Cons: none.

Pros: Works great and over clocks fairly well for a low price.
Comment:
Bought the other day to upgrade the wife's computer from a evga 260 sc++ that burnt out. Fits the case/board better than the huge 260 and runs almost as nicely as my MSI GTX 460 Talon Hawk. This card out performs the 550TI that costs about the same so if you are looking for a decent card on the cheap this is the card to get.

Pros: Looks great, Fast, Great Graphics, Built Well.
Comment:
This card is simply amazing. I upgraded from an ATI HD4850, and this card kills it. So happy to go back to Nvidia, their cards are bar-none. This is my first MSI card, and I am very pleased, it is built very well. The cyclone cooler is the real kicker, it runs this card at 50°C under full load overclocked! I would highly recommend this card.

Cons: -768MB VRAM-no heatsink on HSF-overclocking overhyped

Pros: -Its a real 460 GTX-Cyclone cooler looks good-Pre-overclocked
Comment:
Probably almost everyone and their little sister owns this card. This card is very popular because it's so cheap yet gives playable framerate. Overclocking however did not live up to expectations. My card cannot do over 800mhz core / 1850mhz vram. Anything above that will cause crashes.

Cons: Requires 2 pci-e? power connectors to start up. A high watt power supply is required. Double expansion slot space.

Pros: Provides good performance at 1920x1080 resolution. Fairly quite when underclocked to nvidia's default 675mhz.
Comment:
Provides good performance/price ratio. Got this on sale with MIR. MIR will be a pain to deal with. This cards comes overclocked. Had to tinker with Nvidia's control panel for a bit to change/underclock this card to nvidia's reference clock speed.

Cons: -3 year warranty not lifetime.-MIR-VRM heatsink would be nice

Pros: -performance per dollar is amazing.-runs cool.-plays most games t 1680x1050 on high settings.
Comment:
Bought this over a month ago when it was t $125 after MIR, latest NCIX price is $100 after MIR...Amazing value at this price huge leap for me upgrading from a 8800GT, plays almost all modern games t 1680x1050 on high settings with no issues. The cyclone heatsink fan keeps the gpu very cool (26C t idle, 53C t load with ambient at 21C). Honestly 768MB memory is sufficient considering this model is much cheaper than the 1GB version. Two of these in SLI makes for a very budget friendly beastly gaming machine (keep in mind 1 rebate per household per MIR program).Only thing to keep in mind is rebate is hit or miss sometimes and it may take 12-16 weeks.

Pros: Great cooling and OC capabilities

**** free gifts don't work, i applied the coupon and i was told it did not apply to Canadian customers... wth! Also my card did NOT have mini-hdmi female port but REGULAR hdmi female port!Paired with a gigabyte 890fxa-ud5 mobo and amd 955 OC to 4.0ghz l 2800mhz CPU-NB this GPU can run BFBC2 at 60fps low 80fps max on MAX settings (AA too) at 1920x1080 when overclocked to 921mhz core and 1050mhz memory l 1.087v at only 51 to 59 degrees. Great cooling features, runs crysis warhead, max settings (4x AA) 35fps consistently. I would recommend the 1gb model. Without OC i would not be happy with the peformance, with OC its perfect. This is definitely a good mid-range card that will play current games and future gaming such as Battlefield 3 with no issues on a 1650x monitor. Comes with a free game, so that is always a plus! :D

The price/performance ratio is very good. The card is silent in idle. It becomes loud under load but it's easy to manage the fan speed through MSI Afterburner so it remains silent.

Cons: Requires 2 x 8 pin power connections. I'd run out of molex plugs!

Pros: VERY quiet, cool and stable. Fits easily into the slot vacated by old 860GTS.
Comment:
The best bang for the buck at the moment, if purchased on sale. DirectX 11 and PCIE 2 will future-proof. MSI's 'Afterburner' the best OC and reporting tool I've used. Power management excellent as it completely throttles back when not under load.

Cons: Started to get loud after a month.

Pros: PowerfulCheapSmallCan alt tab out of video games without stuttering (*cough ATI cough*)
Comment:
Solid video card for the price, you get what you pay for.Plays my games perfect at 1680x1050, starts to get beat down at the 1920x1080 max settings levels on some games. After about a month of ownership, I am starting to hear some noises from the fan.It is possible that the cause of this is my coat-hanger abortion of a rig; lying wide open on a table with all its guts hanging out for the world to see. Once I clean it up and slap the rig together properly, the noise will be negligible.

This card is a great overclocker. Cyclone heatsink keeps it at 54C under full load folding. Mine can do 860 on the core without added voltage. I will be buying for another one of these in the near future and run them in sli.

Pros: Good price, Quiet Fan, Cool temps, good for overclocking
Comment:
It is a very nice product. Very quiet and cool.Overclocks like crazy with MSI afterburner.I can reach 920 Mhz with a bit of voltage added.Temps only reach 55c under full load and the fan is dead silent. The afterburner utility is pretty good too. Lots of option for overclocking and stats monitoring. For the price that it was on sale for (120 after MIR), it has good value especially if you overclock it.

Cons: None for what I want to do with it.

Pros: Runs everything you throw at it with all settings maxed without a hiccup. Playing at 1920x1080 barely even phases it. Silent. Cheap.
Comment:
When I bought this to go with my new Sandy Bridge rig, I figured I was getting a cheap video card to hold me over until I could afford a GTX 570 or 580 and that maybe it would allow me to game at moderate resolution with some settings on medium. Wow was I wrong. I'm not even going to buy anything else in this generation of GPUs, I can max every game out as it is, even Crysis is smooth with High settings on 1920x1200.I only have, and want, one monitor, so I have to believe that the 580 is meant for doing 3 monitors or 3D. If you have one monitor, this card is a bargain! I'm used to spending $400+ in previous generations for this kind of performance and value! Don't let the fact that it has 768MB of RAM discourage you at all, I haven't run into any issues with it.

Cons: Heavy if that counts...Rebates perhaps. If it takes effort and more than a dollar stamp to get a $10 rebate, then we are going nowhere fast..Hot air is not exhausted out, but all is fine with HAF case

Pros: Quiet yet coolPowerfulCost effective
Comment:
I bought this card as a quiet upgrade path for running a high resolution Dell monitor. I was told on buying the monitor that my older 9600GSO would run graphics and video OK despite being a cheap low end card. That proved to be be correct. I was somewhat concerned that now that VDPAU seems to be functioning (Video Decode and Presentation API for Unix) temps might be high. I was unable to get proper temp readings on the old card. This card takes up two slots in height and weighs enough to make a person sure that they have invested well in copper. I don't believe that a machine could be safely transported with one of these cards installed - but a burglar could be subdued with one. This appears to be one solid card from packaging to install! The card is working fine for my purposes off a low end Corsair (550W) PS - but clearly geriatrics like me become suspicious when a card needs two PCIE connectors. Things are working super with low temps and no issues for me. The card is in a HAF case and I have a real (HX) Corsair PS for when my grandson visits and wants to play high res games. Yep I ran glxgears to check function and said "Holy S*".I always seem to do positive reviews. Well stuff works fine for me. If I wanted to do a negative review then I could put together a machine in an older but high end case, put in a lower wattage PS, and use those provided connectors which come with the card.People could get scared finding out what I paid for a video card and monitor in the 90's - but now we would laugh. I remember just a few years ago getting a friend a present of a video card - which then needed a proper heat-sink/fan. The factory HS/Fan was intolerable in terms of noise, and the fix was around $80.We've come a long way.
