I got this about a year ago now for my Toshiba laptop that runs so hot it will not boot anymore. I had to reverse the fan by unscrewing it and flipping it due to the way my Toshiba vents but it was very easy to do and only took about 5 minutes.This cooler runs absolutely silent on high and manages to cool down my laptop enough that it can again be used. I can not recommend this cooler enough, it is superior to every other cooler I have used.

A couple of months ago, I bought a gaming-grade laptop, which had the bad habbit of becoming extremely hot. I bought a cheap notebook cooler, equipped with two 70mm fans, and the noise it made was unbearable, and one of the two fans died one month after purchase. I decided to go with a brand-name and bought this Antec 200 cooler.I have been very pleased. It's very quiet (the big brother 200mm fan is hardly noticeable, even when at high.. I had to put my hand over it to make sure it was working), it's sturdy, and it looks very nice. The blue LED can also be turned off if it bothers you (like when using it to watch movies on my TV). The overall temperature of my laptop went down by 10 degrees celsius since I started using this. It is clearly in a category of its own.The downside is that it is somewhat heavy and bulky, so it would be difficult to carry around. This isn't a problem for me, since most of the time it's stationary in my living room, but those who travel a lot with their laptops and want something to keep their laps cool instead of the computer itself might want to look into alternatives.
