Pros: - Good for older builds with a 4 pin PSU and a 8 pin motherboard. Comment:
This cord helped me out of a bind in two ways. I had a build that had a 4 pin PSU connector and an 8 pin motherboard connector. As well I was using a case that had a bottom mounted PSU, and it couldn't reach the motherboard. Not only did it act as an adapater, but also as an extension as well. Very happy with this adapter. |

Used along with an Asus P8H67-M Pro. This adpater ended being useless as this motherboard does handle a single 4-pin connector. Better be safe than sorry, but if you got an Asus H67 board, be aware you won't need it. |

Bought for an older PSU with a 4-pin connection. Plugged it into my 8-pin X58 board and it works fine. It also worked fine with 4-pins so I cannot say for certain if it made a difference? |

It works and provided extended use for those with older power supplies with only a P4 ATX power connector. NCIX also has another cable that is sleeved for those who want it. |

This sure helps out with slightly older psu's that need to get up to date for the 8 pin setups.Using it on a new gigabyte AM3 board .Cheap enough and saves me from having to get out the stinky old soldering iron and spare wire setups to make my own.Good quality. |
