Cons: - Screen viewing angle isn't as high as glossy screens- Not Full-HD, only 1600x900- Canadian Multilingual keyboard (not a big deal for me, but the US would have been nice to have)
Pros: - Ivy bridge i7 is blazing fast- GT 640M is capable of great graphics when the integrated HD 4000 doesn't- Matte screen- 2x USB 3.0, one is charge-capable- Small profile- Fits inside most MacBook Pro cases/sleeves |
So far I'm really happy with this laptop. I'm using it for development in XNA, Android, Windows Phone, PC in OpenGL and DirectX. I also play games on it. Just Cause 2 was benchmarked at an average of 45 FPS on medium-high settings using just the HD4000 graphics. I'm willing to bet that when I benchmark with the GT 640M it will be even better. All in all, GREAT laptop! A+++++++++++! Would buy again!
