Cons: Those rubber installation standoffs are nearly impossible to install in tight spaces.

Pros: Whisper quiet at slowest speed (has an adapter)
Comment:
I boxed myself into a corner by installing the fans near the end (so I wouldn't bash them doing something else). I paid, I paid. I had no room in the end to pull-through the rubber installation grommet/standoff thingies. Murder on the fingers, couldn't get needle-nose pliers in the space, etc.BUT, in the end, on the slowest speed/voltage setting, they are nearly silent. I used a pair of 80mm blowing out, a pair of 92mm blowing in and a giant Noctua C14 cpu fan. Super cool on my i5 2500K / Asus P8P67 motherboard, and super quiet, nearly silent. As with all my noctua fans, these do not dissapoint. At lowest speed they are impossible to hear with the slightest bit of ambient noise. Even at highest speeds, they are very quiet.

Cons: Absolutely nothing! Cost isn't a factor considering how poorly others do.

Pros: You get what you pay for - it's worth every cent.VERY quiet and moves lots of air.
Comment:
This fan really sucks! .. uh ...air that is.I have an old desktop that I've been using for years. The guts have been upgraded and lately I've noticed it was getting pretty hot inside. Even the PS was quite warm on the case cover above it. I had a fan in the front and one in the back which you could barely feel air flow. i used to buy (stock up0 on fans when they went on sale but ALL of these little 80mm fans didn't blow air.I modified the back (again)by cutting out another 3" circle (or so) in the back to install the third fan and replaced the old ones. With two Noctuas in the back and one in the front, the top is actually COLD - you could chill a drink on it. And you can "just" feel a little bit of warmth from the PS now.And there was NO difference in sound levels even with a third fan. I can't believe they made this much difference! Don't buy cheap stuff! you get what you pay for!I will be looking at Noctuas from now on.

Cons: Ugly color scheme

Pros: Can run VERY quietGood performance on high mode
Comment:
I got two of these for an older case that had 2 for intakes. I built a WHS box so didn't need a lot of airflow due to lower temps. I did require the fans to be very quiet since the server box is on all the time and in an area that is exposed. On the low voltage mode they are virtually silent, just a very very faint noise is audible. I highly recommend them for a silent build such as the one I did.

This is one of my favourite fans of all time, and I have tried a lot. I am fanatical about making my pc as quiet as possible and these noctua fans are some of the best available for that purpose.

Cons: None to speak of...

Pros: quiet, good flow, great quality.
Comment:
I got this as a rear exhaust fan on an older case. It worked great. It was quieter than the cheapie unicom one it was next to and moved noticeably more air. Either you like the look of them or you don't. I think the colors are classy, if a little bit 70s. The cable was also nicely heat-shrunk. The fan gave the impression of quality.

Noctua makes top notch fans. I suppose they could do a little more to make them visually appealing, but such a detail is superfluous. Excellent product.

Bought 2 of these to put in my obsidian 800D to improve airflow, works very well and just the right size (they fit nicely without needing to be screwed down near the top vents ontop of the back exhaust)

I love these fans. Picked up a whole bunch of them in various sizes. Replaced my Panamax UPS fan, 5 case fans, 2 fans in my Netgear RPP, PC Power & Cooling UPS fans. Now everything is almost dead silent in my bedroom. Too bad Noctua doesn't make a 60mm fan so I had to resort to Silenx iXtrema Pro for the 60mm and it's also very quiet.

Pros: Very quiet, quality built
Comment:
I've been using Noctua for all my chassis fans for a couple of years now. They are great for ventilation of watercooled systems, but don't expect these ultra quiet fans to act as primary cooler fans. They just aren't fast enough for that.

Just WOW!! what quality products! I own multiple 120mm versions of these fans and they are outstanding. Bought 2 of these 80mm versions to cool my custom heatsinks on the northbridge and southbridge. They are silent, fast and move a ton of air. So far, noticing a 4-5C drop  in temps just by adding these to my setup. I am running them q ~1400rpm and they are basically silent.

Pros: output and noise levels
Comment:
To be honest this is hands down the best 80mm case fan I have come accros yet. 3 power options and different mounting options. You can tell the quality of these fans right from the packaging. But most important to me is the amount of air these noctura fans move. I hold my hand behind my htpc and you can feel the difference. great price at $11.50 and I plan on getting more of these case fans.

Cons: Bit pricier (price dropped though)

Pros: Runs quiet
Comment:
I bought these at $17, which is a little pricier than I would have liked, but it runs very quiet. I bought it for my HTPC, but unfortunately there are other fans in the box that are louder, and this fan might just be overkill.

when you turn the q-fan on in the BIOS the fan run's fine but rpm reading always incorrect sometime it shows up to 50000rpm and suddenly drop  to 0 but good thing they come with different speed cable so u can control speed by change cable

Used these and the 120mm version to make a Dead silent MediaPC, this thing sits on my night table beside my bed.Unfortunataly I still have to turn the system off at night,I can hear my 15DB seagate Clicking, and heaven forbid the DVD Drive Spins Up, freakes me out, as for fan noise?I find myself opening my case and touching the fans to make sure they are actualy running.NOT FOR POWER & PREFORMANCE SYSTEMS

Cons: Not as much air flow as expected

Pros: Whisper quietComplete package
Comment:
I love these fans, they are so quiet that I can only hear my video card and hard drives. I expected a little more air flow than this thought, but adequate the same for gaming, overclocking would recommend other fans more in the 30cfm or more range.

Comment:
I needed some replacements for my old stock 80mm and picked up a pair of these. These work just as advertised. Very silent and they push a good amount of air despite being 80mm's. They also look a bit funky with the odd colour choice. You do pay for the silence though. These are among some of the most expensive 80mm's you'll find anywhere.

Cons: Somewhat expensive.

Pros: Quiet, moves a decent amount of air, great build quality.
Comment:
Used this fan for a sff case and for it's small size it moves quite a bit of air, while at the same time is nearly silent. Nice to have a standard 3 pin, sleeved cable but for the price it's not surprising. Immune to the color-scheme now, but if you need a dead silent fan that still moves a good amount of air this is a good choice.

I use this fan in my htpc. While it's still somewhat audible, its tolerable. When i have something playing on the screen, it's barely audible.Only con is that its very expensive for a fan.The low noise adapters are also just resistors.
