Cons: Doesn't push a lot of airHas a molex hard wired to it...

Pros: QuietEasy to disassemble (for painting)
Comment:
If you are looking for some cheap, quiet fans for a radiator or something, this is a great fan. That being said, to use these fans, I repainted them and sleeved the cables, and removed the molex connector. If you can afford Noctuas, get them. If you need airflow for an air cooled PC don't get these

Cons: none

Pros: -silent-moves enough air and enough static pressure to be used on a tight-fins aftermarket cooler
Comment:
One of the best case fans out there, combine this one with Noctua fans and you're in business for a silent computer with efficient cooling!

Cons: none that i can think of

Pros: real silent
Comment:
it is a really silent fan, partly because of its low RPM. it also looks pretty good. i guess it would look pretty good in the Fratcal design case. overall, great fan

I bought one of these on sale, it was decent compared to the alternative noctua fans, its above average, moves air in my case but not as silent as my 4 noctua's.I recomend these if silence is the goal but your on a budget. (silver medal)I recomend the Noctua fan if silence is the goal and price does not matter(Gold Medal)

Cons: Pricey; won't connect to 4-pins CPU_FAN header.

Pros: QUIET. SILENT.
Comment:
They're really quiet and do provide more than adequate airflow if combined with a large heatsink — they'll even allow moderate overclocking. Got 3 of these (1 for CPU, 2 for case) in my last build, and they're whisper quiet - not quite inaudible, but quiet enough that my roommate walking into my room took a few minutes to realize the computer was on. Alternatively you can undervolt them, forget about overclocking, and treat yourself with blissful silence.Definitely recommended.

Cons: Not the best air pusher apparently if that's your concern, is pricey (though worth it in my opinion)

Pros: Awesome quiet fan, looks great, great for the silent PC
Comment:
This fan is awesome, I can't recommend it enough, I replaced the annoyingly loud Antec tri-cools in my P182 with these. These are SilentPC.com's reference fan, if you want to build a silent PC like I, definitely go there and check it out. The noise profile is fairly benign as well, not mention fairly miniscule, I could finally sleep in my room with these now with my computer on overnight downloading which I couldn't before. It's said these aren't too good on airflow, which may be true, but the noise is worth it plus I haven't had any problems in my system with a fanless ASUS 9600GT 512MB PCI-e SILENT video card, 4 internal hard drives, 2 2GB sticks of Patriot DDR2 and an Athlon 7750 Black dual core (mind you I am using an Antec P182 case and a Noctua tower heatsink on the CPU). I've got one of these on the Noctua heatsink, one on the top of the P182 case and 1 at the back, and that's it, 3 fans, low to silent noise and temperatures are very good usually in the range of 39 to high 40s during normal operation/videos without gaming. These are a great asset for a silent PC, and even a gaming PC, as I'm a heavy gamer and consider my PC a gaming PC and am able to run things with my fanless ASUS 512MB 9600GT just fine and cooly at extremely low-noise, I just need to get a fan controller now to be able to tweak the fan speeds a little lower so it becomes truly silent to my ear.I am glad to see NCIX has these back in stock as when I bought it though I had to go elsewhere because they were not carrying it anymore and only carrying the ugly orange version as opposed to the stylish black & white.

Pros: QuietIncludes rubber mounting grommets
Comment:
Very pleased with the quality and low noise made by the fan. Especially when run at 5v. The price might be a bit on the expensive side for fans, but it includes rubber grommets.

Cons: Molex plug hard-wired to fan, its ugly. Low CFM

Pros: Silent, color is nice. Silicon mounts
Comment:
If you want a silent fan, this on pretty much is. But i dislike it for a couple reasons:- Yes it is silent, but at this level of airflow there is not much it will do for cooling.- They hard-wired a molex to the -short- fan cable, not only is it ugly, but it is too short as to be useful for any level of clean cable routing.

Bought two of these to cool down my Antec Sonata III Case and they work great. Down side is the fan that came with the case. Would recommend bying an extra one to replace original case fan.

Bought a pair to cool my pc and keep things quiet - using one as the outtake fan, one on the cpu heatsink. These are very quiet (quieter than the Antec tricool which I replaced) but are still audible if the room is dead quiet - otherwise inaudible.

