Utilizing ATTO Disk Benchmark, this thumb drive benchmarks quite regularly at block sizes of 64k and up.... about 25.3MB/sec create and 30.8MB/sec study. I use it nearly everyday and it has not lost data yet. I'm delighted with it. None Bang for the buck is higher with this thumb drive. It's one cheaper 32GB thumbs sold by newegg and is nonetheless their highest rated.

Good drive, does what it is suppose to. Reasonably quickly and appears trustworthy. I generally transfer a lot of files of 16-30MB from a single Computer to another and use this drive. I have not had any file transfers containing errors. I have observed this with other brands. Will accept/record person files that are more than ӰGB, ie a big zipped folder. Merely says the drive is full, when it is not. This is a discomfort at times. (Still in the original Fat32 format.)Clear plastic cab is lost. Finish Loop broke when on my important ring. I in all probability twisted it off. Uncommon.

Modest, rapidly, great capacity. I'm operating Sabayon linux on it (didn't have space for yet another partition on my laptop) and it functions awesome. None. Some reviewers complained that there is no activity LED, but that's not accurate. The LED is inside the USB stick and it's dim which is an absolute plus. Who want a large flashing LED?

Its tiny. Looks good. Quickly data transfer. Nothing at all .. So far functioning fantastic. It would be nice if cap can be placed on the back of drive whilst working with it so you cant misplace it.

Modest kind issue (see con beneath)Rapid! (leave it formated in fat32 for best outcomes)Activity lightMushkin made it ;^) Gloss finishIts smaller enough that it would be nice to have some sort of 'traction'. (i.e., finger indents, textured finish, rubberized belt and so forth)Otherwise there are no other cons. Overall performance is wonderful! I am delighted that I purchased this. The online has confirmed itself finest for speedy/live sharing of larger files (pics/movies/mp3s). But there are instances that I want those files on-hand and don't have access to the internet. This USB drive is ideal for downloading these files for later use!I know that there is a perceived limit to what most consumers will invest for a pen-drive like this. The expense vs usefulness window can be small and this unit is most likely at the upper limit. Having stated that, I personally would pay a couple of further bucks for a much more tactile feel.I would absolutely suggest this to anyone searching for a trusted, 32GB, portable, quickly, USB primarily based temporary storage.

Fairly fantastic drive, I packed it complete and dumped my drive a number of instances. Video Playback at 1080p from it is jumpy..... Seems to be fairly rapid. However I have not sat down and carried out any bench testing..... I wish the cap did not exist and the usb connector slid back and forth....... I loose the cap frequently at my desk and invest an hour hunting it. Its a Mushkin........ And it all fantastic.

This drive is noticeably quicker than my other usb flash drives. It seems fully sealed, I'm not anxious to test it, but I consider it would float. It feels incredibly sturdy, I toss it about a bit recklessly mainly because it just feels incredibly robust however lightweight.I seem to have very a big collection of USB drives, some of them retired due to speed, breaking, or storage size (call me a sucker for electronics/computer toys). This drive is really the "mercedes" of the bunch. It DOES have a usage indicator light, it's just fairly dim. The light is inside the plastic casing at the rear (at the lanyard loop). The casing looks gloss black, but it's actually translucent, like limo-tint windows... and the usage light is inside that. The usage indicator light is also dim to see outdoors in daylight (but that's also a pro... if you don't want obnoxiously vibrant flashing LED's at evening or in dimmer lighting scenarios). If you want to use it in sunlight, and you need an indicator light even though, this isn't the USB drive for you. I don't usually create reviews, but frankly this is an awesome flash drive, and I hate to see it receiving poor critiques for silly reasons. "most" flash drives have a losable cap... and you know, they operate fine with out a cap. This drive feels extremely solidly made. I have dropped it on cement a lot of times (without a cap even) and it hasn't even scratched it. The usb plug fits incredibly securely and snugly into ports (not all usb flash drives do), and its light weight enough to remain put even if the device you plug it into gets moved a lot. It's not the smallest usb drive, but it's smaller sized than most. There are not quite a few modest usb drives that are solidly produced, this one is, plus it's extremely fast. The hidden usage indicator light would be really hard to see in daylight beneath the tinted casing, but it's fine indoors, and looks rather classy. I got this to use for computing, but it ended up becoming the usb drive for my automobile's stereo. Black case + dim usage light + little + snug plug = excellent auto usb d

Quick, smaller, reasonably low-cost, high capacity If I had to pick, I guess the glossy finish, only 2 year warranty To the last evaluation, it undoubtedly does have an activity light, appear closer. Since my other evaluation didn't get posted, I'll make this one quick.33MB/s study burst, 32MB/s read average. Win7 shows a 16.5MB/s write speed for large files, as does DiskBench. Right here is a sample write test I just ran: Size: 1536193219 Time: 88334 ms Transfer Rate: 16.585 MB/sDrive was initially slow after I formatted to NTFS, but Nick at Mushkin had me format back to FAT32 with 64byte allocation units and it brought the write speed back up to 16.5MB/s. Extremely delighted with the drive, hopefully it lasts awhile.

Rapidly reads, rapid writes. Fits in even the tightest spots. The ladies swoon anytime I say, "...I'll just place that on my ႈGB* flash drive." Clear cap can be effortless to shed. I maintain it in my shirt pocket when it's off, no big deal. Water vapor contrails dissipate inside seconds or minutes.

