This fan is great. Was running some generic 120mm fan in my case and replaced it with this. It's darn quiet.. And the temps dropped as well. As a comparison I replaced my noctua nf-p12 on my core contact freezer heatsink with this before I replaced the above mentioned fan. I'll give this thing credit. I only lost 1 degree so it's a cheaper alternative to the nf-p12...Well, if you price match it. Overall great fan, 5 year warranty, and complete silence.. Two thumbs up. I know everyone says the same praise of these fans - Silent! but it cannot be stressed enough with noctua's new fans.I have quite sensitive ears to noise and i must say these pass my tests and then some.If there is a hum you can only hear it from a few inches away and its (most importantly in a silent fan) a pleasant hum.Combine 4 or 5 of these in a case and you will have better airflow (and much reduced noise) than 2-3 higher rpm fans.I have 3 of these in a well insulated p182 running with a fanless psu, 8500gt and intel e8400 a pretty potentially hot system and it all runs within spec at 500rpm and carefully designed airflow.

I have this fan in an Antec Sonata II cooling the HD enclosure (stocked with four HDs) and it's doing a good job of keeping the case temps down and ventilation up.