Cons: Cables, cables, cables!

Pros: Reasonably quiet. Rubber mounting pins. Looks good.
Comment:
I bought a pair of these to complement a near-silent PC build. At 12V these are the quietest 120mm fans I own (not silent, but quiet). When undervolted they are great. This fan does not push a lot of air. My system is based around a lot of passive heatsinks...I want silence. Even with marginal airflow, these fans push enough air to significantly lower my temps. Good for me. In a tighter case I think you may want more airflow...The cables are one area that really bothers me, and would probably push me to another brand (Scythe S-Flex?). The fan comes with a pass-through 4-pin molex power connector (one male, one female), and there is a 3-pin connector wired in as well. Unfortunately, this leaves you with unused plastic connectors hanging in your case along with excess wire. This mess can be difficult to route properly, and you've really got to tie down the excess to prevent the inevitable wire-falling-into-fan situation.Arggh! Please just provide the fan with a simple 3-pin connector and throw in a 4-pin adapter. It would be so much cleaner and nicer to work with. The included rubber mounting pins are a nice touch. I also like the colour scheme...white/black adds a little something over the usual black/black (or orange).

Cons: not sleeved

Pros: quietnice looking
Comment:
The noise level of this fan is very acceptable. However, it seems to spin faster than it should (1150rpm instead of 1000rpm). I guess it is not a problem any way. This works very well with Zalman MFC2 fan controler, whereas Noctua fans do not (the speed display is always wrong, and the fan starts and stops regularly). At this price level, I guess they are close to be the best, if they are not the best.

Two words: Dogs bollocks. Meaning; these are THE fans to get if you are building a quiet computer. They dont move alot of air, but if you use some creative thinking and spend a little money on full-size fan friendly CPU and GPU coolers you can make your actively cooled PC nearly dead silent. In my Thermaltake Tsunami, I am currently pimping a Thermalright Ultra-120 Extreme CPU cooler and a Thermalright HR-03. Both using Nexus fans. I have the cpu cooler right over the rear exhaust fan. In my 5 1/4" bays I have a Scythe Kama bay blowing fresh air from the top of the case straight to the PSU and CPU. And on the bottom front I have an intake aswell cooling the hard drives and providing coolish air to the GPU Cooler. My side panels have sound deadening on them which I didnt find helped very much. So in total I have four 120mm and one 92mm Nexus fans. I have tried maybe 3 other brand name so-called quiet fans but they are cheap immitations. Get the real deal! These mods will make your PC very nice to sit next to. Sure its expensive, but the loudest thing I have to listen to now is the little ballast in my Ikea desklamp... Stupid lamp. ;)

Cons: $$$,Only a bargen for quiet PC people

Pros: Quiet,really quiet.
Comment:
If you want quiet with moderate airflow this is it.It's not going to push a lot of air but it moves a suprising amount considering it is more or less silent even at full speed. If you have a quiet computer and want to keep it cool get this.If your not concerned with noise this may be a waste of money.I have 2 in my Antec Sonota which are much quieter than the 1 stock Antec 120mm and push more air between them. The next fan I get will also be a Nexus if they are all this quiet.

Cons: Does not ship with screws.

Pros: This is a simple, quiet (but not silent) fan. The power cables are a reasonable length, and they mount without too much fuss.
Comment:
I ordered a handful of these fans to lower case temperatures for some older AMD64 machines we ordered from another vendor. The fans mounted easily, and dropped the CPU temps by almost 10C.

I bought this fan at the same time as a Cooler Master Neon Blue 120mm fan. This one is, unsurprisingly, quieter and seems to move more air (according to my 'hand-test').It's a well-made quiet fan.

Cons: Doesn't push a lot of air. May need a more powerful fan to push air through filters in front of case and other areas with restricted airflow.

Pros: Silent, looks better than orange.
Comment:
You can actually SEE the fan spinning! It spins so slow!Great fan for silent cases where you don't need too much airflow. I put one in the front of my case just behind the air filter, but I don't think it's doing much, may need to replace it.Good enough for the Scythe Ninja. AMD64 3000+ is overclocked 25% from 1.8GHz to 2.25GHz but is only 51 degrees C at full load with Prime95.