Great write speeds, 83% improvement compared to SanDisk microCruzer.Typical read speed, about eight% improvement compared to exact same microCruzer.Small smaller that most of the USB flash drives on the market place. Clear cap!Caps really should be forbiden by now. I had the product for a handful of days, but I just left the cap in the box, due to the fact I know it's either going to be lost or broken. I've applied a lot of SanDisks and loved their cap-less style with a self-locking hiding connector. That's so straightforward and I would pay ŭ-ten further, but get that rather.

It's incredibly fast & trustworthy, just purchased my 4th one particular, and program on getting one far more. I do a lot of movie & picture editing & this is my decision of flash drives for moving large & tiny files about. It's little & compact & the activity light is there but not annoying. It is smaller enough to fit in any usb port. I own numerous other brand flash drives, But this is my preferance. And did i forget to mention it is fast!!! None Would be good if activity light was a small brighter and cap was a smokey color and plugged on back and could nonetheless see light via cover. But I comprehend the more times the cap is pulled off & place on the faster the tabs put on out.

Good functionality with NTFS format and compression No activity light. Minus 1 egg.Cap could get lost.Request to ALL producers who use removable caps: if you can't attach the cap, please place a loop on it like the lanyard attachment so we can tie them with each other ourselves. That wouldn't expense you nearly as a lot as attaching the cap yourself, and we can tie them with something uglier but considerably more powerful than what Adata uses to attach some of their caps. (think heavy-duty fishing line). This is a comparitive overview of the 32gb Patriot Razzo and 32 gb Muskin Mulholland. The Muskin is cheaper, but the Patriot has an activity light. Each have sturdy-seeking plastic lanyard attachments and loseable clear plastic covers. The huge difference is performance with ntfs format.Test results copying 7.16 gb of compressed files to them in their native Fat32 format: near-tie at Muskin 53 minutes, Patriot 54. With NTFS, indexing on and compression off: Muskin 52 min, Patriot up to 112. With indexing off and compression on, Mushkin 84 min, Patriot up to an unbearable 184 minutes. All tests on XP, working with xcopy in a batch file with date & time as component of the prompt; drives optimized for functionality, not rapid removal; files on the HD had been compressed; xcopy parms included "/v" to make it verify. So if you like activity lights and fat32, Patriot is a affordable choice, but otherwise go for the Muskin, particularly if you like NTFS & compression.

Muskin is the only corporation that has sincere specs and they are surrounded by a bunch of carnival barkers that are competing to tell the tallest tale.Years ago I bought some inexpensive ddr2 ocz ram that was rated at 800 speed. Well, it turned out that the personal computer I was constructing, which took ddr2 800, would not boot to that ram and that it only did 800 if you got into the bios and fiddled with a bunch of settings very first. So, I purchased some slower rated Muskin for an additional machine and employed it in mine so I could turn it on. Their slower ram was greater than the quicker rated junk I had. I respected that they just gave me my moneys worth and didn't attempt to fool me.This drive is the exact same.I wanted some thing tiny adequate to plug into the back of a pc with out unplugging the mouse next to it and I wanted it to be larger and more quickly than what I had. The 1st point I bought on Newegg was a flash drive. It's the major tool in my box.I have been waiting for 7 years for one of these to beat the speed of a ฮ laptop challenging drive and a บ cable. With ssd's quoting 200 MB/s writes and reads, you would think that somebody could make a single of these that would just max out usb two. no matter what the file size is.The men and women that will need such a issue acquire and suggest a lot of hardware. You could sell them at a loss for the advertising.Till then, this is a great advertisement for Muskin. It's the top rated rated drive period, I just need more... atto benchmarkK write(MB/s) read(MB/s).5⎟𗾅␖𖗭two┃󣯄⛙𗤄eight𖛉𖶸󞟖󟻾󟱚󠄘󟼙󠄨󠄨󠄨󠄨󣏟The untold story right here is that it does not slow downthrough lengthy random transfers. Great drive, appears to be significantly more quickly than the 'run of the mill'. Worked jsut fine out of the box... no bloat-ware. Cap is clear plastic, and fairly much disappears when you set it on stuff. Properly, this drive would be nice with a red/yellow cap. (etc)... or have the whole issue a strong color.

Fast---Fastest I have owned to date & I have really a few diverse ones. Extremely noticeable with tiny files, where my other drives bog down.Size/shape----About threeǚ the size of some of my other drives. Can use in best/bottom ports and not obstruct the other port. Looks great and doesn't stick way out when working with it in my Car stereo either.Dim green activity light---Yes, it's a pro! as i also use it in my car and my Razzo (which I really like virtually as significantly) nearly blinds me at night. Formatted size in FAT32 is 29.7-29.8GI contacted Mushkin and this IS what you get. Most memory items have much less than advertised space, but just something to be conscious of if you have "plans" for all 32G of the storage. Good drive for the $$!Can't speak about its longevity, but so far, I really like this Drive! Thanks to my fellow reviewers who took time to evaluation this item. The reviews helped me make a decision to buy this a single....I Hope my overview in turn, assists a person else. ;)

Fast, spacious, smaller in size and not overly high priced. Plastic cap doesn't fit on the drive when it is in use and as a result uncomplicated to lose. Plus it's sort of cheesy compared with the quality of the drive itself. Fastest flash drive I've ever owned. (And I have a lot.)
