Cons: Awkward volume button.
Pros: Great sound quality. Decent bass, but won't rock your desk. |

Cons:
It's usb powered only, which I missed when I spec'd it! My bad, I know. But damn.
Pros: Small, very portable, ok sound - low to medium volume capability. Comment:
Once I found a usb adaptor, I fired it up and attached my Ipod. The volume control is push button. Sound quality (considering source) is ok. It works, and sounds better attached to a laptop. Wish it could put out more volume. I may return it, and get a three-way instead for better bass. Still, it's a great design. I look forward to the next iteration. Cons:
Lame sound adjustment button
Pros: Sound quality and clarity Comment:
Bought this as I needed something to skype with other then my horrible laptop speakers. The sound quality is very good, especially for a small sound bar. With bass boost enabled the sound is excellent with no distortion at full volume. Only the sound control button is lame, requiring you to tap it to increase volume and hold it in to reduce (or is that the other way around?).I have been using this sound bar with my IPOD and I am incredibly happy with it. Also watching THE PACIFIC on my laptop with this bar and everything is clear, with the booms BOOMING. |

Cons:
Volume knob is actually a push-button, which not very convenient.
Pros: Much better sound than most laptop speakers. Comment:
First impression was that the unit is well built. Housing is made of aluminum and the front speaker grille is also made of metal. Only the ends of the speaker are plastic. Has a very solid feel to it. There are also rubber feet to keep it from sliding. As far as the sound quality goes, it is quite good for such a small unit. I'd say it's better than some of the very best built-in notebook speakers. The unit also goes very loud without much distortion at all. Much louder than any built-in notebook speakers I've heard. My only complaint is that the volume knob is actually a push button which you press repeatedly to increase, and hold down to decrease. I would much prefer if it was an actually knob that you turn. That being said, when used with USB as the sound source the button only changes the Windows volume level, so it's not that big of a deal, I have volume controls on my keyboard.Overall, this unit is a great little speaker to carry around when you travel if you want something better than your notebook's built-in speakers and can't carry a full set of PC speakers around. |
Great speakers for its value. Much better than any built-in laptop speakers. Changing volume is very awkward, it's better to do it on the software side. I recommend this product to anyone.
