I got this as a replacement for a macbook pro. It had better hardware compared to the lowest end macbook pro and was about $400 less. Admittedly the screen on the macbook was significantly better (better blacks)but I believe that rings true with most laptops. However having widscreen is nice. On the components side I couldn't find much that could rival this laptop for the price and it runs all my games great. I read read mixed reviews on the speaker in it but my impression is great. There is a large amount of settings for the speakers. Currently mines on 3d audio and im streaming music through Bluetooth from my phone and it sounds great. |

Coming from a macbook pro, I was a bit reluctant in buying a windows laptop. I bought this one because the exterior design is clean, the keyboard feels nice, and its at an affordable price point. |

I have a buddy that owns this laptop and foremost, it was one of the best laptop around in the market. It was worth the money based on its performance and spec. I really admired this laptop but too bad money was tight for my budget |

Cons: Built in speakers leave ALOT to be desired. I've never owned a laptop with worse built-in sound.would be nice if it came with something to transport it in. Does not.

I bought it for $899 at the end of June 2012. For a cheap option that can play current games at medium-low settings and older games at medium-high settings there isn't a better laptop for the price. Just be sure to use a pair of earbuds/headphones cause the speakers are useless. |
this is a very fast laptop with the i5 cpu and win7 already preinstalled, i could play lol on high and it runs very fast, at this price it's a very good deal
