I own several Mushkin SSDs. Excellent product, buy with confidence. Also check out their ram, way cheaper and just as fast as high end ram.

Bought half a year ago to fasten my system. I was very pleased with the packaging, the waranty and the overall quality of the product. My computer is much more snapier (i7 870).I'm used to buy muskin memory, and will definetly continue to do so.

I have returned 2 of these solid state drives back to muskin for replacement. Both of them were the same, they work flawlessly for a couple days then they die completely. If you are looking for a reliable ssd like I was look elsewhere.

Bought this one and the mx version. The mx is much faster in benchmarks but you can't tell the difference in real world usage.

Very happy with this product. Upgrading from a WD black hdd to this product has improved the speed of my computer in all areas.Windows loads significantly faster, as do all games and programs.I have had issues with this drive so far - even after multiple re-formats (my fault not drives).

I was hesitant about buying SSD's from reading about peoples troubles with them. Decided to give in and bought this, and let me say It blows my mind that i haven't bought one sooner. Load times and boot/shut down times are reduced to seconds. Definetely will be buying a bigger one next time they go on sale

I have a OCZ Vertex 3 240 on my main PC since 1 year.Purchased Mushkin 120 to upgrade my old laptop Lenovo T61. Flashed my T61 with a tweaked BIOS to unlock SataII performance (Easily found on forums post). Cloned my old Windows 7 80 HD into the Mushkin. Installed Ubuntu on the free extra 30 Gb.Performance are much more than I was expecting for a SATAII with Dual core only laptop. Ubuntu boot time after GRUB Multi OS booloader is at an incredible 4 seconds to login screen. Windows 7 boot time (After BIOS passed) is at near 8 seconds. Pretty impressive. No BSOD, No freeze or any error after extensive usage in the last days.

Bought this SSD for a laptop. Installation was pretty easy, Windows setup took no time at all and have had no problems so far. It was already packing the latest firmware so no issue there. Pretty fast SSD for the price, but I doubt there's that much difference between the Muskin and any other SF-2281 SSD. So just go with the cheapest at the time of purchase.

Great price for a modern Sandforce drive. Boot times in Windows 7 are insane. Some goes for applications and games. It's priced near older SATA II drives but this one is a no brainer.

Cons: small reliability issue (corrupted data) but easily recoverable if tech savvy

Pros: can't beat price vs performance, under 1$/GB, fast
Comment:
I understand people who would go for the Deluxe version over this one, but I swear this version is plenty good for the casual gamer/user. Speeds are very very good. Booting time for Windows 7 is a joke.I had an issue with it 2 weeks ago, file were corrupted, Windows 7 crashed and wouldn't boot anymore. It wasn't even detectable in BIOS. I took it out of computer, waited a few hours, plugged it in laptop via SATA/USB Adapter, performed a complete full checkdisk with all correction options enabled, after completion I put it back in computer and it worked fine. Now it's been two weeks and no crashes. It it fails again I might submit it to RMA though ... so far so good!

I got this for a laptop (MSI GT70) and it does increase the speed of the computer.. tremendously. I had no problems with it, it does what it is supposed to do, is cheap and a 3.5" bracket is provided with it. I had a 10$ rebate with it, but did not received so far.. I don't know if I will.
