Cons: special order. Using eyefinity for landscape. not recommended for portrait because the top and bottom borders are silver. may look awkward. no display port cable

Got this to set up display port eyefinity. Had it special ordered. Took about 4 days (pickup) got eyefinity working no problem. Looks great. I figured instead of getting a 150 monitor and an adapter this was the better choice. BUT I think you can get a 24 inch display port from dell for about the same price. Side note, I did lose about 10-15 FPS with radeon 5770 running eyefinity. I am running Dragon age at around 30 on max settings. 5040x1050. Oh also, not all games supported on eyefinity. note: there is no DP cable provided. |
I use this monitor for office work, and it has poor contrast and sharpness. Perhaps I've been spoiled to my 13" MacBook screen, either case it is not a quality monitor
