Cons: SATA connector does not latch firmly like other drives. PCB seems to move/flex slightly near connectors.

Pros: Price, Speed, Capacity, Technology
Comment:
I have had my drive for several months and it seems really good. I have not had any problems. The speed is great. The price/value was also very competitive. Overall, a very good SSD for the money.

Cons: Died unexpectedly , SSD updater method is anachronistic

Pros: Fast , SF-2281
Comment:
While the brand is good it appears that this Mushkin SSD has somewhat of a QC/QA problem as many reviews on the web will say this product fails within months and even less time. I had experienced the same with this ssd and will be returning it for a refund. In this case I insured myself with the NCIX Express Exchange on this item as I was unsure of this SSD's quality. It's fast when it works and provides great performance but to have an SSD die out of nowhere (and this is the first ssd I've owned out of others to do this) is unfortunate and appears to be a defect perhaps during manufacturing. It doesn't say I am a verified owner on this review because it is not a web order but rather bought from store.

Bought for $180 to try as my first SSD drive. I'm very happy with the boost in speed compared to my old Western Digital black setup. The best part is there' no noise. It's nice not listening to hard drive vibration through my metal case.

Cons: Limited Space - at current prices, you could consider the 480 GB version.

Pros: Very Fast, consistent, reliable, reasonably priced.
Comment:
I bought this in April 2012, 11 months ago. This was a big improvement over my older SSD Drive, which would periodically become un-bootable.With this Mushkin Chronos Deluxe, the computer boots lightning fast; games and other programs load very fast as well. There have been no reliability issues (thinking of my old SSD), and no stuttering and the drive does not run noticeably slower even though I am typically around 90% capacity. The drive is fast, consistent and reliable.I do have to shuffle programs around periodically, due to the limited space on a 240 GB primary drive. Prices have come down in the meantime and I would buy the 480 GB if I was in the market for one of these today.

Pros: I have had no problems with this drive what so ever. Very fast. Runs at rated speeds.

AWESOME when it works. Installed in SATA 2/Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit laptop relatively easy and no problems. When I initially installed in SATA 3/Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit desktop-server for small business, customer was blown away... so was I. Boot/restart times were ridiculous. Cannot be overstated. No problems for 1 month...

Cons: Still leery of sandforce

Pros: Good price / performance ratio
Comment:
Have worked great in a pair of PCs so far. We've not been stressing them with huge amounts of I/O, but they work nice and fast for our gaming needs. The capacity is at a decent level where we can install a number of games and not worry about filling them up. Networked storage handles all our data storage needs.

Cons: - Still lacking in gb/$ compared to HDD's

Pros: - Very fast- Good size- Very nice price for this good of an SSD
Comment:
Very fast and nice size for an OS with lots of games. I was running out of space because of Steam on my 120Gb SSD, so I decided to upgrade. This thing is far faster than my Corsair GT 120, and twice the size. Definitely can't complain for the price.

I had a Kingston SSD V100 64GB and I needed more space for my applications and games. I bought it few months ago (it is a lot cheaper now) and no problems since the first day I started using it. It is very easy to install and to upgrade the firmware. I would recommend that SSD for anyone.

Pros: Price/GB, Price/Performance
Comment:
I got this one as an upgrade from an OCZ Solid3 128GB for my tower pc. Chronos Deluxe can compete with Vertex 3 MaxIops for a fraction of the price. The upgrade from a SSD to a faster SSD in'st as noticable as from HDD to SSD in real life senario. It will mostly only boost synthetic benchmark but at the price i got it it was a most to try. For my first SSD I though 128gb would be enough but it was'nt unless I'D put many of my program on a hdd. 240GB should do the job as long as photo, video and other non executable data stay on hdd. My old solid3 is now boosting my laptop so both my tower and my laptop are now lightning fast!

Cons: -much more expensive than a magnetic hard drive

Pros: -fast-quiet-lots of storage for games/applications along with OS
Comment:
This drive performs as one of the top SSD's in the market and has plenty of storage to fit quite a few games on there along with your OS. At the 240GB size the cost of this drive on sale is under $1/GB which gives it much better value over the 60/90/120 GB size SSD's. For avid gamers this is the perfect size SSD, as a 120GB SSD cannot hold more than 2-3 modern games, especially if one or more of them are MMO's. The sandforce drives drop  greatly in performance for sizes above 256GB, so this drive is perfect for both storage and performance. This drive also comes with a 3.5 inch bay adapter for those with older cases that don't support 2.5 inch drives.

Cons: The non OD drive has dropped out once so far. May have something to do with the SATA cable.I've been waiting for the rebate for over 3 months now. I'll probably never buy another of Mushkins products on rebate because of this EVER.

Pros: Quick, quiet, fairly consistent
Comment:
I have two that I am using right now. One for OS and the other for files and programs. Installation was just a matter of a minor bios switch, and away we went. Win 7 loads up nice an quick. Games load up fine too. Recently the data drive went into 'not present mode. It was really annoying. a quick google and playing with the sata cable, and a reboot and all seems well (for now). I am seriously thinking about putting a sata drive back in for the data drive for reliability issues. The rebate is 3 months in coming and I don't think that is good enough. This alone is a deal breaker for a return for purchase of ANY of their other products.
