Cons: The stand is kind of dumb, but you aren't looking at it so who cares, I guess? :p

Pros: LEDVivid color and dark blacks.Has a really cool metallic gloss/piano black frame.
Comment:
I'm using this as a secondary screen to a wall mounted 42" which I've been using for everything. Going back to using a monitor is great. It's just feels a litttttttle sharper than the full blown TV. This is also an exceptional display, so it just makes it that much better. I'm very happy with it.

This is a great monitor. I got this to replace a 19" ViewSonic that died on me. It's a great deal for the price and the image is very sharp. The only problem for some people, may be the adjusting of the angle. The max adjust that the monitor does is the right adjustment for me. But im 6 foot 4" and I need it back a bit where im looking down onto it.

Very good monitor with a good warranty. I like verything of it except for the fact that it has no real stand, kind of bizard but you get used to it. Recommended

Pros: VERY thinnice coloursno ghosting at all when i'm watching movies
Comment:
Purchased this monitor to replace a broken 20.1" LG and it was a huge difference. Many people are complaining about the stand but I don't think it's that big of a deal, i use a few books to balance the monitor to view it at 90 degrees.

Cons: feels a little cheap

Pros: Great color, contrast, price, looks good solo on desk
Comment:
Grabbed this on sale for my wife's PC, and she couldnt be happier with it. large, easy to read, and the colors are nice and bright. Im a little dissiapointed with the quality of the build, as it feels a little cheap to me, but it's an LCD monitor after all, and isnt exactly going to be thrown around or anything.

Cons: the stand is a bit shaky

Pros: Color, size, touch snesitive buttons, 1080p
Comment:
Got this one in special, and for the price, its hard to beat, the only thing is that to use DVI you need to use the HDMI to DVI cable (wich is supplied with +) but you can't use both at the same timecolor are better than my other monitors, the stand is a bit weird at first, but still the monitor is so lightweight that the support can easilly hold itoverall its a great monitor for the price

Cons: The base, although it is surprisingly sturdy.

Pros: It's cheap. In a good way.1080p, 23.6"
Comment:
Great screen, great deal. 24" is a great size. This replaced a Dell 17" monitor that was bundled with an internet package. I would have liked to see a better base/mount but the ring stand is actually quite sturdy. I think the ML236 has a different stand but I ordered this one because it was in stock and ten bucks cheaper. The other differences between the two might be something worth looking into...

Cons: Saturation of colors is difficult to tune.

Pros: Amazing. Some small issues here and there.
Comment:
Highly recommended. Been using it for 3 days now. Stand may seem a little clumsy but it gets the job done and the monitor looks really good. For the price, it's pretty much as good as it gets for an LED LCD.Really happy overall. The saturation of colors is hard to tune and isn't always accurate, but since I don't use it for designing, no issues for me.I really like the design. Some reviews complain about its practicality but I think it looks great!

Cons: Stand Usual TFT Panel weaknesses like Viewing Angles

Pros: StylishGreat PictureCheap
Comment:
Really liking this Monitor, but immediately noticed the usual TFT colour accuracy and viewing angle limitations compared to my now retired Mitsubishi Diamondtron CRT. Despite those shortcomings, the output still looks great and in some ways is better than my CRT.The Stand isn't horrible, just a weakness. I like the way it looks and the monitor is certainly stable, but it just doesn't quite stand as Upright as I need it. So I, like at least one other person I know about, have put a small booklet under the stand to tilt it forward. A minor "Mod". :DI have no experience with other current Monitors in this Price range, but can say that if they need a Cheap 23(ish)" Monitor, this would be an excellent choice.

Cons: - None so far

Pros: - Very light weight- Pretty sexy looking- Great image
Comment:
Had this monitor for just about a month now. It's been great so far, no complaints at all.The biggest complaint from others seems to be with its stand and lack of adjustability. But no complaints from me. I use the "more upright" position and have it sitting on my desk with the top of the monitor just below my eye-level; so the angle of the monitor is just right.Overall very nice product. Picture is much more vibrant than my previous LCD. Very sleek as well.

Cons: -must sit higher than monitor and view down onto the monitor or else colours become not accurate and appears too dark-green appears too green, but i notice this is the normal with most led monitors (ie.s243hl)

Pros: -decent colours-great contrast-limited ghosting-great side viewing angle
Comment:
nine months, i have no complaints. price was slightly higher when it was purchased, but nonetheless still a good deal.

Cons: -Can't adjust height of monitor-Monitor is at a slight angle past vertical, and can't be changed to be 90 degrees, or upright.

Pros: -Extreme clarity, vividness-Very thin and low profile
Comment:
The clarity and brightness of this monitor surpassed all my expectations- truly is a pleasure to stare at. My previous 20" Dell Ultra Sharp pales in comparison to this one. I'm still in awe of how crystal clear this monitor is, not to mention it uses 50% less energy than my Dell (30 watts versus 75 watts). Not sure if this is just the nature of LED panels, but very pleased with the monitor so far.

Cons: -Loses a lot of sales probably because the bad reputation of the ring stand.

Pros: -Size-Touch Sensitive buttons-SUPER thin-Ring Stand is actually GOOD
Comment:
So I have had this monitor for about a week now and I must say that I love it! I read up a lot about it because I wanted to make sure I made the right decision when buying my next monitor. I heard a lot of people saying how bad the Ring style stand is for it, but in reality there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. This monitor is as sturdy as any other the only difference being that this one is ULTRA SLIM! This thing is no wider than my thumb wide at the thickest part. If you are in the market for a monitor, buy this one! It is super cheap but super good quality at the same time. You won't be dissapointed unless you hate good things =)

Cons: the blacks in movies or video clips, youtube, etc. are bad. They look very blotchey. I dont know if this is with the monitor or the video quality. (its still very visible in 1080 in youtube)

Pros: Great picture quality, 2 ms response time, "ULTRA" slim...the frame is like 1 inch give or take a few cm. Also GREEN!
Comment:
Overall great monitor. Great Pictures and sleek design. The stand is not a weakness to me (install the plastic support on the stand for extra support). Only negative is the blotchey blacks in most/if not all videos. if anyone knows a fix to that lemme know please!

