Cons: Loud if on medium or high speedJust as noisy as other fans at the same speedNot PWM

Pros: Quiet (If on the lowest speed setting)Moves a lot of air
Comment:
It works well, and is very quiet, as long as you keep the speed down at it's lowest setting. AT medium, or high, it is fairly loud. I guess the volume of air it pushes might be more than other fans, but it is about the same noise level as my previous fans, and those did not as much.It also is not PWM (My bad for not reading that) so you better be happy with the speed adapters or have a fan controller if you want to really adjust the speed so it isn't noisy. If you get it on sale it is a good deal, otherwise grab another brand that has PWM and for less money.

Cons: Colour, more expensive than most fans

Pros: Quiet, mounts to 120mm or 140mm, includes adapters for multiple speeds
Comment:
This is a great 140mm fan. It is meant more for silent operation that for mass air flow and does it's job well. With the included adapters you can choose between 3 different RPMs.

Cons: I think one of the two I purchased may have something wrong with it since it is slightly louder than the rest of my fans. I don't feel it's worth RMA'ing though since it's not that bad.

Pros: Typically very quiet, especially when you feel how much air it is moving compared to many other silent fans.
Comment:
Overall it's certainly a good fan, I'm not entirely sure if it's worth the premium price since there is quite a lot of competition in silent fans and I have had a few good ones.

Pros: quiet great air flowgreat design allowing 140mm fan to be able to be mounted used on 120mm fan mountsGreat cabling option

I have 2 of these funning in my fractal r3 case as an intake and a exhaust and they do a really great job of moving air.If you are thinking about using this fan to cool your water cooling rad, make sure it fits in your case.. plus i dont' think these are for your rads anyway.I own this model and the p12 and the f12 model of noctua fans as well and they are just top notch in terms of quality and performance. Some may say these things are way too expensive but I honestly think it's worth the money especially if you can't stand the fan noise.

Cons: - none that I could find

Pros: - quiet- moves enough air for my needs- adapters to slow down fan
Comment:
All in all this is a great fan it moves enough air and doesn't make a whole lot of noise doing it. With the adapters it comes with lna and ulna you can slow the fan down to make it even quieter which is great. The only thing I could say is a con about this fan is the color but since I don't have a windowed case it doesn't bother me, but keep that in mind if you do.

Cons: Don't fit in the front of my case, cause they are round.

Pros: Silent, easy to install with the pin.
Comment:
If you want silent and performance, you need those fans. I don't know who need LNA or ULNA because they are silent already. It comes with a great mount kit which is a plus value.

Cons: - Louder then I thought- Only one color and its not black

Pros: - A 140mm fan that fits in a 120mm spot- Pushes out a lot of air
Comment:
It was louder then I expected much louder then my NF-P12-1300 and NF-S12B FLX it was the loudest thing in my case so I had to put on the low noise adapter to slow it down a bit now its whisper quiet.Still pushes out a lot of air, Using it as a bottom intake fan to blow air up into my case and its keeping things nice and cool.A good buy but I had to use an adapter unlike the 120mm noctua fans I also have.

Cons: might be a little louder than advertised at full speed

Pros: Fairly quiet, moves a good amount of air, flexible install options
Comment:
These were purchased to replace stock Lian Li fans and I have to say they are impressive. They look interesting, but not everyone will like the color. I did think they would have been a little quieter but even at full speed they are fairly quiet. Dropped system temps and noise level. Win Win.

Cons: Pretty expensive for a fan

Pros: Quiet and moves a lot of air; can fit into 120 mm holes
Comment:
Great 140mm fan! Quiet and powerful. I'm using the ultra low-noise adapter that came with it to reduce its speed and therefore the noise. Way better quieter than the stock fan that came with my case

Finally find a fan that can replace the 135mm fan from my PSU. I have it done by attached the 120mm->140mm extension up-side-down to the fan, rotate all of them for ~150 degree.

Cons: -Ugly colour-seems to be louder at ~1200 RPM compared to my S-Flex at ~1150 RPM but this moves more air

Pros: +Good Airflow +Noctua Warranty+Even mounts on 12cm holes
Comment:
I wish these were available in black.I'm currently using on my H60 and the performance hit is very minor (~4 deg. celc.) compared to the jet sounding Corsair fan (~1700RPM).Max temp is ~60 on my I7 2600K with this so I would rather use this than the jet corsair fan.

Cons: It's more than twenty dollars for a single unit. You might wonder if it's worth it. Yes, totally.

Pros: This is really big. It moves air a lot better than 120mm equivalents.
Comment:
Okay so you have had 120mm fans when everybody had 80mm. Now you need 140mm fans to be cool (by all means of cool). Keep the airflow optimal by getting a fan that doesn't make much noise and moves air.

I love these Noctua fans I have them in all my builds. They are a little pricier but they are quiet and reliable fans. In all the years I have been using these fans I have never had one that squealed or died. Will continue to buy.

Got a couple of these as case fans for my 800D. They move enough air while being very quiet. Also have one on my noctua heatsink works well there too.

Cons: kind of wish it came in more colours to match, expensive

Pros: great fan, quick and quiet. colour scheme is nice and subtle yet easy to spot as a noctua
Comment:
shape and size are kind of awkward if you are attempting to mount in any place other than a 140mm mount, as the circle actually sticks past the screws, creating a rounded guard, rather than the squares we are all used to. Other than that, the quality is great, you most definately get what you pay for. Although it might be too expensive for some, it definately is worth the extra bang for your buck if you dont mind the colourscheme

Cons: Noctua's color scheme sucks.

Pros: Quiet, moves a lot of air.
Comment:
If you can get over the somewhat unatractive color scheme Noctua fans are really something to look into. They move a lot of air, they do so quietly and effiently. This 140mm fan mounts into the 120mm holes as well which is quite a nice feature !

Pros: Very quiet and versatile.

Been using this for a few days now as a CPU heat sink fan on my Scythe Ninja Copper. Cannot hear it at all even at full speed. Keeps my non-overclocked AMD PhenomII X4 955BE at around 30C on idle and 40-45C at full load.

bought one of these fans for my case and was impressed by the quietness when in full speed. The only thing i don't like about this fan is the weird color noctua chose for their fans. But a fan filter should hide the color.

Cons: A bit pricey, strange method of attaching to 140mm. Colour scheme doesn't really match anyone's case.

Pros: Very quiet, good airflow, high quality, rubber "screws", 120mm and 140mm compatible.
Comment:
Good performance, very silent. Didn't really fit well with my case (front 140mm fan in NZXT phantom) because the screws were too wide so I couldn't the vibration reduction rubber "screws". I had to use the screws from my case, metal-on-metal. The rubberized clips seem to be designed to go under the mounting hole instead of on top, which wasn't possible in my case and likely not in most cases. Using the hardware that comes with the case will probably be fine if the Noctua stuff doesn't fit.

Cons: The price of these fans are a little higher than other fans but you pay for quality

Pros: Quality and the amount of air these fans push and the fact they fit perfect in 120mm slots.
Comment:
I have been using Noctua cooling solutions for about 4 years and have used many of there productsie, coolers and fans. This is an amazing fan I switched off my N12 fans in my Zalman home theatre case and they fit like a glove and boy do they move air. I did not have any heat issues before but because I like to overclock my 875k to its optimum during video encoding and such. When I ordered these fans I was skeptical as if they would fit even before instalation they did not look like they would fit but they fit perfect and with the increase path of airflow and dead silent running at 800rpm. I would recommend this fan without hesitation.
