I looked around and $10 is the best price for a usb pci board. Its nice to have 5 usb ports and it is fast and easy to plug in. Pretty much plug and play. Transferring file is really fast. |

Tried this thing on 2 different computers; a Windows 2000 Pro and a Windows XP. It refused to install the drivers, and said it thought the card may have malfunctioned. I tried it again and again with no luck, and even Computer One had no luck with it! |

The price was rite with this product. I installed the hardware and the drivers worked without a hitch on the Windows 98 OS. Of course it is a basic USB adapter, it doesn't light up or anything, so I gave it 4 stars for Features. Hard to say no for only $10. |

My mobo is supposed to support 2.0, but I could never get it to work, no matter what driver I installed. I was worried about the mini cd also, as I didn't know which driver to use. But it auto installed instantly under XPsp3 and has worked flawlessly. I also used extension cable to have front port...love that feature! Thanks, Tiger! |

This is a great product that kicked my computer into overdrive! My Motherboard only supported USB 1.0 which made all my peripherals run at half there speed or worse! Now with the addition of this extremely cheap PCI Card, everything is lightning fast! I backed-up my 20 Gigs of hard drive (about 15 gigs used) in just over 15 minutes! It took 2 days before!!! I love my computer again thanks to this cheap little addition . . . Should have done it years ago!!! |

needed it because My mobo only had 4 in back plus the intel mobo i bought wouldn't boot when I had my infered web cam plugged in & I hated unplugging & plugging it so I I bought it and it does what it says no problems installed automactically in xp now I have no booting problems END |

Looked at it and decided to go with a front panel type USB expansion. Wrote this review to say that this retailer was absolutely world class when I called and said I wanted to do an exchange. Easiest exchange process in my life. Will never buy electronics anywhere else EVER. |

This devicecame without one piece of literature at all! Luckily I knew how to put the card into the computer, BUT not one pice of paper to tell you which driver to use with that card. The mini-CD comes with about 6 different USB card softwares; depends on which type you get I suppose. Plus their are other card softwares on that CD. If you unknowingly put in the wrong card, this could cause big trouble. Put the CD into the player, and let hardware manager scan for the proper driver is your vest cet. MY ADVICE: GET A BETTER CARD! |
Once I seated the card correctly it worked for me. The card picked up my external drives and internal usb led controller.(Intel motherboard running WinXP Pro)