Pros: Beautiful ColorsSleek looking design in my opinion, Very ThinGames and blue ray movies look AMAZING.Price is very fair.

When I first grabbed this thing out of the box. I thought it felt extremely light and had a very "plastic" feel to it as if I was picking up a cheap toy. However as soon as I turned this LCD on, I was extremely impressed with the Quality of Image it displayed. Especially in "Scenery mode" Would buy again.

Cons: Funny tilt corrected by a pile of disks

Pros: Looks nicePerforms accordinglyBright and colourful
Comment:
Overall this has been performing magnificently as my primary gaming monitor paired with the 5650 as an external monitor for the Y460 (notebook). I have been enjoying crystal clear gaming with bad company 2, tf2, l4d, penumbra, resident evil 5, bioshock, just to name a few.I think the tilt is a little wonky for my liking, but easily corrected by a stack of cds. Any issues i have heard about this monitor tipping over i have not experienced, however I don't usually throw my computer desk around or place automobiles on top of it. I am sure there may have been some cases of the monitor falling over, But i don't suspect with will ever be an issue for me.

Pros: Color (dont let other comments fool you)Design (ring stand and slimness, balck finish)Stand (Suprisingly sturdy, very easy degree adjust)Touch buttons (actually very reasonable to use, dont let other comments fool you)
Comment:
I was a little worried when i purchased this monitor because i heard the stand was basically lose-lose. However, you actually have to try to tip this monitor over (unless you are playing soccer in the house [at work], this monitor will not fall over. Secondly, the color is great! I especially like the scenery pre-set. Third, the design is drewl-worthy, you cant beat the slimness of this monitor. Plus it has an outside power supply. I woould recomend this to a gamer or picture related artists.Last note: Their have been really negative reviews about this monitor, and for good reason (it is differant). But ive, even tested those negative reviews and found that they were exhaderated to high ends.If you get this monitor on sale... you're rockin' a great deal! If not, its still an amazing monitor for the price.

Cons: It's not the best monitor.

Pros: It's a very good monitor.
Comment:
I'm running this monitor from my Macbook Pro. Compared to the screen on my Macbook, this monitor is not as good, it's not as sharp and not as precise in it's colors. Apple monitors are known to be of superb quality, but the equivalent 24-inch Cinema Display from Apple costs roughly 4 times more than this one from Asus. This Asus monitor is 25% of the price of an Apple Cinema Display, but the quality is 90% of the Apple product, which is to say this is a very good monitor. I would recommend this Asus monitor. The Asus monitor is not as bright as the MacBook's display, and I can't quite match the color quality of the two even after tinkering with the computer and monitor settings for some time. This might be due to the fact that Apple's displays are glossy and this one from Asus is matte. But the difference in quality is just a matter of note and not a serious setback.I have no problems with the ring-stand design, the monitor is stable and in no danger of spontaneously falling over. I quite like the minimalist design. It takes up less space on my desktop, although I can't store papers or books under it like I can under a conventional monitor stand. For me this is not a problem. Also it doesn't offer a wide range of tilt angles, I read somewhere it only offers 10-degrees of adjustment, but this also is not a problem. The range of adjustment is suitable for common desktop usage. The Asus monitor is astonishingly light weight and thin, and the ring stand is easily removed with a thumb screw. It would be very possible to tote it around for traveling or special presentations. The power cord attaches via a common DC voltage adaptor plug, not with a bigger AC type plug. Everything about this monitor is light weight, efficient and well planned out.For the price of this monitor and the quality it offers, I have no complaints at all. If you can afford $1000 for an Apple Cinema Display, lucky you! This review was modfied by poster @ 07-06-10 10:54 PM

Cons: -Ring stand, when your plugging in cables from the back you have the hold the front so the monitor doesn't fall down-Tilted back which could be a problem if your desk is a lot higher than your seat

Pros: -23", 1920 x 1080-LED, bright image-Aesthetic look
Comment:
Bought this monitor to replace my old Samsung Syncmaster 920Nw and I must say I am impressed with this monitor. It looks MUCH better than my old monitor, some people might not like the ring but since my desk isn't too much taller than my seat I find the tilt to be fine.

Great Monitor for the price. This is my main gaming monitor and everything looks amazing. I don't have a Blu-Ray drive, but I am thinking about it for this monitor. Stand is kind of weird, but after setup I have had no issues with it or the viewing angle.I was a bit hesitant about getting this monitor because it just seems a bit too unique compared to going with the other safer LCD's, but it hasn't disappointed, everyone I have shown it too has loved it.

i dont believe that this is 10m to 1 dynamic, but its a wonderful monitor, and it was more than i was expecting. the only thing that i think is not good, is that this beast is on 60 hertz in refresh, i was hoping for at least 75. but 120 hertz would be a really nice one. also i paid for mine 209 paper with shipping and handling. im thinking of buying another one for my other computers. overall, ppl complain that there box was damaged ahm BS, BS, BS, mine came in condition as if i packaged it. really nice on watching 1080p true material, also for gaming you can find a better deal like this one and as better monitor slash gaming screen for same price anywhere. would defiantly recommend to ppl upgrading from there old 19 inch lcd monitors. after i used it for a bit and went back to my other computer with 19 inch, WOW my 19inch used to look so big, then this MONSTER came along LOVE IT
