Cons: not very heavy and the cords can pull it back

Pros: Works well, lots of plugs and powered so you charge items
Comment:
It's a USB hub, it works and has lots of plugs. Some are facing backwards (out the back of the unit) so they aren't very useful for things like flash drives but work well for things you don't unplug ofter (mouse, keyboard, etc). This review was modfied by poster @ 03-03-10 11:41 AM

Cons: Died already. The power cord is also pretty short.

Pros: Nice and small
Comment:
Sending this one back for RMA (already done, thanks). It suddenly dropped to USB 1.1 speeds and is no longer powering up my son's IPOD. I think I might not use the replacement for charging... in case that's what set it off.

Cons: Many: It doesn't sit in the stand well, power supply does not seem to supply the USB devices attached, USB ports on both sides, bright LED

Pros: It has 7 ports
Comment:
For $20 I'd seriously think about buying another more "brand name" product. This one is cheap. After connecting several USB devices the system it was attached to complained that there was a USB "overload". Now, this happened with the devices plugged into the PC too, but the powered hub was purchased to eliminate this. With a 1A supply it should not happen. However, it seems that the HUB must be passing through this power requirement and not supplying the USB devices. A similar setup with the DLink 7 port hub had no problems.(14816)

Cons: It doesn’t weight a ton. So you'll need a piece of 2 sided tape or so, to keep it in place.

Pros: 7 Ports with a power source, for I, the cable is perfect in length .
Comment:
Great little hub ! Received-it as a present and works perfectly does exactly what it’s supposed to do. ‘Plug and Play’ and every USB connection is well spoken for and can't complain about the USB speed !

Cons: powercord is way too short

Pros: cheap for a 7 port hub, power
Comment:
I'll agree with the first reviewer. The power cord is only about a foot long and the LED is way too bright (think blue flashlight). The 2 hubs I bought work flawlessly but I will not buy again.I have one hooked up to a reg. size tower case, but the powerbar is on the floor and the hub barely reaches the top of the case with the power cord attached.

Cons: high pitch blue led.

Pros: Good price. Reliable.
Comment:
This HUB seems to be working flawlessly.I can't complain other that the blue led on it which is pretty hard on the eye when looking directly at it.

Cons: Nothing!

Pros: 7 ports, adequately spaced out (most of the time) so ports don't have to go unused just cause a device won't fit. Everything has worked fine so far.
Comment:
Bought this at $20 on sale. Everything has worked properly so far, no ports have failed. Cheap way to add a bunch more USB ports to the computer!

Cons: PORTS HAVE FAILED!!! 1Star would be my selection but can not find my OrderID on the receipt. purchased as a walk in

Pros: Small, cables run out the back not the sides. Hides on the desk well
Comment:
Well five days into owning this hub and four of the front five ports have failed, don't work, "pining for the fjords". Well five days into owning this hub and four of the five front ports have failed, don't work, "pining for the fjords". I will be returning it this week. Do I get the same and hope this was just a lemon, or go for D-Link? perhaps D-Link.

Cons: Poor quality.

Pros: Works.Cheap.7 USB ports.Comes with an A/C adapter.Optional use of the A/C adapter.
Comment:
This 7 port hub was very cheap. I got it for about $12~ after tax. That being said, the quality on this thing is very poor, but you usually expect it from most nGear products. It works and it comes with an optional A/C adapter. The USB ports don't really align/match up with the holes in the outer case, which I kind of had to force the USB heads into the hub, but it required very little force. Personally, I probably wouldn't buy or recommend this again, unless I need a very cheap USB hub.

Cons: can't complain

Pros: Price,7 ports,powered with a/c adapter,small, works well
Comment:
Very nice USB hub, works well, would definitely recommend it.5 ports on one side, external power+USB in + 2 ports on the other side. The supplied little stand is a good idea, I am just wondering how long this will stay together on my wife's desk.

Cons: None that I can think of

Pros: Nice fancy design
Comment:
This is a nice way to expand the number of USB ports on your computer. The design is sleak and for $20, it's a great way to add 7 ports to your computer. Definitely worth the buy

Cons: ngear is not known for quality

Pros: looks, price, size
Comment:
This unit has worked pretty well so far. I don't always trust ngear products but this one has been great. I don't know who to test it for possible bandwidth limitations but with my G5 mouse I haven't noticed any problems yet.

Cons: Includes 2 4 port hubs stacked together to make 7

Pros: Light, Fast, Powered
Comment:
Great little hub, works beautifully as any USB hub should... my only complaint about it, and I'm sure most others are the same, at least from what I've seen, is that it uses 2 4-port hubs to make 7 ports by stacking them. Therefore, if you're really concerned about speed, you have to find the three "faster" ports... but as I say, this seems to be how they all do 7 ports.

Cons: The USB cord that comes with it is SUPER SUPER SHORT, it's less then 2 feet. Fortunate for me i have a long spare so it's not a big problem for me. Also it has a very bright red LED in the back that can get annoying.

Pros: Works Fine so far, Works great with my external HD and has fast xfer speeds.
Comment:
Other then the short cable and the bright LED it works fine. I haven't had any problems with it. It's great for sitting on your desk, no need to get under your desk for plugging in USB devices (you just need a longer usb cable to reach your desk, lol).

Cons: not stable enough

Pros: Cheap product
Comment:
I purchased this product when it is on sale, really good price to extend the USB on laptops, but only in couples of days, one of 7 ports does not function any more, it does not recognize any device plugged in, after the investigation, it is due to the loose interface. Not recommended for the user asking for high stability.
