Cons: Does not come with full toner cartridge

Pros: Fast, quiet, low power, compact, great value
Comment:
I bought this to replace a HP LJ1020 that had only 8MB RAM. I was considering the 64MB Samsung but since I had no problems using the HP with 8MB I decided on the 32MB model. What led me to this model was the fact it had a duplexer built-in and it was compact. I had read a number of reviews on the internet that criticized the print quality (graphics and text) but I found no problems or defects. Perhaps some reviewers have unrealistic expectations from a sub $200 printer. Using this under Mac OS 10.6.2 shared over an Apple Airport Extreme. Haven't tried the ethernet port but that is another added bonus. My only complaint is that Samsung (like Lexmark) only gives you a starter toner cartridge rather than a regular full toner cartridge.

Cons: A little hard to get the toner in, only USB cable provided (no network cable)

Pros: Great price for laser, network attached, toner saver, upgradeable ram, dublex
Comment:
So far so good. In Windows 7 x64 I had to manually add the printer (disk setup software could not find it) but it works flawlessly. In XP the setup software worked fine. I upgrade the ram with an old 128mb sdram sodimm I had (this is the max amount you can add) and it works fine. You have to go into your printer settings to "enable" the ram (let Windows know the printer has more than 32mb) but besides that it all worked great! Cons: No LCD display

Pros: Duplexing, quiet, and good print quality
Comment:
These are good little printers for the price. However, the ML-3051ND that was discontinued (and was the same price as the 2851ND) was better in that it had an LCD display and larger toner cartridges. If you can find the 3051ND, go with that. Otherwise, you the 2851ND is still a very good printer.

Pros: - *VERY* Quiet- Duplexes- Network Support- Small Size For a Duplexing Laser Printer
Comment:
This printer is very quiet and print speed is good. The duplex feature is awesome: I can save on paper and have less to carry around with me. Samsung advertises this as the world's smallest duplexing laser printer, and it just might.Whether the printer is connected via USB or ethernet the driver installs quickly. If using ethernet you just choose the networked option in the driver setup, and it will automatically find your printer (and that's it).The toner is about $100 for a 4K cartridge, which is nothing special but better than most brands.

Cons: Hard to install on network with Windowx XP

Pros: Network and Duplex printing for less than 200$
Comment:
Great Printer with a good guality for everyday prints. Can do a lot of prints in a short time. With the Ethernet port, it can be plugged almost anywhere and it's easy to share the printer with all the computer in ypur network. Do not expect a superb printing of picture though.

Cons: No cables included

Pros: Duplex, Network, Price
Comment:
I've been keeping my eyes open for a decent price on a Duplex / Network enabled laser printer and this one seems to fit the bill.Easy to set up, quiet, and fast (blisteringly fast compared to a standard consumer grade inkjet). No issues whatsoever setting it up for network use through a router.Aside from the normal duplex operation, the drivers also offer the ability to print more than one page per sheet which makes it ideal for printing out those pesky PDF manuals without breaking the bank on Paper/toner.Local street prices are $80 for a 2000 sheet toner which compares favorably to other brands.Definately recommend this printer if you're looking for an inexpensive duplex/network printer for home. Cons: -Some might find it big-Warmup is kinda long

Pros: -Built in duplex-Built in network-Price-Fast print after warmup-Toner Save Mode-Possibility for 4k pages toner
Comment:
Bought this printer in a local store a couple days ago. At the moment, it's the cheapest duplex printer. As a bonus, it has a network connection. It's printing is really fast after warmup and will chew rapidly through the 150 sheet paper tray. The best of this little beast is the Toner Save Mode that will print with less resources than the normal mode which will help extend the durability of your toner, it will save up to 40% according to Samsung. It ships with a 1k pages toner.Very recommended for heavy home printing or light enterprise workload.
