Fit perfectly on a Gigabyte GA-MA770T-UD3P and on a GA-870A-UD3 , very good cooling, about 20 - 25 degre cooler .... be aware it WONT fit on a GA-MA770-UD3 the mosfet are not same as MA770T-UD3P , very nice cooler, i recommand it , especialy if you want to overclock !!! |

Got this for a Gigabyte GA-MA770-UD3 AM2+ motherboard but it doesn't fit. Need a longer one for this board. I have used these on other boards and they cool well. If it fit I would have been very happy but it is my fault for not measuring the holes (even though it mentions that is fits the GA-MA770T-UD3P it does not fit my GA-MA770-UD3 which are virtually the same). |
I was a little worried about this heat sink not fitting on the Gigabyte 870A-UD3 because of unanswered questions here on the forums. But it fits. The pins are not perfectly aligned but the gap between the hole and the second pin (when the first pin is in) is so small that I had no trouble installing it. Clearance with the CPU heat sink (Hyper 212 Plus) gave me no problem either (the CPU heat sink was installed with front-to-back orientation).Out of the box, some pins were already bent. They're easily movable and I imagine that with only a small force applied they could break so one has to be careful when handling it.
