Cons:
Took me a minute to realize I had to manually tell it to look at the HDMI slot 1, since the default was VGA. Doh!The HDMI/DVI cable should be longer, by at least 2-3 feet! It would have been nice for the monitor to have a DVI port then I could have reused my 10ft DVI cable! In a year I'll have bought an HDMI video card by then so I'll make due...

I'm a gamer so I like the large screen for games. I also watch TV through my computer. It's large enough for me to sit back on my couch and watch it. But not so large that I can't sit up close to it when playing games etc. I also wanted to replace my 27" TV so I could have my computer system and my TV center all rolled into one to save space, and look less cluttered.I tried the speakers, they work. But I don't use them. I have a 5.1 surround system that are higher wattage than the little ones in the monitor. I think the remote is a handy idea for people who use the speakers!I got this price matched and also got the rebate so I got it for a pretty good price. On the ASUS website they have a 27" with built in 2mb webcam, which would be more useful than the little speakers that this monitor has for me. Unfortunately NCIX doesn't have the one with the built in webcam, so I got this one instead.
