Cons: touchpad not so great

Pros: Best bang for the buck laptop around here
Comment:
I buy this laptop to replace my olding toshiba u300. I mostly use it on the field for my company. I was not sure about the keyboard when i got it , i work 99% of the time in console. But after a day i learn to appreciate it. The battery is lasting for more then 6 hours. for the price they are no better alternative.

Cons: Poor speaker quality. 5400 rpm hard disk ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME? No USB3.0 ports. Scroll area on the touch pad is a few mills away from the edge WTF? Just minor annoyances. Nothing major.

Pros: Good driver support. Decent graphics. Fast CPU. Relatively light weight. Matte screen. Good price.

As a constant commuter to school, I bought this laptop as a replacement of an 15.3'' burden that I carried. So far, this laptop has been great. If you're looking for a bang for your hard-earned bucks and a strong utility laptop that's not so heavy to carry around with, this is the one. It has a relatively fast processor and a decent graphics card that would run all the modern video games. If you're not a hard-core gamer who gets bloodthirsty when it comes to bleeding-edge graphics and is willing to pay a few kilos for that few extra pixels, this laptop will do. What you can't see from the picture above is that the exterior of this laptop is black, glossy finish while the interior is greyish matte. Oh, and I bought this one because there's no 14 inchers with specs close to this one at the given price. It's kind of Samsung's speciality to make cheap and high-quality stuff, imo.

Cons: -Casing is completely plastic, likely not the most durable-French keyboard layout is awkward, but can be worked around (see below)

Pros: -Relatively Inexpensive (Purchased on sale for $650)-Powerful enough for the latest (as of mid-2012) games-Small size, portable-Matte screen (most seem to be glossy these days)
Comment:
This laptop is great. It is powerful enough to run any program I throw at it, and every intensive game I've tried so far has run on medium to high settings. For those that want a good balance of portability and power, this is a great laptop. The matte screen is a very welcome addition, as glossy screens have become standard. If you prefer glossy screens, there are some very similar computers around this price range with them, however I find the reflections from glossy screens to be distracting and hard on the eyes. The casing is somewhat flexible and likely to absorb some shock, but it feels somewhat cheap to the touch. The keyboard also has (although not pictured) a bilingual layout, cutting the left shift key in half and replacing the inner half with an extra | key. The enter key is also strangely shaped, with the other | key where one would usually press enter. This can be remedied by using a program called Sharpkeys (Google it), using which you can remap the left | to Shift and the other to Enter.Overall, this is a great laptop and a fine purchase for those who want a portable yet powerful computer, for a very good price.

Cons: I havn't found any yet.

Pros: It's very fast, quite, looks beautiful. I couldn't ask for more.
Comment:
I bought this to replace my gaming desktop of a few years ago. It's incredibly fast and the best laptop I've used. After an old Aspire I had for school, I never pictured myself really liking them. This has proved me wrong and I would recommend this to anyone looking for a decent but not overly expensive machine for casual gaming and steady use.

Cons: The build quality doesn't match the looks. It looks solid but there is a fair amount of flex around the edges - nothing serious, but don't be surprised by it. Plus, I always seem to tap the CD tray open - I don't know if that is design flaw or just bad luck on my part. I've had some issues with connecting to Wi-Fi networks and network printers but that may be router-related, not computer-related.

Pros: Efficient, excellent computing power per dollar ratio, good looking, works well, good size, good weight, MATTE SCREEN, not too loaded with bloatware, quick performance - doesn't feel too sluggish
Comment:
Picked this computer up for a great price of ~$800 with tax thrown in and I have been very pleased with it. These days it is getting so hard to find a decently priced laptop with a competent dedicated graphics card in it - none of this Intel HD 3000 or GMA crap for me thank you! The computer runs smoothly, wasn't too loaded down with crapware (Cyberlink suite and Norton trial), and SWEET MOTHA' it has a matte screen so you can actually use it on a sunny day without being blinded. The laptop powers through all easy tasks (internet browsing, word processing, music, etc) without a fuss - nice to have the 6 GB of RAM and it is able to undergo heavy duty tasks without getting super hot. I'm able to play Battlefield 3 on the GT540M on Medium and Borderlands on as High as it goes. The weight is very reasonable and the keyboard is a great design. All in all, a great laptop for those who are looking for more than the standard laptop with piddly graphics but not looking to spend over a grand on a gaming beast. This performs admirably and the only flaws that present themselves are the sorts of things that only become an issue if you make them one.
