Faster than Sandisk and much-much more faster than any HDD. Anything boots and starts in seconds. Will by again.

Pros: Equal read/write speedsIt's an SSD.. so its fastLogo side faces out to windows.
Comment:
Computer boots in under 15 seconds. Sometimes 10. 250G is enough for a windows 8.1 OS and about 100G or so left to spare for the games/programs you play most often. It's a bit more expensive than other SSDs, but you're also paying for peace of mind with Samsung quality.

Cons: TLC flash has less write cycles as expected but still more than enough

Pros: -works great-turbo mode is quick for small tasks-doesnt use much power
Comment:
Although not suitable for heavy disk writes, the SSD is great for everyday PCs and will be great for laptops

Cons: BSOD any time the drive has to do anything other than surfing Facebook.

Pros: Very fast (as most SSD will be, so no surprise there)Nothing else comes to mind.
Comment:
This is a really nice drive with tons of features, which is the very reason I decided to go with this drive. However, please beware of this drive. Not all features are a plus. In particular, the RAPID feature which is designed to increase performance actually serves to destabilize high-end systems. Every single time I had my PC doing anything even relatively intensive, it would immediately give a BSOD with the message "SamsungRapidDiskFltr.sys" was the culprit. Well, I don't have to be a PC Guru to know what that means. ;)So far, no issues after I disabled that feature, but time will tell.Overall, I would not recommend this drive to anyone if you are hoping to have the best. There are better options. I never had any issues with my Corsair or Intel SSD's. This was a good buy and I have always trusted Samsung as a company, so I thought, why not? This is why not. Features that are supposed to improve performance should not destabilize the entire system.

My computer boot-up between 5 and 10 seconds. It's so fast compared to the HDD. I've compared many SDD for the capacity, the price, the reviews and this is the one that I decided to buy.

I usually go for Kingston SSD, however there has been a problem with those drives lately so I"m sticking with the Samsung. I did benchmarks on this drive and it performs very well.

Cons: Price

Pros: Speed, Reliability
Comment:
I've purchased a few of these for other people, and use one as my main drive in my gaming PC. It replaced an older 240gb Mushkin Chronos Deluxe. Honestly - not a noticeable difference in speed at all, but nonetheless I am happy with this drive and will continue to recommend it to others. Great speed, good reviews online everywhere, supposedly very reliable (I have yet to see any issues with one).

Cons: Nothing so far

Pros: Fast and easy to use. Migration software really nice. Magician software really increased speed to SLC like levels
Comment:
Spent much time pondering between this the Intel 530, and the ADATA SX900. They all have their own strengths so I decided on this drive due to a balance of warrenty, price, and online reviews. With Rapid mode enabled have 1216 Seq Read, 594 Seq write. 65K Read and 47K Write IOPS. Comming from an old 1TB spinner couldn't be happier. Now just need to see how the new TLC wear goes. Even with minimum of 1000 P/E cycles should last me 10+ years at my usage levels.

Cons: -none worth taking a star off

Pros: -Fast-Great name
Comment:
This is a great drive so far. Only one issue which is partially my fault for not checking before buying. It does not come with any screws to attach it to a 2.5" to 3.5" adapter. Also, it didn't come with a 2.5" to 3.5" adapter. It never says it comes with these, but I would at least expect screws. Not taking a star off for something I didn't look into. I have a box of spare parts that I was able to take screws from. This is my 3rd drive, and my 2nd ssd.

Pros: Very quick, does its job well, cool grey colour scheme.
Comment:
I've been nothing but impressed with this drive since I got my computer built and running, although coming from mechanical HDD's I think everyone has more or less the same thing to say about SSD's. I've read that there are technically 'better' types of flash memory, but I doubt the average consumer would notice any difference and the pricing of the Samsung drives makes them very compelling. The only other brand I might have tried is Intel.

Cons: - The Samsung Migration software is worthless. I'm removing a star only for this. I tried on multiple occasions to migrate my OS from my previous SSD to the Samsung, and despite waiting the whole way up to 100%, it gave me an error message saying the cloning had failed at the end. I had to use Acronis True Image which did the job perfectly.- The drive itself is not as impressive as I had expected, but my expectations were high. Only the fact that RAPID mode is enabled makes a real difference, and I am glad I purchased it for this alone. My previous Sandisk Extreme 1 (a somewhat dated SSD) offered the same real world performance, and in benchmarks, not that far off either, except for writes. I expected a bit better from TurboWrite.

Pros: At $160 during Black Friday sale, it's a good price for such a recent 250Gb SSD.- RAPID technology is great. I own a UPS so I am not worried about data loss. The performance increase is noticeable.- The Samsung Magician software is quite good. Has all the tweaks and even a benchmark utility.
Comment:
If, like me, you feel like upgrading an older SSD to this, you might want to wait until something more revolutionary hits the market. There is a noticeable improvement over my previous SanDisk Extreme, but it is solely because of RAPID and it is rather marginal. If you are not gonna use RAPID, and you want to upgrade an older SSD, I would recommend you not to. On the other hand, this is a great drive to pick up if you want to upgrade any HDD. Just make sure you have Acronis True Image for the migration process.I haven't updated to the new firmware which is supposed to improve TurboWrite. I have seen some significant speed loss with the newest firmware from website sources, so I'm holding off for now.
