than it should be. No all-encompassing utility to do the job across multiple drives. You have to get the appropriate one for your drive, and even beneath excellent conditions there is a point where the computer system will freeze for a couple of minutes. All round hugely encouraged.Core i7 950Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3RWindows 7 Pro x64

Very quickly transfer rate and access time. Windows 7 loading is blistering rapidly.RAID with this SSD on Intel Ich10r is match made in heaven. It's black and looks truly slick.Comes in really good/high class packaging unlike OCZ agility two. Want SATA cables would come with this Bought this together with OCZ Agility two 60gb for RAID to add additional speed to my desktop, which already had an Adata 64gb Sandforce SSD on it. The result is thoughts boggling right after putting all three drives (Mushkin Callisto Deluxe 60gb, OCZ Agility two 60gb, and Adata S599 64gb) in RAID . three x 60gb Sanforce 1200 SSDs in RAID on Intel ICH10R chipset (EVGA SLI LE MB), achieved about 512 mb/s sequential read and 207 mb/s sequential write (I was receiving around 200mb/s on a single SSD). Games now load a lot more rapidly than ahead of. I spent total of 300$ on these 3 drives, and it's the finest 300$ I've ever spent on computer system components, highly recommended.

Performs like a champ. I'm using it as an OS drive, and there's a noticeable difference in boot-up time from my old 500GB HDD (that I now use solely to shop my files and media). The holes for the 3.5" adapter we as well little for the screws in my antec 900 case. Not a issue, I just secured it in spot with some electrical tape. Worth the income in my opinion, I just wish the price tag per GB would be closer to that of an HDD

Regrettably for anyone who runs Linux or OS X you're out of luck with regards to updating the firmware. Bizarre.
