ASUS Google Nexus7 32GB 7in Tablet NV Tegra 3.1G Android Jelly Bean 1.2MP GPS BT IPS Display
Very Good

Rating: 9.11/10

Review Date: 09/25/13
Cons: no flash,no sd/microsd expansion slot

Pros: Size.Easy to held.
Had a TF300 before and was satisfied. Nexus 7 is smaller of course but everything else is better.Fast precise easy to use.Got it on sale for 224$ with free shipping. SD slot would be nice.

Cons: * None so far

Pros: * Fast* Easily unlockable and rootable
It is my first tablet and it run solid.I don't have any of the problems with the first version (like for the screen), maybe they finally fixed them. The 32 gb are sufficient for my use, and overall the tablet is really fast.I put it in a otterbox case.My uses: ebooks/pdf reading, navigation, emulators, internet phone and wifi radio

Review Date: 06/16/13
Cons: No SD card slots, low sound quality.

Pros: Fast, clear crisp screen, tons of free apps.good price point.
My first tablet was the Asus transformer, loved it but the size was a bit too much. This tablet is faster with the quad core...gaming browsing etc is much nicer. The 7 inch size is perfect for on the couch or on the go, but its at just the right size for dropping it more easily so a case is a good idea. The voice browsing works awesome. I am disappointed there is no sd expansion slot....pretty small item to include a micro slot Asus ? At this price to performance ratio you cant go wrong. Works as it should and fast shipping from NCIX as usual.

Cons: Poor Quality, poor support from NCIX

Pros: Good performance when not defective, good support from ASUS
Bought 2 of these, both had quality issues. The first one failed during my 30 day express RMA period. Unit dit not charge and NCIX decided to send me a knock off replacement cable instead of replacing the device. By the time we received the new cable, the 30 day period was passed and NCIX washed their hands of the issue and sent me off to ASUS. The second one failed just outside the 30 day period. ASUS did provide good support though. I really regret wasting money on Express RMA, it really is useless...

Cons: None

Pros: Very fast!Compact size.
I bought an ASUS Transformer Prime and really enjoy it, but soon realized that 10" was too big and hard to carry around every day. The Nexus 7 is great, and at 7" it is very easy to transport and keep around with me every day. Very happy with the purchase

Cons: NO FLASHPLAYER ! Less congruent than earlier versions of Android.

Pros: Super fast processor. Not overloaded with OEM apps. Light and compact.
I live in Montreal, I ordered the Nexus 7 tablet on a Thursday, I received it on the next Wednesday. Pretty quick delivery by NCIX as usual. Android 4.1 JellyBean is a bit different than earlier versions. IT DOES NOT HAVE FLASH ! What ?! You also can not delete  Gmail accounts if/when you want. One of the great aspects is that downloading apps from the Google Play Store has never been faster, and there are over 60,000 of them. Many of them are free. Overall, I am reserved pleased with this tablet.

Cons: -Battery life could be better but it is Android so don't expect much

Pros: -Great price-Solid Performance-Perfect size for all round functionality
This is my first tablet ever and I love it. I use it instead of my phone now for music and all media. It's also great for browsing the web on the go although it may be just the wifi version but you can just get the more expensive version if you need data too. The size of the device and screen is great and isn't as heavy as a 10 inch tablet so it's even more convenient for me. The screen is very clear with its IPS display. The Tegra 3 inside does a good job and helps to keep the price of the device down although it might not be as fast as a Snapdragon or an Exynos. A great all around performer at a great price point

Review Date: 02/13/13
Cons: -not a whole lot

Pros: -fast-updates released quicker for Nexus devices
There are areas that could be improved, but for the price this is a solid build. There are a few Nexus 7 issues floating around, but this one (purchased for a family member) has not experienced any so far.The display is very nice, the internal speaker is reasonably good, and it's just a nice quick device. Everything works reasonably well, although I do find the digitizer a bit temperamental. The main user has large fingers, and he has problems navigating without a stylus. That being said, he also does not quite seem to grasp the difference between a capacitive and resistive touch-screen and many of his perceived difficulties are due to that.

Cons: battery hours.

Pros: performance, storage and price.
overall I like this tablet, very fast, easy interface navigation, android with google, looking forward to future updates and apps. The only issue I'm having is the battery life with this tablet, with wi-fi on, and web browsing average batteries hour is around 8 hour max, with brightness turn to lowest and sound off, plus no background apps running. would recommend it to anyone who are looking for a tablet experience for their first time.

Review Date: 02/03/13
Cons: no sd card ,the protective screen that I bought as an accessory, a hassle to install, air bubbles...can't get rid of them all...

Pros: nice size, light, good battery life, many apps, easy to set up,wifi set up simple, fast processor and very sharp screen.
I bought this 30 of dec from NCIX, it took forever to get here and I paid for shipping instead of free shipping hoping to get it sooner??. other than that , I am very satisfied with this tablet. I downloaded a few golf games and some books and find the tablet easy to handle, and fun to play with. This was my first purchase of a tablet and I highly recommend this product . Speed, ease of access and overall performance can't be beat. No sd card for added memory and the recommended screen protector are the only negatives I have for this product. Thanks

Cons: Missing plastic screen protector on Nexus 7. And bubble wrap was popped. Indicates packaging previously opened. Also manufacturer defective screen lift on left side of product.

Pros: Ordered Thursday. Shipped Friday. Arrived Monday afternoon. Free Shipping.
Company is selling previously opened products??? Someone returned this Nexus because of the screen lift...and company resold it?

