I'm playing my cell phone through this. I had to buy a 3.5 to 2.5mm adapter to fit my phone. Sometimes I get a little engine noise come through but I had that with my CB so it may be my cars wiring. The display is hard to read in daylight and therefore difficult to adjust while driving, but once its set you should be fine. I have to crank my stereo to get much volume from this so its not putting out a very powerful signal. But its cheap and its better than listening to the speakers on my cellphone's mp3 player.

Works well with my XM satellite radio but poorly with my Samsung MP3 player. It picks up some alternator whine but not to an excessive extent. I have not tried to filter out the noise yet. I did not have any problems downloading mp3 music to it but prefer to use my MP3 player as a the source since it is easier to select the music.

Definitey a good value but the manual that comes with it is missing info. Got the Whole manual from Machspeeds website. If refers to Windows Media CarTunes 10 and even shows how to use it BUT did a site and Net search and found nothing. Also, not in the book, Holding the Next Play raises and Holding Last Play lowers the players volume.

This works great, was easy to work, my car's radio did not have a cd player, so this saved me from having to buy another system for the car so that I could listen to my own music.

I've tried 5 different wireless FM transmitters, and this one works. My car's antenna is on the back window and most of these transmitters can't send a strong enough signal to sound good. This one does, the internal MP3 players works ok, but the file system is a little different, the LCD is hard to read sometimes, and the volume is a little low, but I just turn the radio up. Highly recommended!

Got it to replace a high-end product that had a loose wire. This item works fine, and the internal memory is a nice touch when my mp3 player's battery runs out. Still, the readout is difficult to read during the day, and the file system is bit counter-intuitive. The output can be a bit low-volume, but that was a problem with my previous transmitter as well

I bought this with moderate expectations, and am not disappointed. Having MANY frequencies to choose from is a big plus, and sound quality through the input jack is very good. However, I have 2 complaints. First, the player itself is a little less than robust, but that is easily solved with a $4 power splitter from any automotive store or box-mart. Plug the device into the splitter and leave it, then plug in and pull out the splitter. Secondly, music played from the built-in memory seems to be prone to static and distortion in the higher ranges - cymbals, sung ''S''s and the like. But playback through the line input is MUCH better. For the money, this is a great product. Just don't expect it to rival a new $200 in-dash CD deck.

This product is a good value. A basic FM transmitter is not much less than the price of this, and this unit holds 2gb of music, which makes it very convenient. Pros: - Great value - Simple Operation - Seems to have a strong enough signal to overcome local radio station signals, so sound quality seems pretty good Cons - - Some difficulty getting PC to recognize it as a drive - Menus have randomly appeared in Chinese - Options for accessing music loaded on the device are limited Summary: Product has some quirks, but I would definitely buy it again based on the value it represents. Plan to get two more for my other cars.

I bought this for my best friend for his birthday , he wanted to play his mp3 in his new car. I was looking at a transmitter (it cost less) but the reviews were horable. So i ordered this , and wow this thing could cost 70 bucks in your local store It does everything, your local store sell one that just transmits for 69 bucks , buy it !

I have purchased two of these the first one i got worked fine but was put together wrong causing a power short which blew the fuse in my car. Upon receiving the second one I examined it to make sure it did not have the same fault and it was perfect. Works great no buzzing or distortion. but will only play music from the first folder it accesses. If you have your music sorted into folders on the internal 2gb then you will notice this. That is what you get for $24.99.

Works good. Transmitts well, minor distortion sometimes. Having the built-in memory over a regular FM transmitter is great. The only problem no remote, having with a remote would make using eaiser. My 12v plug in he car is with-in easy reach but still can be troublesome.

I bought two of these. The first one lasted one year of daily use and died, after looking around, bought the second one because it is the best value I could find. The good: it works great, doesn't overheat in the sun or freeze up in the winter like other ones I had, and by being plugged into the lighter socket it doesn't roll around the car and no wires to tangle. Some other transmitters have to be physically very close to the radio to work well, this one doesn't and still works great. The bad: there is no random play option. Also, my first one didn't do this, but my second one shuts down when I try to fast-forward. It might have a problem when loaded with too many songs. I would still buy it again.

Pros: Incredible broadcast strength that easily overtakes interference from local radio stations. The sound is very clear, even far away from the car that it's playing from. Although small, this product PACKS POWER and RANGE! $25 for this seemingly industrial-strength product??? Cons: Built in music player, while functional, does not allow a lot of playback options. However, I just hook up my iPod via headphone in, and works like a charm. Consensus: MUST buy, even if you have no need for one now, this is an AMAZING deal on a SUPER product!

I have purchased 7 of these devices. Some for fellow workers and some for me and mine. These transmitters work absolutely great as just a simple transmitter and MP3 player goes. The older model allowed you to use a thumb drive in the USB slot and also had a slot for an SD card. Tech support at Mach Speed said to leave the internal memory blank to use a thumb drive but the 5 devices tried so far will not work with a thumb drive. Hope they fix this in the next model and put the SD card slot back in it (hopefully with no limit in size of card). They also need to make it faster to scroll through the list of MP3's on your drive. Very slow, one song at a time. But it is still a good device. I will be looking forward to the next generation of them.

Nice little gadget! The MP3's are crystal clear and 2 GB is plenty for me. I was worried after reading some of the reviews that the songs would start over at the beginning of the collection once the car was turned off. That's not the case however, when the unti starts up again, it does start at the beginning of the song rather than the exact spot you left it. I think there was another review that said it didn't turn off when the car was shut off. That's not the case, it powers down when the car is turned off. It does play songs in the order they were copied and a shuffle feature would be nice. But, I think it's good value for the money.

I was very skeptical about purchasing this device. (You get what you pay for.) But I am pleasantly surprised. It works well. It's smaller than it looks; smaller than a grade AA large egg. The screen is tiny, and the plastic shell is a bit flimsy. However, it performs as advertised. As noted by others, it doesn't offer a shuffle mode. And there is no way to turn it off other than to unplug it. Boot up time is short. It only plays songs in the order you transfer them. Sound quality is quite good, although there is a slight backround buzz (probably the processor clock). You don't notice the buzz unless the car is absolutely dead quiet. The FM transmitter is strong. This is a great device to inexpensively add mp3's to any vehicle with a factory radio that doesn't offer mp3 playback. I'm going to buy another.
