Cons: I don't see anything bad about that.

Pros: Design, size, matte screen, price, windows 7

I got this for my mother instead of a cheap HP or Acer that are the usual netbooks sold in local stores in Quebec. The bundle deal with the USB DVD burner was really something to get if you were looking for a netbook a while ago when it was in the special weekly sale. The design is very nice and it got a matte screen, something much more interesting than a glossy one. It got bluetooth, windows 7 starter and all the requirements for a good netbook. I didn't experimented the battery life but I'm pretty sure it gives you a big 10 to 12 hours if you know how to use it properly. It has a 250gb HDD which is good for a netbook too.Consider this one as a great option if you can't afford an Asus EEE or if those are not in sale when you want to buy a netbook.

Cons: HORRIBLE bilingual keyboardThe rest of the usual 10 inch netbook cons (low res, 1gb, slow cpu, etc etc)

Pros: Cheap and free external DVD burnerlong battery lifegood looks and scratch resistant plastic (and color)very light, even for a 10" netbook

Goin overseas soon, didn't wanna bring my thinkpad. This is a perfect tool for the job. lots of battery life and only $280 WITH a free USB dvd-rw drive. Not sure if BenSchaefer (reviewer below) is a little loopy or what, but this thing is SOOOOOOO light. 2.8lbs with battery!! Sure, it looks slightly larger than an 10" eee, but it defiantly isn't heavier. Initial comparison with my sisters 1000HE shows its a little wider, but the weight difference is defiantly worth it. Quality is on par with the asus as well.battery life seems to be close to whats advertised. Haven't had time to really test it out yet, but i got a good 8 hrs while installing win 7 ultimate, installing drivers and software, and windows update  while watching video`s. Performance is what is to be expected. I'm very used to SSD's now, so mechanical drives seem unbearably slow. 2GB module, a small SSD, and a standard US keyboard swap, and you have a great peppy mobile machine without breaking the bank.

Cons: Resolution could have been better. It is a netbook.1GB RAM.No WWAN modem.

Pros: Small and sexy.Battery life is awesome.

An excellent piece of machinery. Very well built. Light and has excellent battery life of about 10 hours. You cannot go wrong with this when you get in on sale for $279. Keyboard is very comfortable.Do not really notice any difference between 1Gb and Gb of RAM but having more of course would be better from a psychological point of view. Have not tried downgrading to XP yet but I think this should be possible with some perserverence. All-around well-built netbook. Highly recommended in its class of PCs.Having a built-in modem would be beneficial!

Cons: wish they would make these with 2 gig memory option but that's a comment on all of them

Pros: good looks, build quality, not bad bloatware, great price
Comment:
i've worked with these as made by acer and msi and have been very happy with the msi ones especially. i had heard the samsung were the best build quality of the bunch so i jumped on these at the sales price and bought 3 for xmas!

Cons: For that price, I would have liked 2gb of RAM, but what can you do. It's heavier than most netbooks

Pros: Killer looks, full keyboard, bright screen, amazing battery life! Decent processor.
Comment:
Great little laptop for school. Doesn't take too much space and at 299$ with DVD burner, price can't be beat! Speaker quality leaves to be desired, but with headphones, noone really cares. Performance could be better and Windows 7 starter is useless. Upgrade to Home Premium if you can. I'd also upgrade RAM to 2GB, just buy a standard DDR2 SODIMM 800mhz and you're set.

Cons: Not the smallest or lightest netbook, ships with 1GB of RAM for Windows (even Starter) this is too little

Pros: Solid build, great battery life, bright-clear screen

Purchased one of these for my wife after she lost her job and didn't have the corporate laptop to bring home anymore. We then went for a 3 week trip through Europe and brought this Netbook along. Ended up only needing to charge it about 3 or 4 times on the trip and we used it about 2+ hours a day; uploading photos from our cameras, posting to facebook, flickr, etc...And I ended up using it more than a few times to log into the vCenter environment I manage at work. In the mean time we picked up a replacement 2GB SoDIMM and an SSD drive, of course not really the same product now, but still have enough confidence in it to buy 3 for work for our Marketing department to drag around the globe. Heck, if if they lose all 3 of them it's still less then a single "portable" laptop!

Cons: older CPU technology. keyboard isn't as responsive as other keyboards. The case will get scratched up. The case is nothing to write home about although better than nothing.

Pros: female friendly. Very well built. Tiny AC Adapter. Love the instant startup alternative OS. the 6cell battery is flat unlike others that stick out
Comment:
I bought this as a gift for someone going to school to be used during class. Be warned that a lot of schools disallow the use of portable devices (phones / netbooks / laptops) during lectures because of the ongoing abuse of doing non school work during lecture times. Check that your program allows for it before assuming you can use it. As a portable device it's nice. Perfect for the travelling and dumping pictures into it's harddrive. When checking other 6 cell battery models check for how big it actually is. This one manages to still fit in the supplied case (strongly suggest you get another case)