Cons: Its a small tablet with a small voice so sound isnt great. The speakers are tiny and dont carry much.

Pros: The battery is good. About 3-4 hours video streaming, heavy web surfing and downloading, a good 6 with web off, playing games and reading. (Turning off the auto brightness helps save battery. Indoors I keep it adjusted to extremely low and only manually crank it for outside.)In sleep mode, I don't know how long the battery last as it barely moves after hours of sitting. I haven't had it sleeping long enough to compute it. It moves a little sitting over night but not enough to matter.
Fist off this is not an Amazon purchase. Sorry Amazon, but it was cheaper at my local department store. Second, I will not compare this android tab to a ipad!!! Thats just stupid, IMO. Oranges and apples. One thing is all apple stuff cost more for comparable products. I dont buy over priced apple products.Ok as for the Android tabs, this one is a winner. The new processor is lightening fast!!! I multitasked, played Netflix, and loaded the thing and its speed held great. Its touch is very responsive. Its res is great too. For the buck, 249, at most department stores and electronic stores, it beats the competitors. The only way to get better is to pay more.

Cons: no sd slot

Pros: light, good screen, nice feel, affordable.
best deal on the market for a tablet when i got it. much cheaper than ipad. rubber back feels nice in the hands. not too big, really portable for a tablet. android, customizable. too bad they didn't add a sd slot.

Review Date: 01/23/13
Cons: -could use more power but its good

Pros: -size is perfect-pretty fast-good battery-cheap
Nothing really to complain about this tablet. its cheap and is very functional

Review Date: 01/19/13
Cons: Nothin

Pros: Love the size and the screen. With Mx player it plays anything you throw at it! mkv. with subs = no problem!Battery life is awesome as well.
Size, battery life and screen and you can mod the ui unlike ipads which gets boring over time!

Review Date: 01/17/13
Cons: No SD or microSD slotSetup seemed to require wi-fi and Google account

Pros: Amazing display with excellent off-axis viewingVery fast/powerful processorGreat value for quality/capacity vs. iPad or SamsungNicest touch display I have used to date
I have owned and played with many touch devices and this is the best "touch" experience I have had to date. Couple that with a very snappy processor and a sweet IPS display and you have the best 7" for the money. I am docking a full star for no storage expansion, really, would it have killed to add a microSD slot?

Cons: Nothing!

Pros: Just love it!
Just love it. Price-matching with Google, free shipping! Cheaper that way!

Review Date: 01/04/13
Cons: None

Pros: Fast, size, quality
This is a great tablet, I could not have asked for better. It's fast, looks great and image quality is amongst the best I have seen for that size. Way better than the iPad mini. Best quality at a decent price.

Review Date: 01/03/13
Cons: - nothing really....

Pros: - small- nice looking- easy to use
this is a really nice looking thing. it is also really easy to use, even for someone that doesn't know that much about technology. i really recommend this thing !

Cons: - The power button is placed just above the volume buttons, so you can press the power button by mistake when trying to adjust the volume.- No rear-facing camera.- Quite hard to use at first if you're not familiar with Android.

Pros: - Bright, vibrant screen.- High-resolution video playback and games. Text is a breeze to read.- Very customizable thanks to the Android 4.2 OS.- Easy drag-and-drop  file transfer on Windows computers.- Android Beam makes sharing easy.- Gesture typing works great, even when typing in French!- Incredible Price/quality ratio.- Tegra 3 processor makes HD 3D gaming smooth and fun.- 9-hour battery life.
In brief, I must say it is a very good tablet. I got it just before Christmas (on the 21), and have been using it since then. I simply love the 7 inch format (not too big, not too small), and it fits in your hand if you like holding it that way (I prefer landscape mode though). Android 4.2 is incredibly smooth and fast, very customizable (widgets, rooting, etc.), and easy to tweak if you're more of a techy guy! The Gesture Typing keyboard works surprisingly well, and as soon as I've learned how to use it I almost never used the keyboard "normally" again. It has a really good price point at 270$, and I would recommend it over any other 7-inch tablet (especially the iPad mini...). Sadly, it doesn't have a rear-facing camera, but a tablet isn't made for that anyway in my opinion.Would buy another!

Cons: none

Pros: -great tablet for the price-runs smooth receive updates constantly-easy to hold in one hand
This is a great little tablet. I have no complaints whatsoever and use it everyday. Definitely would recommend this product. This review was modfied by poster @ 12-25-12 07:55 PM

Cons: No rear-facing camera

Pros: Light-weightGood price-pointFast
Great value for the price. Lots of online documentation from fans and users if you're more of a power user. Some apps (like Skype) that require a camera don't function because they can't do portrait mode. Decent resolution screen means web pages and personal documents show up very nicely and can be easily viewed. Good game compatibility

Review Date: 12/19/12
Cons: No rear camera

Pros: Extremely fast, cost effective, beautiful
This tablet is amazing and the price is great! Only problem is the lack of rear camera......I didnt realize that until I recieved it.....I dont really want to return it so I guess I'll have to accept it.

Review Date: 12/11/12
Cons: - Given the price, no cons personally.

Pros: - Good for surfing.- Good for watching videos (MX Player)- Great for Netflix.- Low cost.
A great alternative to the iPad mini. Best bang for the buck 7in tablet device out in the market right now and NCIX has great promotion for the 32gb model from time to time.
