Cons: very misleading hard drive size, sells as 128Gb but has size listed as 97Gb and useable under 70Gb !! Would have considered alternative purchase.
Pros: lightweight, good screen, fast boot up |

Cons: -Fingerprint Magnet
Pros: -Light-Mobile-BRIGHT SCREEN-Style factor-Touchpad (once drivers were installed)-Keyboard Comment:
I got one of these little laptops to bring with me to school and I have to say, it is beautiful. Not only is it durable and light, but it looks so sleek. The screen brightness which they advertised is not an understatement - it really is much brighter than your average laptop screen. It also has respectable battery life and Samsung bundles a cool little utility which allows you to control whether you charge your battery 100% or 80%, to conserve battery life. They really did think of everything. The laptop is light, and even comes with a backlit keyboard, which is nice for typing in low-light situations. One thing to be mindful of - keep the cleaning cloth. You will need it, because this thing is a massive fingerprint magnet. |

Cons: 128GB might be too small for some usersVideo graphics not suitable for more demanding users/gamersNo removable batteryOpening the case voids your warranty
Pros: Extremely fast startup, sleep, shutdown, resume (less than 5 seconds)Very LightweightAll around duralumin aluminum alloy casingGood battery lifeSSD hard drive, 4GB memory (1 free bank to allow for expansion) Comment:
I needed an upgrade to my daily notebook which I use for work exclusively.Coming from a 2007 Lenovo T61, the Samsung 900X3A is a significant upgrade. The processor is an Intel Core i5 2467M which is capable of handling my medium to heavy office usage (Chrome, Firefox, Photoshop, Office applications, Accounting Suites, Remote desktop, CAD and other manufacturing related programs). No slow down at all and still has room for other things to open as CPU utilization does not go past 20-25%.4GB of memory is a good amount for a Windows 7 machine, and so far it has performed well with this amount of ram. Samsung preinstalled 1 bank of 4GB DDR, allowing you to expand easily without wasting existing memory. The 128GB Samsung mSATA SSD hard drive, along with the CPU and memory, forms a trifecta of optimal performance. Startup, shut down, sleep and resume times are measured in seconds; from a cold boot it takes 4 seconds to get to login screen even after I installed several programs and services. The case is made of duralumin, an aluminium alloy. It feels very solid, and makes for a lightweight yet durable form factor. Keyboard is backlit, and can be adjusted according to the environment.Graphics is not the best, given that this is more a business and consumer grade notebook. If you intend to game, this might not be for you.If you want something lightweight, solidly built, and isn't a Macbook air, the Samsung 9 series is for you. |
Misleading on hard drive size, they need to spell out real size and operating system space.
