I bought this to replace my dying Sony X-10, which I will replace with a plain phone. I don't really need a data plan.This thing is MUCH better than I thought it was going to be. Yes, it could use a dual or quad CPU because it gets sluggish, or it lags sometimes, especially while browsing. But come on... I don't expect the least expensive device to perform as well as the most expensive one!It's nice, looks clean, does everything I need and then some, has some features (HDMI, USB, SD slot etc) that even the big boys don't have, doesn't lock me in, and it's over 300$ LESS than they are...If you are thinking about getting a Tablet but arent sure.... try this one! It's only 99$, try it, learn to use it. If you only use it a little bit then you have your money's worth. If it becomes a vital tool... give it to your kids and buy the big boys... or keep it.I would say this line of tablets is the best entry level tablet device you will find...

I picked this up last Friday. For the price it is a pretty decent device, though don't expect to be doing any long use without power. The battery will last only 1-3 hours or so. It doesn't charge while plugged into my computer's USB as well. But it will serve the purpose I bought it for, which is to see if I will get any use of out a tablet.

I've seen a lot of videos about tablets with about the same specs or some version of it and I'm glad I've got this 1.2ghz and 1gb of ram version because it runs very smoothly. The scrolling with the touch screen on web browing is smooth, responsive and accurate. The Mali 400 gpu in it is quite capable. It runs The Sims, Final Fantasy 3, Rise of glory and other 3D games with a decent and for the most part, solid 30 fps.The Screen, when it's watched at the sweet spot, the image is clear, bright and colorful, definitly a HD feel to it. This resolution is ok with 7in.One big black point though, the viewing angle of the screen is no good at all, it have an amplitude of about 30°, outside of it, the quality of the image falls apart. I was totally expecting this and you should too if you're thinking about this tablet. It's lightweight so it's not too bad to hold it right. I like this little thing a lot. It's awesome to look at FAQ while I game on my pc etc. The specs of it makes it shine, with a 1ghz, 512 ram version, I'm not sure I'd be that happy with this tablet, The 1.2 ghz + 1gb ram makes it a decent tablet for browsing. Get it if you're not expecting to put it on your laps and watch movies from any angles. It's simple to put something behind it with the case included though

Great overall product for this unbeatable price. It's not a Nexus or iPad but it's a very good compromise.

This tablet has more RAM and flash than a lot of others at this price point, which makes a difference. Android runs out of room for apps with smaller flash partitions, so the extra space helps. Works out of the box with Google Play apps, very few apps showing as not compatible. Already rooted. USB OTG support is very nice for external devices. Docs list GSM adapter support but it also works with external keyboards and drives. Even worked with USB serial adapter (app needed) and USB ethernet dongle (built in support).
